Omg I love this movie!!!!

Jennifer Lawrence

This movie had quite a chokehold on me when it first came out, lol. But now I haven't seen it in years. It'll be fun to rewatch and see how I feel about it now

Rebecca Karsner

You literally just made my day!! I freaking love this movie!! Now I really can't wait to get off of work!!! 🙌😁

The female lead in this is Evan Rachel Wood who has been friends with Darren Criss for years (they did a funny or die 'Big' parody clip in 2014) and together they are the current leads in 'Little Shop of Horrors' on Broadway. And yes, you know her from 'Trueblood' and 'Westworld'. She and the male lead, Jim Sturgess, are both musicians as well. ( Jim Sturgess - Heartless https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYEV3xLArTQ EVAN + ZANE - White Rabbit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptyNj-fpzyQ ) When the older guy was singing 'Come Together' and I saw his hand movements I immediately thought Joe Cocker. Had to look it up though, to be sure they didn't just have someone who sounded like him do his signature moves as well. 😅 I actually had to laugh at how well Bono's typical tinted glasses fit his role in this film. 😎 And yes, the nurse is Salma Hayek. She looks younger because the film was shot in 2005 or 2006.

Don’t apologize for getting emotional!! The story is supposed to get you emotional!!

Rebecca Karsner

Rebecca Karsner

Just finished watching and just want to say that this was such a a fun watch! I'm so glad you enjoyed this movie! They are all talented singers! That Let it Be scene makes me cry every time I watch it! You should definitely check out some videos of Evan Rachel Wood singing.. she is really amazing! She's also an amazing actress.. I highly recommend checking out her film Kajillionaire.. her performance is heartbreaking, funny and beautiful! Thanks again for the reaction and for the Patreon who paid for the request! 🙌

As a french canadian, child of caribbean parents, The beattles were not really played in the house. Obviously I knew of them, but haven't really listened to their music until I watched this movie and even more after the glee episodes years later. It was nice to watch it again! 🙂

I knew I loved this movie, but I hadn't seen it in a long time and you know? I kinda forgot quite how much I love this movie. Jim Sturgess is the damn sexiest man alive in this movie, which is weird because he's left me a little cold in everything else. Also, Westworld ain't coming back, so I need to know why I'm not seeing more new stuff with Evan Rachel Wood on my screen. Also, that was 100% Salma Hayek. Actually I guess it was more like 500% Salma Hayek. She looks younger because the movie is 17 years old.

Thanks a lot to the Patreon who paid for this reaction I was really hoping you'll do a watch party!? I was obsessed with this movie when I was younger and I didn't watch this for a long time. Now it feels so good to rediscover it through your eyes :) love so many numbers in it.

I just watched this and just had so much fun rewatching this with you. So a lot of those soloists who were not part of the main cast are famous cameos. Like Bono, Joe Cocker and Eddie Izzard. That weird middle section at the camp in the woods was supposed to just simulate an acid trip and a comedown. This is one of my favorite movies. The singing is sooo good. But like real and raw which I love. The art is just insane. Like everything just looks so beautiful. Really glad you enjoyed it

This was literally my favorite movie for a very long time and I still love it! I still listen to the soundtrack out and about because I love all of the actor’s voices

Literally my first video to watch on your patreon(I’ve followed you on YouTube for a while) and I think I picked the perfect first one. Not only do YOU have such a good message throughout, but I use to watch it all the time in high school when it came out but I never really “understood” it like I did watching this video tonight. Thank you.
