I'm planning on watching a few more episodes of glee tomorrow and I wanted to know if you all enjoyed having Hailey join me? I was a little concerned that we get distracted and talk too much during the episodes. But at the same time she points out stuff that I didn't notice and we do have a lot of fun together!(FYI she does NOT know I'm polling this)

Wow what a bunch of haters. No offense but if this is how you are watching Glee for the first time, you are not in the right place. I feel the point of "reaction videos" is to see the reaction of the person you're watching, more than actually watching the show. Who cares if they talk a lot or talk over the show. You should have already seen the show. Sorry to rant, I just couldn't believe how many people voted against you having a guest in the video.

I say bring her in, yes there is alot of misses but there is fun which is more important. And I have watched this on repeat between 2019 and 2020, due to G.A.D. (General Anxiety Disorder) so I know order of episodes, songs in episodes, dialog as well, so I watch this to not feel alone. In my 40s so alot of friends don't get Glee or why I enjoy it so I will keep watching with you all, no matter who joins you. All that matters is you enjoy it while you watch it. Laughing alone can suck sometimes. 😊😉

Glee is ostensibly a comedy, and it has a lot of wacky moments regardless. It's always better to laugh (or cringe) with someone else. Your guys' banter was fun. If you miss a piece of exposition, I'm sure a commenter will fill you in. So as long as you pay attention to the serious emotional moments, I don't see any downsides to keeping her on.

Maybe a compromise could be to just have her catch up so she's invested/the commentary goes beyond "I don't remember this at all" or things along those lines? It's fun to watch with people and see through their eyes (I think that's why a lot of people like watch parties and reaction videos in general). I'll admit that it can be annoying if the person you're watching with talks so much over the show/movie that you/they miss dialogue/the plot.

I definitely think you should ask her to come and as long as you are both having a good time, then that’s all that really matters. Yes your channel is about singing/performance and breaking down the songs but reaction videos, especially watch parties are more about seeing your reaction to something and getting to laugh along with you. So the more the merrier!

I think she was a good addition! I loved Danny’s reactions too. In my opinion, the more the merrier. Like someone mentioned above, glee is a comedy and as long as you’re paying attention to the serious moments it’s okay if you miss things here and there. Plus having someone else can help if you do miss anything.

People complaining you're missing some lines or scenes, but Glee is so badly edited it's impossible not to do that or be distracted by something else. The bad writing and editing doesn't let you sink in some set ups or punchlines, plus the lack of continuity with most characters is jarring. Glee is about the songs and some comedic lines, not about the plot. Something else is some people want Audrey to like the same things or characters as much as they do and get mad if she doesn't react the way they expected. She has her own mind and tastes, people.
