It is also a good message for young women. That you can find yourself, but you have to take risks to do so. That you must be confused before you can find clarity. What can I say? I am sap for this stuff. Fairy tales are my bread and butter. I've read so many of them and watched so many of them. They never bore me. I find them healing, giving back wonder when the world has jaded us. To enjoy shows like this, you need to let go. Interesting that fairy tales are so applicable to our daily lives, isn't it?

So the skeleton the queen visits in the swamp is the original evil queen from Snow White. Snow White is Wendell's grandmother and his stepmother is the current evil queen

The waterfall scene was filmed in Austria. Most of the series was filmed in Europe. The kissing town scenes were filmed in France, the Snow-White-Memorial-Prison scenes were filmed in Austria too and most of the forest scenes were filmed in England
