Yes, thank you for saying it. I've never been as much of a fan of this performance as others because there's something about how he sings the bigger songs that shows me that he is holding back. And at this point of the show, I'm convinced that he just doesn't know that he has more in his arsenal or how to properly produce it with a few minor changes to his technique.

Siobhan Linehan

Oh the spoilers in this for you lol. It's a good thing you don't mind that. 😂🙈 I really love this performance, it's a shame that you didn't like it much. You seem to criticize Kurt's songs often. Maybe from a vocal coach point of view that makes sense. But I just find his voice so lovely to listen to. And I think it really works in this song to keep it soft and not have that build up. But this is just my opinion and we all think differently. 😊

I don't love Kurt's version of this song BUT in all fairness I can't help comparing him to Raul Esparza's version which haunts me! Have you heard it? It's most definitely worth a listen!

Jacob

FINALLY YES.

I think we can all agree that he could have done more with the song. But...in his defense and without spoiling that ep she hasn't seen yet. He basically did exactly what Whoopie wanted, it was meant to be unrehearsed, raw and without any theatricality. She wanted him to prove he could perform the emotion and "Feel" the song without having to "act" it. Does that make any sense? Lol. I'm not a singer of any kind so I may have mis read the whole thing. Also... Yall please dont judge me but I really just dont like that song. Like at all. Lol. There was only like 5 songs through all 6 seasons that I remember feeling, (this song is boring).

OH MY GAAAAWD!! Ugh! If he brought it back I would be soo excited! I’m also excited about this docu series! When will it release and where? That makes sense that IF he were to reboot it, he should do it soon since Lea Michelle is trending in broadway and Amber Riley is on the mask. Get it while it’s hot again.

Kenyatta (KD) Smith

I think the whole point of this performance for him in this episode was to do something more vulnerable and less showy, which is why I don't think they did too much with it.

It'll release on Discovery+ but the date hasn't been announced yet. I can let you know when it has. And exactly, all the Lea drama has passed and she's popular again. And Amber is smashing it. Plus Kevin and Jenna have a popular podcast. Melissa has finished with Supergirl. Etc etc. It feels like a good time. So I hope it happens. I'm just glad to know he's considering it. 😂🤞

I love this song, this version and I always felt it wasn't meant to be "perfect" because he's at a college? So maybe some restraint on the techniques? I'm Still Here is I think my fave Kurt solo

Kurt voice has just gotten better as the seasons go on so would love To see more of your reaction to Kurt other solos and his duets with Rachel and Blaine
