Wanting to know who it’s about is so relatable! I feel like you’re like me and when you hear arguing or cop cars outside you crack a window to get the drama. I literally did this yesterday when a couple was fighting outside in my apartment complex I even heard “what kind of man goes around cheating like that” 😂😂😂

I just got to the part with you talking about tolerate it and I love that song too but it just makes me so sad to hear now. My little sister last year was dating a guy and after they broke up she started telling me more about him and it was so clear he was emotionally abusive and what she told me reminded me so much of the things Taylor expresses in the song. If it were me that got hurt I’d be fine, but it makes me sad, angry, disgusted, and filled with rage that someone did that to my little sister. Luckily he was out of state and couldn’t afford the out of state tuition plus room and board so he went back home and that’s why they broke up. It was like the universe intervening because she didn’t think it was abuse until I explained why and how and even played tolerate it to show her that what he was doing wasn’t love. It was tolerating her and putting up with her love when he should be celebrating it.

Loved this! Read the whole thing and I agree I also feel like it’s about him! I didn’t know how he simultaneously refused to be tied to her yet used her to get things. That’s so slimey. It’s almost like he hates himself but is too egotistical so he projects that hatred on to Taylor because she was more successful and known than he was. She’s better than me, I would have hired someone to mildly inconvenience him just to ruin his day periodically. 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 like not hurt him because that’s illegal but just do things that annoy him. 😂😂
