This is such a fun show. I love the Addams Family!

Lauren (Taylor’s Version)

I’ve been meaning to watch this show since it came out but haven’t! It would be so fun to watch for the first time with you!

Ren S.

I vote Wednesday. School spirits seems cool but I’m excited to watch you dive into more of the Addams mystery.

Brittney F.

I’ve already watched this show once through, and it really is the perfect time to rewatch it- while watching your reaction to it. I hope this show wins! I don’t have too much previous knowledge on the Addams Family, but this show totally had me hooked.

Cody

Got to be Wednesday

2026-10-04 22:00 You mentioned briefly that you want to see therapists react to this show to see what they think. There are some who have (at least the 1st season). Principal Larissa Weems, portrayed by actress Gwendoline Christie, said that although she's grateful for and enjoyed playing other roles (such as Brienne of Tarth on GOT), this was the first time she'd ever felt beautiful on screen. "It is the first time I've ever felt beautiful on screen. I cannot express my extreme gratitude more heartily to Tim Burton, Colleen Atwood, and our hair and makeup team. Colleen Atwood is rightfully a legend, and what she did was take my body and examine it and celebrate it, and make me feel like I was a part of a beautiful, classical cinematic world." Tim Burton apparently offered her the role without an audition and told her she could "do whatever she wanted with the character." Enid said scales (as in the sirens), not skanks, when introducing the social groups to Wednesday. The Weathervane is the name of the cafe she beat up the boys dressed as pilgrims in. When Tyler said, “With what happened at the Weathervane today, I figured they’d have you in solitary.” He meant it as a joke. Since if you get in trouble in jail, they will put you in solitary confinement sometimes as a punishment for doing something against the rules. He understands that Wednesday sees Nevermore (her school) as a sort of prison.

2026-10-04 22:00 The Addams family were originally single-paneled cartoons created by cartoonist Charles Addams in 1938. None of the characters had names in the original comics. He only named them and linked them as a family when helping to develop the original TV show. The original, black and white “Addams Family” TV show ran from 1964 - 1966. It had 2 seasons and 64 episodes (you can actually find some full episodes on YouTube). Had a few things relating to the Addams Family come out in between (in 1972, 1973, and 1977), and then in 1991 there was the live-action movie called “The Addams Family”, which starred Raul Julia (Gomez Addams), Anjelica Huston (Morticia Addams), Christopher Lloyd (Uncle Fester), and Christina Ricci (Wednesday Addams). There was a short animated series that came out in 1992-1993, then there was a sequel to the previous movie (with Christina Ricci and that same cast) that came out in 1993, called “Addams Family Values”. Had another live-action film with a different cast come out in 1998 (Tim Curry was in it as Gomez Addams), there was a different live-action TV series that came out in 1998-1999, and then 2 3D-animated movies that came out in 2019 and the sequel 2021 featuring Charlize Theron (Morticia Addams), Oscar Isaac (Gomez Addams), Chloë Grace Moretz (Wednesday Addams), Bette Midler (Grandmama), Nick Kroll, and Bill Hader. All of that came out before this TV series (Wednesday), which first premiered in 2022.
