What you said when Billy and Daisy were talking about what they do when they're sad was so interesting. Because it's true. Yes, Daisy tries not to feel things, she takes pills to avoid it, but she is able to use it to write songs, while Billy tries to actually feel these things now, but he also works really hard to keep it to himself, he doesn't want people to see the truth about him because he doesn't want to risk the second chance he got from everyone he hurt and he thinks allowing them to see that he's still struggling means they'll see he's still that same person and leave him. BUT! It then also comes to what Billy was saying about Daisy's lyrics and all the metaphors and not saying what she means. I love metaphors and stuff like that in songs too, but there has to be a limit, and I get the feeling all of hers were like that because while she was being honest about herself and how hurt she is, she was trying to dress it up and say it in a way to kinda disguise the hurt and hide it from herself. Also, I'm rewatching Danny's reactions to this alongside yours because I find it so interesting to see your differing perspectives on characters due to different life experiences. But it's also fun when you have the same reaction to something. Like Daisy's line of "That's not very rock and roll of you, Billy." you both had basically the same reaction and it was so funny. 🤣
