So Jaafar Jackson played him and from what I read they mixed tracks of Jaafar singing with tracks of Michale singing. I saw this in theaters. It is really good.

Don't you worry... The sequel has already been confirmed

Jaafar did an amazing job as Michael. Some fun facts: michael once said he saw bill as more if a father to him than joseph ever was. Which i thought they portrayed that dynamic well in the movie. Also! Bubbles the chimp is still alive aged 43, living in a sanctuary and is financially supported by michael jacksons estate.

i was wondering if you were gonna react to this! So glad you did! It was such a good movie, my parents went to see it twice!

This is such a good movie!! There were quite a few moments where Jaafar looked EXACTLY like Michael that it feels like he’s still alive in that moment! That Michael’s soul is right there in Jaafar’s body. He embodied his uncle so well. I teared up rewatching his music career moments. He was such a light & that light is missed so much. Can’t wait for part 2. I’m curious to see how they are going to tell the difficult allegation stuff, but looking forward to more of the performance & music moments cause there are still so many to come.

Yeah, he really did bring rival gangs together to dance in his music video for the song Beat It. That’s the power of MJ. His light & his soul can bring people together. It’s powerful.

I fully feel like it’s Joseph’s fault that Michael got those scalp burns because he manipulated, guilted & pushed Michael into doing the Pepsi commercial to promote the Victory tour. That is all on Joseph. He was such a selfish, narcissistic person. He makes me so mad.

OMG Audrey u look so good as a blonde! so beautiful! I would not look good as a blonde lol

Fun fact: Bubbles is still alive today at 43 years old. Joseph & Don King made getting the tickets for the Victory Tour like a lottery, essentially people paid the price of 4 tickets just to get the chance of getting 1 (and because so many wanted to see Michael, not everyone who did it got a ticket or their $ back). When Michael heard from fans about how hard it was to get a ticket, he announced on TV that he would put a stop to it and all the $ he earned would go to various charities (he essentially did the tour for free). Also, the brothers wanted to do the Victory Tour because they needed money bc they weren’t as big, and they were a lil upset when Michael announced it was their last tour.

Colman Domingo (Joseph) plays the Cowardly Lion in ‘Wicked: For Good,’ Albert Johnson in ‘The Color Purple,’ Billy Burke in ‘Candyman,’ and Ali Muhammad in ‘Euphoria’

So Michael's mom tried to get rid of Joseph. If you want to watch a movie that is a little more detail about his childhood, watch Jackson 5 American dream. On top of the abuse he constantly gave his kids, he also cheated often. When Michael's mom found out, she tried to leave him, but the church they were attending convinced her not to
