Would you both ever react to the TINA documentary from 2021? it was her last project before she passed away 🤍

A real cool thing she did to promote Joanne was a mini drive bar tour - it showed a bit of it where she was performing from the balcony. I think y’all would love it.

She smoke a lot but is to manage her pain, I can understand her with her condition. I know how hurts everything with her medical condition because I have Lupus!

I Am Not Chamari

Haus of Gaga is a collective that she is essentially her creative team and deals with set, costumes, but also things like fragrances and her makeup line, Haus Labs! I am not really a makeup person but I have an unhealthy obsession with celebrity brands lol I really love her lip oil and her highlighter. You And I, (the song that she performed at the Democratic National Convention) is from her 2011 album Born This Way! Million Reasons is on Joanne.

Also, the Taylor mentioned in this doc is actor Taylor Kinney. They met on the set of Gaga's music video to You And I. They dated for five-ish years and got engaged during the last year of their relationship.

unrelated to Gaga but you asked if Florence and the machine had songs about addiction and recovery. YES! she is 10 years sober, almost every song deals with her battle with sobriety in some way, High as Hope is one of her most personal and raw album. she even talks about her anorexia in Hunger and her lyrics are so so good. I hope you guys will react to her soon, she's one of my faves.

Arturo Diaz

So glad we are getting Gaga content!!! Did you happen to react to the new joker trailer that just came out today?

Arturo Diaz

Gaga has stoped smoking since 2020. Her friend Tony Bennett has helped her to stop.

Emika

Gaga has opened up about this in more recent years, but a lot of her trauma that manifested itself in both mental and physical pain originated from when she was repeatedly sexually assaulted by a record producer who worked on her first album.

Linda Röglin

Florence is sober for 10 years now. „How Big, how blue, how beautiful“ was the first album that she made completely without the influence of alcohol.

So at one point some people she went to school with (I can't remember right now if it was from her high school or from NYU) had actually made an entire Facebook page saying that Lady Gaga would never get famous and just trashing her. So that could be part of the drive behind wanting the acceptance. As for the pain she found out that a part of it is because of a condition called fibromyalgia which causes pain, fatigue, sleep issues, cognitive problems and hypersensitivity. Fibromyalgia can be caused by psychological distress, trauma and certain infections

Jay Johnston

Even more recently there was someone who was in NYU with her that had also been on the bachelor who did an interview and started talking about how annoying Lady Gaga was in NYU because she would sit in a practice room at lunch playing piano and singing while the woman wanted to eat lunch in the practice room

Shortly about her past why she doesn’t feels good enough is that she was bullied in high school. There was a situation.. maybe in a pizza restaurant and boys from her school threw her into a trash can while so many girls saw her. And she didn’t talk about it.. I think years. There was also a Facebook group what was actually about hope her the worst. Like she’s nothing and never be famous. And the biggest reason is when she was 19 years old.. She worked with a producer, he threatened her with burning all of her music. She was locked away for months. And then.. she was sick for weeks, because of what happened and that she was pregnant with her abuser’s child. After all she got diagnosed with ptsd.

You def do need to react to Joanne. It’s not a fan favorite because the majority of her fanbase prefers the dance pop style, but a select few of us think it’s her best work. Also the song she performed at the democratic event was called you and I and at the Grammys during that album (born this way) cycle she performed it in character in full drag as a man named Joe Calderon. Everyone was shocked lol. She stayed in character on the red carpet and any time she was onstage. Also I’m not sure how much you’re familiar with mesh but she was very similar to Gaga in the style of her early music being strictly dance pop but Kesha’s was party dance pop, after she was released from her having to work with dr Luke who has mentally and sexually abused her for years she wrote an album called rainbow. Like Joanne it’s focused more on live instruments, lyricism and her vocals and it’s one of the best albums of all time. Would love a deep dive on Kesha
