I really like zelenas voice and I completely the abba feeling and I think the song is just “good enough” and is VERY repetitive. However, I do think that her actress would be incredible as Donna in mamma Mia! But this song was not it.

Tyler Explains It All

I might be the odd one out, but I love "Wicked Always Wins" it's a very catchy melody and Rebecca is incredible singing it.

Some fun facts that I actually found out about the musical episode are… 1. While filming the scene "Revenge is Gonna Be Mine," Colin O'Donoghue (Captain Hook) was performing a stunt with a chair early in the scene where he landed the wrong way and broke his foot. He continued filming though, not wanting to ruin the take, and completed the scene before admitting what had happened. O'Donoghue also proceeded to film the remainder of the season with a broken foot. 2. Colin O'Donoghue has no Broadway experience but was in a band called The Enemies for many years 3. Emma's wedding dress was heavily inspired by the gown Grace Kelly wore for her marriage to Prince Rainier of Monaco. 4. Ironically, even though Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold didn't do any singing, Robert Carlyle is an accomplished singer who has contributed to film soundtracks in the past.

Lana (Regina) actually is a dancer she can also actually sing. The voice that she used for the Evil Queen was planned as was the lower, raspy voice. She actually has a 4 octave range so she can sing high and is a soprano if she were to use Lana’s voice and not the Evil Queens voice. She said that the Evil queens song was fun to do but difficult because of how low and raspy it is. Bex’s (Zelena) song is actually my favorite song but all the song were great. When I was told by my friend (she worked on the show) that a musical episode was planned I didn’t like the idea. But I am so happy I ended up loving the episode. Jen (Emma) actually has a beautiful voice she sang on a movie Albion and was absolutely amazing I’ll find the clip she sang and DM you it so you can see it. Bobby (Rumple) actually has an amazing voice he sang on a movie he did I’ll look for it and DM you it so you can see it.

Lana (Regina) actually uses different voices for the Evil Queen and Regina. Whenever she plays the Evil Queen she uses a lower, raspier voice not only when she sings but also when she talks. But she is actually a soprano. Lana has released a few songs since the show ended. She has a great voice. Josh Dallas (Charming) has some experience in musical theatre and Colin (Hook) was in a band. Jennifer Morrison has also done some singing. She sang a bit in the movie 'Albion, the Enchanted Stallion'.

Tbh I love OUAT so much but the Emma singing part is sobI can't describe it exactly, unpleasant because it looks like they tried to do it like in the little mermaid? I get goosebumps every time, and not the good ones. And say what you want but you can see Snow and Charming are deeply in love in real life. It feels so different seeing them together and other couples in the show. It's a shame that so few of the original characters were at the wedding, and that two-thirds of them were just random background dancers. And yes Zelenas song wasn't so good matching with the other songs but as a standalone I kinda like it.

It's just a little thing, but a few days ago I saw that Colin/Hook was at a convention. A woman gave him a bunch of papers tied together, and when he asked what they were, she said they were a script for a fan fiction story about Hook. He smiled a little uncomfortably and gave her the autograph she wanted. The whole thing was strange and amusing, and I still don't know how to feel about it!

Ughhh 2 more episodes left!! I remember watching season 4 when it was airing when I was 11 years old! Now I’m 20 and have loved rewatching it with you. This show actually introduced me to you when I saw your video for the Pilot on YouTube. Can’t wait for what’s next ❤️

As the person who bought the original reaction I can tell you that your reaction was pretty much the same, you just had more understanding of what was happening than last time. "This is not a musical this is a musical episode within a tv show' was also something I believe you said last time as well lol

Zach Davis

Kinda long, sorry I love Charming geeking out, you could tell he was so happy to do a musical. I'd love to see you do a reaction to your reaction of reacting to the musical... how meta! I will say, you def seemed more into the musical this time because you know the context of what's happening. In your original reaction, you thought Regina and Zelina were lovers and well... And 2 episodes left! It's a two parter! I was thinking, without spoiling the end of season 6, would you like if we told you some of the major plot points of season 7, etc (in the comments of episode 21 before you watch OUR series finale) or are you planning on watching it on your own? Lastly, I'm not sure how much there is to go off of but I'd love you to breakdown some of these songs. I'm sure you'd love to breakdown charming and guyliner but maybe Zelina's song to tell us how it could've been better. -Z

Between this episode and Danny reacting to the singing greys anatomy episode, I am all sung outtttt haha at least this episode felt a little more natural since they’re storybook characters 😅 can’t believe we’re nearing the end of the show!! I’ve been watching since the beginning and have loved re-watching along with you 🫶🏼💕

I love how Henry is always her “North Star” he always reminds her of her greatness. He’s always been the author. I also remember not caring about this episode as much because of the music but watching it again 9/10

Fun fact, the actress who plays little Emma (McKenna grace) actually has two albums and a few singles you should check them out she's also phenomenal in the movie gifted. same age as she was in this show I think...
