Danny found a new born pup abandoned in the Thailand jungle! He saw some pups on the top of the cliff crying to down below. He didn’t think it was anything but just in case he checked the bushes below and sure enough there was a tiny newborn pup. It had fallen off the cliff side and was alone.

So he did what any loving man does, he called me to give me puppy eyes with the puppy eyes

It worked 🐶

We took her to the vet and got her checked up to make sure she wasn’t hurt and was healthy.

We’re keeping her there for a few days to make sure she’s clear of any diseases, then…. Idk 🤷‍♀️

We will need to find her a permanent home asap as we can not keep her. Our 17 year old dog needs all the attention ❤️

If that were me I would keep her. I would take her but Mom doesn’t want to entertain the idea of another dog until spring because she doesn’t want to try to potty train during winter. Plus I don’t live in Thailand and we just lost our 15-year old but dad and I would be sucked in easily

everyone is saying “keep her” but i know how hard it is to take on a young dog when you’re taking care of an elderly one. so glad your husband saved her and i hope you guys are able to find someone local to take this lil cutie 🥹❤️

Exactly. She’s a doll. Shes well behaved, eats like a champ and already potties on the pad. But Danny and I have put off traveling for years because we’ve been taking care of our senior dogs. When Weenie goes to college, we’re putting on backpacks and taking off around the world. Can’t do that with a dog.

Technically I can’t send her to the USA until six months from now because she’s only one month old. Hopefully we find her a home before then but if at that point, we’ll start talking about overseas adoptions. Last year we rescued a cat who was beat up severely. We paid for his vet, surgery and then flight and paperwork to Arizona where my best friend adopted him. He’s now spoiled rotten ❤️

She was the runt. Half the size of the two other puppies. The mom is taking care of the pups in the jungle however they often can’t feed more than two pups so the runt starves to death.

Yes, send the little sweet to Michigan, please 🤗 I WISH i need one. My soul, Gizmo, went to heaven at age 17, in April and he had been what got me through a divorce, COVID, #life …. and I can’t recover. He was too special, and for a while I refused to even think of another pup, because I needed to heal first. But now I’m learning the hard way how non-linear grief is, and some days it feels harder than the day of….

Are we placing/taking odds on Danny wearing Audrey down until she gives in and has a new four-legged friend? You know what might help? A name for her! Like... Kimi. They you could say, "Audrey, you can give up little Kimi!" Which sounds a lot better and more compelling than, "Audrey, you can give up o'l what's her name."

It took me two years before I could say Huahua's name without crying. I still miss her. But I also know that theres going to be many dogs in my life who need love and a good mommy. In six months, if no one here has adopted her then I would totally be down to see if youre the right fit.

We named her Shera from Heman. She's a strong little pup who's gonna make some fur mommy very happy. We've fostered and found homes for three dogs and one cat so far. They ended up in homes that we're sooo perfect for them.
