This is still not out yet

I’m planning on watching this myself, this show comes from Tim Federle (who is the creator of High School Musical The Musical The Series) and it’s basically about a school for witches and warlocks fighting other creatures of the night and for this being a Disney Channel series they have some big names attached to it like having Tiffani Thiessen and Devon Sawa in a show together is next level craziness!!! I’m very interested in the premise of this and Tim Federle can do no wrong, not only is this his next show after HSMTMTS but he’s been killing it lately as a producer he’s an executive producer on Vamprina: Teenage Vampire and he’s an executive producer on Camp Rock 3 (which is coming next month) plus he’s also directing and producing the sequel to Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion so he has a lot on his plate. And he’s also helping develop the Broadway adaptation of The Greatest Showman as well.

In regards to the single camera thing- Friends was shot as a 4 camera sitcom so multiple views could be shot at the same time. Single camera shows only use 1 camera to get every angle. It provides more attention to detail but takes longer to shoot

SongsFromASuitcase

Oh that helps clarify it. Thank you! It seems like most tv shows aren’t filmed in single camera, I’m I wrong?

Melissa Johnson

I don't think it is super common, no. The sitcom The Middle was single camera i know for sure. If you haven't watched that, I recommend! It streams on both peacock and prime video. It ran for 9 seasons

You mentioned the movie “Practical Magic”; the second movie is coming out in September of this year (there’s already a trailer out for it). When you were talking about the spinoffs for TVD, the show you couldn’t remember the name of is “Legacies”. You have 6 more seasons of TVD to get through and 5 seasons of “The Originals” to get through before you get there, though 😅.

I’ve never heard of the series before. You could watch Bridgerton. If you haven’t already watched it, I’m pretty sure you might like the songs they use in it, especially as they’re special versions made just for the show.

Editing

I want more. It’s premiere September 15th on Disney Channel and next day on Disney +!!

Aleksi Äikää (male)

also brendon tremblay is in it and he plays max hatter in the newest descendants too

CartoonishClaude

I wouldn't be surprised if Tim Federle directs a Descendants film in the future.

CartoonishClaude

Descendants will also be getting Locker Diaries, starting July 25th.

I am so excited for this to come out,i feel like I've been waiting forever for coven academy to release, i'm also excited to see different actors and actresses from descendants and zombies to film a show together and I just found out me and Tim federle have the same birthday which is so cool!! Can't wait too see you reaction to Coven Academy

CartoonishClaude

Coven Academy will officially premiere on October 1st on Freeform and then all of season 1 will be available on Disney Plus the next day.

SwiftViewer

Speaking of Witches, have you watch Sabrina the Teenage Witch the 90s sitcom series? starring Melissa Joan Hart and total of 10 seasons is on hulu or paramount plus
