I love this episode so much. Hearing Zoey sing for the whole episode was the best! I also love how much this episode changes the rest of the season for the characters.

Shannon Hartman

I agree, Audrey. Did not like this episode. Ohhh, the awkwardness!!! I have no idea how this is going to be okay next episode. And no Mo... where was Mo? Mo would have been very interested in this! And I love Dad... We can't get rid of Dad!!!

Stephanie Kurisunkal

I just like the parts with Zoey and Max. I was really annoyed when she sang to Simon.

This episode is a hard one for me because oh my god the secondhand embarrassment. It's good for plot progression with the father, but the rest of it is just AHHHHHHHHHHHHH The rest of the season is very good. The next episode has one of my favorite songs of the series.

This is my favorite episode of the show and from what I’ve seen, it’s also in most fan’s top favorites. I understand your frustration with it and I also said I hated it at first cause it was so cringey. But I feel this episode really shows jane levy’s talent and the range of this show. One minute you’re laughing hysterically and the next you are crying. As a heads up Zoey is going to make A LOT more mistakes, but her being imperfect makes her more relatable I think and provides more room for self growth. She does figure it out eventually and I think that’s one of the main reasons she got these powers in the first place. The remaining episodes are more emotional than the first half of the season so brace yourself 🥲

Here I am balling like a baby, this show always hits personally, I was a caregiver for my father up until he died and Zoey singing that last song to her father always gets me going. 💔

I agree, some of it was really cringe 😂but I love the new developpement of Zoey singing too, and the acting was really impressive ! I think this episode is the beginning of something even more crazy so I'm all for it 😃 (well, OK, I am upset about that kiss too.)

Complete and total ugly crying over here...

I think this episode was necessary in order to give her storyline some conflict. You know, instead of the conflict being in the lives of strangers or friends. So now begins the conflict resolution. Ngl, it takes awhile to work through it all. But we weren't really expecting smooth sailing for her anyway. Every protagonist has challenges! 😉 (P.S. Her singing "I'm Yours" to Max is one of my favorite moments in the whole show, even if it is a little embarrassing.)

Talk about life imitating art or vice versa. I had just turned 19 and was in my first year of University when my Dad had a massive heart attack at work and was put into ICU at the University Hospital. I was too scared to see him, just like Zoey so I would actually sit outside one of the buildings where I was able to see could see my Dad’s room and cry and pray for him to make it. I lied to my Mom and said I had visited. The night we were to bring him home, we received a phone call in the middle of dinner that he had had another massive heart attack and wouldn’t make it. Once again, I was too scared to see him and stayed home and started clearing up the dinner dishes. We had spaghetti and meatballs that night, his favourite meal. I stacked the dishes and turned to put them on the counter when the bottom one fell to the floor and shattered. I knew that my Dad had passed away at that moment because we had had 8 dinner plates fir my family of 8 and now we had 7. I bent down to pick up the broken pieces of the plate and as I straightened up my Dad was standing in the corner of the kitchen and smiled and waved at me and disappeared. 😭💜🥰

Zoey singing to Max one of the Top moments that changed everything love it

This episode originally aired a few weeks before the first anniversary of my father's death. That last song wrecked me then and now. I can't hear it without crying. I also have trouble with the song during the presentation. Second hand embarrassment is too high.

I love this episode for so many reasons! I saw mommy kissing Santa Clause is so funny and I laugh just thinking about " pressure ". I love Zoey singing to Max and my heart breaks every time I hear Zoey sing to her dad . I understand the feelings about how it it is wrong for Zoey to be attracted to Simon however she did not want to be and she did not intend to let him know . I really think she is terrified messing things up with Max and losing him if they become romantically involved . With her dad dying she cannot bear the idea of the loss of Max as well .
