I am trying to figure out what the next TV show I should start doing Watch Parties for, however the options are limited if I choose one that has singing.

** update: I’m looking for an ongoing tv series to take the place of Zoey once that’s done. I’m not looking for a single musical episode in a show. Those are more for song reaction videos for YT.

WOULD YOU BE OK WITH ME DOING WATCH PARTIES FOR A TV SHOW THAT DOESN'T HAVE SINGING?

New Girl is a funny show that’s non musical

I think you would like Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (although the title seems jarring it's making fun of the statement). It's a musical show but like comedy there's a few broadway actors who have been on the show. But if you enjoyed the comedy in both Zoe and Glee you'll like this show. Plus it actually tackles topics especially mental health. I recommend

Have you already seen Schitt's Creek? That's a good one and Eugene Levy & Catherine O'Hara sing in A Mighty Wind so it's musical-adjacent. ;-)

I think you should totally watch Buffy the vampire slayer OR charmed because both are great series and both are so empowering. Buffy the vampire slayer even do a musical episode which is awesome. It was only done because he director realised that some of the cast members were really good singers.

STRANGER THINGS!!!!. Would be soooo much fun. I think you could definitely spin it into some musical videos as the soundtracks are the bomb. 80s baby right here. Music was just better in the 80s lol. My son laughs at me because I know the words to every single song in every episode for 35 40 yr old music but never remember where my keys are. And..... if watch parties started now buy the time you reach end of S4. S5 should be almost out.

Victorious, Big Time Rush, or Austin and Ally for preteen tv shows that include a ton of original music and have comedy that’s not all kid cringy and stuff. For tv show without music I saw stranger things on here which would be 100% a great addition to your channel if you haven’t seen it yet

That's a tough one because everyone has their own mood and taste when there are so many different shows. I would probably be down with doing the whole Vampire Diaries, The Original and Legacies trilogy. Or even Teen Wolf or The 100. Supernatural/Fantasy stuff is always fun.

Hey I am new here and I think you could totally do a watch party on Lucifer! IT has a Little bit of singing but IT IS NOT A MUSICAL. Tom Ellis (Lucifer) is an artist and likes to put a bit of piano and perform but it's more about police work mix with divine things and some comedy. For real I love this show and I think you would too.

I think you should watch SMASH! It only has 2 seasons, but I think it is pretty great. The premise is basically about the making of a broadway musical. Most of the songs in the show are original and the cast is really great.

If you do not do a series with actual singing in the plot how about reacting to the songs that are used in the soundtrack . You could react to them separately after watching an episode. Lots of great tv shows use music brilliantly .

Once Upon A time is really good they have one episode that's musical but it's in the 6 season. But overall really good definitely worth it.

I think Pushing Daisies is a good one. It has a good amount of fantasy and comedy, a balanced amount of singing without being overly cheesy, and of course the impeccable voice talents of Kristin Chenoweth and Ellen Greene.
