When you start season 2, please watch two episodes back to back! 🥺🙏 then we can at least spend 40 minutes with you which is the length of time of all the other one hour shows. Of we do 2 seasons a year x10 seasons, we will be watching for 5 years 🥴

Alicia

At the end, Ross says to her that his friends are going to love her, not that he loved her. Replay it ❤️

Jennifer Lawrence

I have before developed very strong feelings fast with guys. I'm not even sure at this point I've quite figured out what it really means to be "in love" with someone and not just love them like you would one of your friends. Probably doesn't help it that most of my boyfriends I had been friends with before we started dating. I've never really done the dating around thing or gone on a blind date. So, it was always guys I was already rather fond of and definitely cared about in some capacity. So, feelings always become very confusing. So I've definitely confessed or thrown out the I love you too quickly before and scared guys away. I remember one boyfriend when he broke up with me told me that I kept telling him I loved him and he didn't feel the same way. So I asked him why he had told me multiple times that he did and he just responded that he didn't know. So, maybe he was also confused. At least at some point in our relationship. Years later I'm wondering if I was more in love with the role they filled in my life and how much they helped me. Rather than them as a person. But, that saying about hindsight being 20/20 is definitely a thing. You always look at situations or relationships differently from outside of it. Within the context of the show though Ross definitely strikes me as the type that would fall hard fast, lmao. He just seemingly got lucky with Julie there that she seems to be on the same page. Definitely a common TV and movie trope where as soon as someone figures out their feelings the other person is taken. Or as soon as they're finally single the other person isn't anymore. You'll see how this plays out as now their roles are sort of reversed lol. I do have experiences myself though of suddenly becoming more... Desirable? Towards the opposite sex when I was not single anymore. I don't know how many times I was messaged by ex's or guys I had been interested in before AFTER I got into a relationship. Even if I hadn't talked to them or seen them in a long time. It was almost as if suddenly now that I was taken they somehow knew and had to have me back. It was weird.

I'm pretty sure Ross said "they are going to love you" not "I love you" talking about the Friends lol

I totally feel your frustration with that ending. I just thank God every day that I was too young when it originally aired because waiting for 4 months must have been torture! It's good drama and excellent writing but also very frustrating for the viewers, especially the ones rooting for Ross and Rachel. Ross meeting this woman, starting a relationship and becoming so serious with her that he takes her back to the US to meet his friends and sister all within a WEEK is insane. Though he didn't say "I love you" as others have said. During the first season Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer were hardcore crushing on each other which is probably why they have such great chemistry. But one of them was always in a relationship so nothing ever happened. Fun fact: Episode 23 was originally going to be the season finale but director James Burrows thought the viewers cared more about Ross and Rachel than the birth. And I've never dated anyone so my answer to your question is no.

1 week does seem fast to be serious, but once you find out the context at the beginning of next season (no spoilers) it doesn't seem so drastic

Greg B

Yeah exactly. Ross is no Ted Mosby (iykyk) 🤣

I fell in love with my husband within a week. We were engaged after 6 weeks of dating and married 6 months later. Our ten year anniversary is in August and we are still just as much in love! It can definitely happen!🥰😊 But also, I’m pretty sure Ross said that his friends are going to love her.

Samir

Yeyyy I’m so happy we’re gonna continue these watch parties! The seasons only get better 😍😁

Dominic

Can’t wait for the next episode Rachel is so funny in that one I mean she’s funny in a lot next to Ross she’s my favorite but next episode the first part I remember vividly and it’s so funny🤣🤣

Savvy

Lol, next series after friends 😂😇

Lucy

Yes I can't wait either! Hehe

Lucy

Yes he did - I was going to put this in too! Glad you did though ☺️

SongsFromASuitcase

Yeah, I figured we need to continue it for at least another season. That last one went by too fast.

SongsFromASuitcase

Yeah, for some reason, I wasn’t really caring that much about him having his baby, but I was definitely caring about him being with Rachel

SongsFromASuitcase

Yeah, I don’t know what I would do if I weren’t with my husband. Relationships are often super tricky! I feel as I’m older, I I wouldn’t have the patience to deal with all of it. I probably just stay single forever.

I remember people saying a lot like this for glee, and then it felt like the entire show went by with the blink of an eye. I personally don’t mind spending five years with you guys.

Alicia

Glee had four fewer seasons than friends did, so we’d still be watching for MANY years. It’s just that I can barely sit down and have my lunch while enjoying my time with you before it’s over. 😭 Glee was also a 40-minute show whereas Friends is only 20, so doubling up on friends would make it the same length as Glee and most other shows and a lot more reasonable time for settling and hanging out. Watching Friends will still take longer than watching Glee 😁 PLUS, a rewatch of Friends, when it’s all over, would be SUPER fun as well because a new perspective the second time around would be just as entertaining ❤️ even trying it for a few weeks just to see how you like it would be something I’d be really grateful for. 🥹🙏 Then you could get feedback on how people like the 40-minute watching versus 20 minutes. 😘😘

My last relationship I fell in love with him SO fast and fell SO hard. Unfortunately he didn't fall the same and ended things after 14 amazing months. :( That was 5ish years ago and I've been single since. Not a single date. Just too scared to put myself back out there.
