I feel so sorry for Caroline, and it seems strange to me that she could possibly enjoy it. Wasn't it obvious that Damon caused her severe pain? He doesn't gently suck on her neck, he abuses her, literally. But maybe it's just that romantic idea of vampires that their bite excites you and is pleasurable. That's definitely not the case here. On the opposite, a vampire bite is painful, brutal and can even cause flesh to be torn from the area, or even worse.

No, never. I saw a terrified Caroline, heard her screaming. And that's why I'm confused about it. But I know there are a lot of vampire series that feature the trope of 'biting giving pleasure', as in Moonlight.

I was so happy when the teacher died. They made a reference to the herb vervain. When it's worn on you or in your system, it prevents vampires from being able to compel you. I love Matt. He is such a sweetheart in this and attractive lol. So excited to keep watching this with you.
