After seeing the voting percentage, I’ve decided NOT to move platforms. Hopefully Patreon can get its shit together and make a better platform, but we’ll just work with what we’ve got for now.

————————

I've been unhappy with Patreon's "updates" lately and I wanted to see about changing platforms. I'm looking at another platform that is far more user friendly! It has chat rooms integrated right into the platform so no need for a separate Discord. It also allows for easier upgrades, live events, and just a more social area in general. I can also control the international money conversion so you get the current currency conversion.

However you would need to sign up all over again. That means creating your account and inputing your credit card info.

I want to know in all HONESTY if you would make the move to a new platform. Please be brutally honest! I know the effort to move platforms and input your CC is a pain and many of you wont do it. So I want you to be 100% honest. I need to get some TRUE numbers from this poll please.

*** More info asked in the comments:

1) The new platform is called Mighty Networks

2) We would have our own app

3) Yes you can tailor your notifications so you dont miss anything

4) I would find the current exchange rate from USD to your currency and place THAT as the price for the tier. USD to USD would not change.

5) I will NOT be raising the pricing.

6) I currently use this platform for my Backstage Pass members and they love it!

7) Oh YES all the old content will be transfered over to the new platform before we move so it's seamless.

8) Yes there's a desktop version and app version.

I have no problems switching platforms whatever makes it easier for you as well

Jonathan

I would make the move to still support you but wouldn’t be happy about it unless it provides notifications because I use Patreon for many reactors not just you and Danny and like having your stuff in the feed.

Bianca

Do whatever is necessary to make YOUR life easier for sure just one request please 🤗🤗 same prices if that's possible? Idk how it works but at least close to original price would be awesome. Love your content. Thank you for all the effort you put in

Adam Cowden

I mean I'm not too attached to Patreon since the only other people I support are artists. So if want to change the platform to make your happiness better, I'm all for it. At the end of the day, if you're not happy/enjoying something that helps you produce what you want, then some change might be the answer :)

Odie Kimmell

I'll support you on any platform Darlin!

I use Patreon only because I follow a number of other creators here. I would most likely follow you across, dependent on price point and fees for the new site

Angela Holm

Well, I've had problems with some sites not accepting my (Norwegian) card for some reason, but won't mind changing platforms if possible

Moona

If it works in Europe, I would come there with you. And if the price would stay the same.

Rachel Johnson

One big question for me would be if all the watch parties and videos would come with to the new platform. That is the biggest reason I joined and I love going back to rewatch some of your Glee watch parties!

SlytherinSeph

I subscribe to a couple of other reaction type channels (blind wave, Natalie gold, the normies), and while they all have patreon, 2 of them have their own websites that they host their uncut reactions from, so it’s not too big of an issue for me. Plus, despite not being too active in the comments here or on discord, I do think your content is phenomenal, and def worth the small inconvenience.

adautres

I would make the change but I need that new plateform to work with my Paypal account

heather Phillips

I would make change if old content came with you . I am still catching up lol

Carleen

I'm sorta familiar with mighty networks. I'm a member of an organization that uses it as their own social network platform.

Heida

I have no problem with it as long as all the old videos are there (or I can still come here and watch them). Since I'm a fairly new subscriber I haven't watched all the videos/watch parties. And if the currency would work in all countries. Also, is it only an app or is there a website too? My phone memory is so full I can't download new apps right now! But the fact you're even asking is more than most people.

Triana

Honestly I'm only here because of you, this is not my favourite platform at all, so I'd change it in a heartbeat.

patrick

I'm honestly just worried that I can't subscribe then. There are a lot of websites where you can only subscribe with your credit card and stuff, and I dont have a credit card. I use paypal and I hope I could subscribe with it too, other than that I totally support the move

Zach Davis

I’m comfortable with Patreon and am kinda stubborn but I will follow you, Audrey 😂 What’s this new platform?

Teri

I love your content but I’m very cautious about using my card on random sites.

Cody M

I am familiar with Patreon, so I like it, warts and all. I also like the discord and I bet it is more robust than the chat built into Mighty Networks. However, we could always just use Discord alongside the new one (since there's Discord integration - https://zapier.com/apps/discord/integrations/mightynetworks) Could you provide screenshots of what it looks like? So we can see it? You can upload screenshots to imgur

Teresa Ruiz

I’m kinda iffy when it comes to using my credit card information but if the new platform has a way to use PayPal as I do for here on Patreon than yes I would switch platforms.

Aleshia Bernal

Sorry I don’t have time to read everyone’s questions rn so if this has been asked already I’m sorry. Will I still be able to airplay to my tv? That’s my only issue I don’t like watching on my phone it’s just too small of a screen.

Joshua Davis

I'm good with this but like others, would like PayPal integration.

Ashtara Levin

How secure is Mighty Networks? I currently use Paypal as a 3rd party for my patreon payments and I have no idea if that is supported with Mighty Networks. Also, I am linked already to MN with a community (that does not charge me), does that mean I will have to sign off from them or can you be linked to 2 communities on that platform? I am not opposed to changing the platform, but if I have to sign off from my community in order to do so I will not.

Alex Rogner

I’m good with the move as long as what I’m paying stays the same. I’m only here for your content and will follow wherever you go

Veronica_R_T

I honestly don't feel comfortable changing to a plafroem I've never heard of especially when it comes to giving my card information because I have been scammed one too many times. I understand you need to do what is best for you but if that means moving platforms I will sadly have to end my subscription with it.

Gustavo Rojo-Buendia

I'm going to be honest, I have been paying the $10 a month for the old tier content. I wouldn't want to switch to another platform because then i'll have to pay for the new tiers which would be more expensive. I'm content paying $10 for the old tier and I am grateful for being grandfathered in, but I know that would change. If you tell me that you'd have the same tiers as you did before, then i'd do the move in a heartbeat. This is the tier I am talking about: LIVE CHAT + ALL ACCESS 3 $10/month LIVE CHAT + ALL ACCESS 3 (Movie, TV, Early Release) This tiers gives access to ALL TV Shows and Movies, Early Released Reactions AND Patreon Exclusive Replays. Each month Audrey will go LIVE and react to the paid songs requested within Patreon. All Patrons are invited to join this event, but only this tier and Superfans will be able to watch the replay if they can not make the live event. Get access to my videos the MOMENT they're done editing. I often batch my videos, so you'll get to watch several videos at once instead of waiting days, sometimes WEEKS, for my YouTube release.

Ethan

I wouldn’t have an issue with it, it would just be a change for me as I support all of these creators on patreon so everything is in one place for me. I would for sure have to check out the platform before, but if it has all of your old and new reaction videos plus Paypal integration I will for sure come over

Jennifer Lawrence

I'd follow you to another platform if you found one. I don't use Patreon for much, lol. I was surprised I already had an account. I must have made one years ago and didn't remember. But it's a bit wonky to use. I've noticed sometimes I'll reply to one person's comment but it will show my reply on a different comment. Not sure what's up with that lol. Hopefully, if you do change, you find one that works better!

Linda

I'll follow as well!! just love you.

Koko

I truly support you Audrey and your content since YT, now I am here. So you move, I move. I am only here for you. If you move, I am definitely going with you.
