2019 SNL performances of Lover and False God!

Gary S

Ooh yes! Cornelia Street (Live from Paris) is my favorite and one of her best acoustic performances IMO. Actually all of the performances from that Paris event are amazing, but Cornelia Street is my #1 🥰

I can’t choose one 😭 but here are a few: Marjorie (about her grandmother who was an opera singer) The Moment I Knew (about Jake Gyllenhaal All Too Well is about him too- he was 29 and she was 20 when they dated and she dated Jake after John Mayer) Soon You’ll Get Better (about her moms cancer battle) Ronan (about a 4yr old who died after cancer battle and Taylor read the mother’s blog and used a lot of the lines from the blog for this song and even gave the mom a cowriter credit)

All Too Well (10 Minute Version) SNL Performance from 2021!

I'd actually LOVE to see you listen to a debut track from her! Teardrops On My Guitar is a good one that pretty much everyone knows or has heard the chorus of. If you wanna get full country Taylor from that album she did Picture To Burn and Should've Said No. I love to have people to Tied Together With A Smile or Mary's Song just to show how well she was writing at such a young age. She's definitely improved as you'd expect but she was still writing very good songs that sound like much older people wrote them. I'd also love to see your kinda comparison of how she samg then versus now (she hasn't done a TV for the debut album yet but I know you'd naturally reference the differences in delivery and technique and that'd be super interesting for me)

Even a Frozen Heart Can Melt

Oops accidentally deleted my comment 🤦🏿‍♀️ see below: I would maybe think about doing the All Too Well Grammy rehearsal performance, Ronan (Stand Up 2 Cancer) Cornelia Street (City of Lover), London Boy (BBC Live Lounge), or Holy Ground (BBC Live Lounge or Live Formula 1). I would also suggest doing another music video!

Anything from city of lover which was a performance she did in Paris. She did Cornelia Street, Daylight, Me, You Need To Calm Down. Some of my fave performances. I think Daylight & Cornelia st are my faves from it.

Marjorie (it's a song she wrote for her grandmother Marjorie Finley, who was an opera singer, in the song there's a part where you can hear Marjorie's voice in the background) Long Story Short (from Evermore) No body, no crime feat. HAIM (The Haim sisters are great friends with Taylor and Taylor wrote a fictional story using one of the HAIM sisters as a character, she used Este Haim's name in the song) False God (from Lover) Miss Americana And The Heartbreak Prince (is a protest song that uses a high school imagery to critique the contemporary American political climate; it likens the political scene to a high-school setting), also this song is the reason the documentary has its name, and this is the first song she sings in The Eras Tour. Should've Said No (this is my favorite song from her debut album, it's a little country mixed with a bit of rock) Would've, Could've, Should've (don't know if you reacted to this one yet, it's from Midnights, from the extended version of the album) I could go on forever...

A fun little side video idea for this time of year, I'd love to see you and Danny react to the Swiftmas 2014 video, it's so sweet!

Annie Willow

Carolina - Taylor wrote it after reading “Where the Crawdads Sing” and sent it to Reese Witherspoon who was one of the producers of the movie.

The “Look What You Made Me Do” and “…Ready For It?” Music videos- they are exquisite.

False God - SNL performance All Too Well 10 minute - SNL performance 2019 AMA music awards Artist of the Decade performance (she didn’t even know if she’d get to perform because her old label was not granting her permission to perform the songs they still owned of hers. Because of this the shirt she wears list all of the “stolen” albums they tried to keep her from performing) I Did Something Bad - AMA performance. (This was her first public performance since going into hiding and she did it in front of all the ppl that had been so nasty to her) The Man music video and the behind the scenes of it. Mary J Blige and Taylor doing Doubt together on the 1989 tour Soon You’ll Get Better - from the together at home concert during covid (song is about her moms battle with cancer. Before covid she has said she’d never perform it live) Ronan from the album RedTV - (about a 4yr old boy who died from cancer. Taylor had read his mom’s blog and reached out to her, she took what the mom had written in the blog and turned it into a song giving the mom writing credits. She has performed it once at a stand up to cancer concert and then I think one other time when the mom was at a concert, she doesn’t perform it without asking Ronans mom first) Holy Ground - from the Live Lounge performance Look What You Made Me Do music videos (full of Easter eggs about Kanye and Kim among other things) Forever Winter - off of RedTV (about high school friend that she was close to who committed suicide)

Jed McGowan

Soon you’ll get better! She has only performed it live once I believe for charity. You are most definitely going to cry though 🤣

You need too react too when she sang „End Game“ as an Surprise song on the Eras Tour it’s so good and is special for her because her new partner Travis Kelce was there too watch her and they have big reputations and are a big conversation.❤️
