Omg I’ve been waiting for this! I’m going to start watching in like 5 minutes but wanted to comment right away lol

Liv Heskett

Just came to say that you’ve been looking snatched af in your recent videos.

Abigail

Ahhh I'm am so happy. I love starkid productions so much. GO NIGHTHAWKS!

SongsFromASuitcase

Liv! You're welcome to stay here forever! haha! could use the compliments. Been feeling really old lately

Alexandra

Okay now that I’ve watched your reaction, I have some info! First, thank you again Larka, you are the best, truly. Second, their voices are a little cleaned up for this but this is essentially what they sounded like live! I bought their digital ticket, which was just filmed from a single camera in the crowd during one of their earlier shows and it sounds basically the same! They’ve definitely improved since they did The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals (2018) but their improvement from their very first show in 2009 (A Very Potter Musical) is absolutely insane. They always know they’re going to be putting a majority of their shows on YouTube but they do rely heavily on Kickstarter donations to fund their musicals - the more that’s donated, the better quality the overall production will be. You have actually seen Mariah (Stephanie) in TGWDLM - she played Alice, Bill’s daughter. But she has improved a lot and does look very different in this. In the Hatchettown song, the YouTube version and the live version are actually a little different because in YouTube they were able to add some pick up shots of characters from their connected online series, Nightmare Time so all the little scenes that look like cut aways actually are cut aways lol For their songs, a lot of them were filmed outside of the live performances so the people singing weren’t drowned out too much by the crowd because I think that’s a bit of a complaint they get, and it’s also so they can film really close up for the YouTube edit, which they can’t do in the live shows Anyways, phenomenal reaction as usual, loved it!

You're so NOT looking old! My minor in psychology, 23 out of my 37 yrs. of life in therapy, and just a bit of common sense tell me it could be your subconscious coming to the forefront due to your very recent birthday. But, you look hot 🔥, Sis. LEGIT! And you know I say exactly what I think/feel, so what comes from me is TRUTH 💯!

✨Megan✨

And Liv is awesome! I approve! 😆😂🤣

✨Megan✨

Lol! Cool, I'm not alone! 😆 I do this often on her videos. Then I'll come back later and watch it with my recap of answers I may have to questions she's asked if no one has answered them yet, and any other comments that came to mind. 😊

Jennifer Lawrence

Me too. It's been a while since I've dyed my hair so it's entirely possible they've been around longer than I know, but, I've started finding white hairs. 😢 I know some people can rock white/grey hair and look gorgeous in it. But, I'm just not ready yet.

Alexandra

Starkid is one of my big things that I don’t think I’ll ever be done with so I become obsessed with it - but I don’t really have any friends that like them so I watch people react to them and am filled with joy when they like it! Definitely not alone (accidental starkid references are great lol) though!

Kaitlyn L

So excited to watch this! I had the amazing opportunity to see it live opening night and I can't wait to see your thoughts on this production :D

SongsFromASuitcase

I have almost 50% grey hair. Started in my early 20s. I figure I always dye my hair anyways so I’m happy to have hair.

SongsFromASuitcase

My face has drooped and I’ve gained weight fast since my hysterectomy a year ago. I look like over aged ten years in the past year. Gimmie my youth back!!!

Tiffany T

Alright y'all, who is taking one for the team and requesting Twisted

Tiffany Torres

omg I love the actress who played grace! Her name is Angela Giarratan !! She's so freaking funny. I only recently discovered her from her current work on SMOSH

Tessa Gattullo

Angela is the reason I came back to Smosh! I love her so much!

Tiffany Torres

sooo i had heard of this production through watching Angela on smosh so I had never seen this show until right now. I have never seen the previous two. I wasn't completely lost but there were a few points in time where the audience or you were reacting to "random things" that now i realize were because it related to the previous two. i was also wondering if you have posted a watch party for the previous two or did you just watched them off patreon /youtube and talk about them?

Jeanette Dawe

I'm obsessed with her lol She i hilarious and so talented.

Jeanette Dawe

She should react to the musical episode of TNTL lmao it was so funny lol

Turnip Crazy

She did react to the other ones on patreon. The other musicals are The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals, and Black Friday. Both reactions are up on patreon.

Alexis

i love Angela!!! i never heard of this until now but i love it

Laura

Oh man this show! I don’t know if anyone’s talked about it but this show has a lot of references to a lot of other stories on the same YouTube channel, called Nightmare Time. That was a mini-series where we met lots of characters, including Steph and Pete from this show, for the first time. It gives a lot of context to this show and makes the Lords In Black reveal way more fun. This show is Joey (Pete - the main nerdy guy)’s best show in my opinion, he’s improved so much since his first show, especially in his singing. I can’t get over how good everyone is in this one, but especially him! Thank you so much for reacting to this show and finishing the trilogy, it’s one of my favourites and I’m so glad you watched it. There are so many more awesome Starkid shows if you ever want to watch them, but this video made me so happy <3

tomatopudding

Just to say since nobody has already, Mariah Rose Faith, who plays Steph, was Regina George in the first national tour of Mean Girls so you’re totally right about the style of music her voice is well suited for! Her being on tour with Mean Girls was the reason why she couldn’t be in Black Friday, since the two were happening at the same time. Jon Matteson (Richie) went above and beyond taking voice lessons since playing Paul in TGWDLM and it really shows. The bit in the title song where he sings “I’m not a loser” is probably one of my favorite music moments in the show. It just activates a happy place in my brain.

Hridayinee

Your fave actor in this is actually Ron in A Very Potter Musical. Starkids most popular musical with Darren Criss as Harry. Have you reacted to it yet? I hadn't seen Nerdy Prudes before but have seen and enjoyed most of Starkids musicals. Thx for reacting to this one, I'm halfway through watching it with you now. Cool!

Miranda

I havent finished the video yet but I agree, angela's (grace) singing has never been the strongest but I love her acting especially when she's in a comedic role!

Will

There is actually a Reprise-Redo of The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals.... ask and you shall receive! :-)
