Alicia

I remember being so torn between Luke and Max cause I loved them both.

Ava Koppenhoefer

I always laugh about the post it’s 😂 my dad and his siblings did that at my grandmas

Lúcia Helena F. Quintella

I love this show so much. My best friend and I used to meet once a year (after we graduated and moved and life got adult) and just watch Gilmore Girls for hours. Emily and Richard are very complex characters and I love how you can understand their nuances. I’m really loving seeing this journey

Btw I love how we went from “I don’t know if I’ll get attached to the characters” to a full deep dive into their personalities and psyche 😂 you are amazing

Caitlin Green

This is one of my favorite episodes. I love watching Emily and Richard experience Stars Hollow and the world that Lorelai built for her and Rory.

Tereza

I think that it will be a drama about Rory’s boy. Like.. Lorelai is gonna be so dramatic and fight with Rory and then she’ll talk with her and it’s gonna be okay and she tell her she trust her. I think it fits to her character. But maybe i am wrong

Comment on your response to my statement in E2: I'm not familiar with the American school system, so I don't know if things are different there. Here in Germany, there is no such thing as "talking to the teacher after class" time. When the lesson is over, everyone leaves or takes a break and the teacher moves on to the next class. In addition, there is a grade for written participation and for verbal participation. If you never say a word, your grade will be lower than it could be if you had answered a few questions. That's why my statement referred to that, as I assumed it was a common system. My apologies.

I was going to say Gil Girls but u said it before I could type lol

I am loving your perspective on things and very much appreciate how open you’re being to these character dynamics. This show is about how complicated families can be, specifically mothers and daughters. Nobody is a villain, nobody is a hero. These are complex people who have wonderful parts about them and not so wonderful parts about them. So many people look at these people through black and white lenses. A hot take of “growing up is realizing that Emily was right and Lorelai is just an immature brat” will go viral at least once a year and it drives me crazy. I tend to lean more on Lorelai’s side more because I relate to her more and while I understand Emily’s pain she frustrates me more. However, human beings and their relationships are just more complicated than people view them. Also, lots of fans call it GG so that’s totally fine lol

Kyra Podmore

This is my comfort show along with friends, I watch it every day none stop, it helped through the toughest days and comforted me after surgery, I’m so glad you decided to watch this! I’m looking forward to your intake of each episode, look forward to next weeks!🤍

I really love hearing your perspectives on everything. I feel like I've had a tendency of falling into just a nostalgic mode where I don't watch as analytically anymore. So watching with you through an adult lens is refreshing! I will say one thing, you mentioned that Rory and Lane must be at the diner really early to be there before school - I suggest you not focus too hard on how time works in this show. You'll find that they manage to accomplish a LOT within a single day and still make it home before dark, etc. It's definitely not an element the writers focused on!

I love that you're six episodes in and completely hooked! I'm really happy you're enjoying this. I had a strong feeling you would. The actress that played Rory (Alexis Bledel) was 19 when the show started and her love interest Dean (Jared Padalecki) was 18. Rory's best friend Lane (Keiko Agena) was 27 when the show started!

Huggabunchable

I usually just say GG but then I am also obsessed with Gossip Girl and that could also be GG lol. I am really enjoying your reactions. My husband thinks i’m crazy bc I watch other people watch my shows but he won’t watch them with me… so yeah. There’s that lol 🤣

Madeline Jensen

My parents also think I’m crazy for doing this 🤣. But, like you no one watches these shows with me

Lucy

I love love love how you are delving into to complexities of these characters already as I also find it so fascinating learning different personalities, and how different people show love or thier love language. This is one of my favourite episodes in season one for all the character layers. And like your dad Audrey my mum is not traditional in the way she showed her love. She would never say ' I love you ' directly to me, especially growing up, which at the time I did not know and thought maybe she didn't. But when I was about 10 I realised her version was always making sure I had comfy shoes. Even now she always asks me how my shoes are 🥹

I swear this show is a psychiatrist’s dream, so many interesting personalities and relationship dynamics to analyze, compare, and discuss. Especially the generational trauma and breaking the cycle while still trying to have a relationship with the previous generation.

Ronja

I love how you really dive in deep with your commentary. I love Emily and Richard personally, they remind me a bit of my grandparents. I 100% understand what you mean about love languages but sometimes it can be hard to meet a person where they are at and always finding that they don't offer the same curtesy. So as the "Rory" of my family it can be tricky to navigate having a relationship with you grandparents that is healthy and were they show you a lot of love when maybe your parents don't get to experience that side of them. My mom and her in-laws don't get along for many reasons and it can be hard to be in the middle. Hearing things about them that don't reflect how they act infront of you. All that to say that I really empathise with all of them.

Shelby Dyson

I’m the one from the episode 2 comments who named her daughter after this show. Her legal name is Lorelai but we call her Rory and it’s crazy to think but she’s going to be 1 the day before Valentine’s Day

Shaliek

You sending your dad pictures of toilets is so cute.🩷
