I love how even in an alternate time line, chandler and Monica still find each other. I think that means they were truly meant to be together. My wife and I see our relationship that way. We met in a not so good way, lost touch for years, then managed to find our way back to one another and have been together for almost 10 years now. I try to believe that love will always find a way.

Aww Audrey I agree Jamie and I are cute hehe we did work together but we work in separate nurseries now, but he is still amazing - like a gentle giant lol Yes it's important that kids feel thier emotions, but for adults too for sure. I had to be happy when I was little as my mum couldn't really deal with my 'too sensitive' nature, she tried but not hard enough in my opinion. That's why it's so important to me that I let everyone feel what they need to feel. I too love that Chandler and Monica found eachother in this time line too they are just the best couple in this series - love them so much.

I haven't even gotten to the reaction yet; I just finished the part where you were reading Lucy and Jamie's comments, and I'm crying. I didn't see the comments when they were first made, and I was told the same thing about “unmanly” emotions by my dad. But now, as an adult, I feel everything. I used to suppress my emotions and mask them while not even realizing what that was doing to me. But ever since I came out as non-binary when I was 21, 4 years ago, the floodgates have opened. And I couldn't be better for it! Also, I appreciate Jamie and Lucy for showing the younger generations that their emotions are valid. It truly gives me a little more hope in this world on fire. So thank you, Lucy and Jamie!

Y’all in the comments are so wholesome. You warm my heart. I really think we are versions of adults that little us needed. I feel humbled and privileged to have lived this long to see that adult begin to form, truly wasn’t sure I’d make it to 30. And for shits and giggles, I’m a Leo sun, Aquarius moon and Libra rising (and Aquarius and Leo are opposites in the chart). I did not expect the alternate reality intro that was amazing. I love that they continued the story and brought it all full circle. Monica and Chandler were super fucking cute, even though at first it seemed like she was using him to get rid of her first time jitters, but the consent seemed enthusiastic so I mean fucking get it. Also, I’ve never puked in someone’s mouth, but one time I made out with someone and shortly after I puked on her shoe. Not a proud moment lol but luckily we laughed together later. It was the one and only night I’ve ever gotten black out drunk. Anywaaaays lmao I’m so grateful to be watching this show here with y’all 💛

Completely agree Dana, I love our community on here! ☺️ Xxx

Thank you for my happy birthday song! Made me smile. Sadly me and Lucy don't work together anymore, she was my mentor and has helped me in so many ways! She's the best friend I aways wanted growing up. I like being the voice for my children should they need it, in the times when they need a little support and I give that. but it makes me super proud when they don't need me anymore. But I'm aways there should they need a hug. Lol.

To agree with everyone else, I teared up watching Chandler and Monica find love in each other regardless of how their lives developed. I think it was such an amazing point for the writers to continue on and not negate their own progressing current story with every character. I believe everything happens for a reason, and this episode really ties it into a bow about how the characters are meant to go through the heartbreaks to find their best selves! So inspiring :) Encourages a viewer like me to keep on keeping on. <3

Monica and Chandler are my favourite tv couple! ❤️ The whole 'joke' of Monica being fat never made sense to me, because I feel that she was written and portrayed as happy in her life, and it's essentially the same as in the 'normal' show. The only difference is she's at the start of her relationship with Chandler instead of at the point of living together, and that's seemingly because Ross didn't get married to Emily, so there was no wedding for them to hook up at 🤷‍♀️ (Also i'm pretty sure this was Lisa Kudrows real hair, and the rest of the season she was in a wig)

Thank you Audrey for creating it and all of you for being a part of it 💛

This really resonated with me, Dana! The part about becoming the adults that little us needed. I’ve thought about that a lot over the years. I have really become the adult, that would’ve protected me as a child and I am so proud of that! Friends has gotten me through some really rough phases of my life, so getting to rewatch it now with Audrey and this community feels really special. 🫶🏽

I’m so glad it resonated and it is definitely something to be proud of! I’m fucking proud of you for that too! I agree this is definitely a special space 💛

It always makes me happy watching Chandler confess his feelings to Monica in the alternate universe. It's just so sweet how their relationship is so rooted in friendship, that it makes their romance so much stronger.
