Hey everyone!

I'm back and I quickly started working on the last Cozy Cabin set, the bedroom. Although I love this theme I am so excited to continue with something new next month! On tumblr I spoiled a little earlier what ideas I have but let me tell you, for the next set after this one I'm planning to make items for a commercial lot! It might will have more parts but not as many as the Cozy Cabin collection. I'll update you on that one when I start brainstroming on it.

But back to the set I'm actually working on at the moment. I started with the main furniture a bedroom should have: a bed. I wanted a little rustic, a little elegant, a lot fluffy, comfortable and inviting. Altough I don't like when sims clip with objects I just can't watch the beds being so empty with two, lonely pillows so I definitely made three other deco pillows which will be a separate object and you can use it if you feel the same way as me.

If you have anything you would like to see in this set, let me know! I have some ideas but I'd like to make objects you'd like to see the most. Thank you!

Thank you! I want to make other series like this. I enjoyed telling a story through the months with different sets with the same theme and style. I wanted to start on this new one next but I got excited about another idea so I want to make that first!

VALIA

Thank you! Couldn't leave out a bedroom set. Although I now feel sad that I won't be doing a kitchen and bathroom but I just want to move forward and try out different styles as well.

VALIA

Hey, yes I'm using Blender for that too! Sometimes I use the cloth simulation with lower polycount so it won't look so alpha and modifying the result with sculpting. In this case I just modeled the blankets and sculpted on them.

VALIA

Thank you! I hope I could live up to your dream house's standards :D

VALIA

Thank you! I did too! It gave me a thrill to plan everything so it matches the season. Also helped me a lot to find out what styles I love to do the most.

Hi! New member here. I just randomly found you after looking for more MM creators, and omg you are astounding. I've been following wantzamora for over a year now, and seeing that you we're able to recreate his tree was so surprising and awesome. Because of this series, I want to start a new family who live in a luxurious mountain lodge. If I may ask, what is the set/home you used in WIP #34, #35, & #3, and is it on the gallery? I love your work and want to start creating CC of my own one day. If you'd ever consider teaching me for an hour or a bit so I can find my feet I'd be willing to pay! :)

VALIA

I can't recommend a specific tutorial, I usually just search on Youtube, for example how to make a pillow, there are a bunch of videos, they teach you the technique and I try to learn these skills and use them in a way to fit what I'm trying to achieve. I suggest you try some out and experiment with it. For the Sims you don't have to make realistic folds and fabric (unless you want to) so you can use the sculpting mode too for these types of things.

VALIA

Thank you so much! I loved his tree the moment I saw it and I wasn't even making cc then. His style is so unique! For your question about the build from the WIPs, I have to disappoint you, because I just build a big rectangle and put some windows on it. :D I usually just have a vision in mind how I want the rooms to look like, what angle I want the picture from so I build and furnish that one corner. I'm happy to help, but I cannot promise you to teach you. I can give some tips and advice though on how to start, what you'll need to know, for free of course!

Hi Valia! I was wondering if you could DM me as I have another question about this but don't really want it to be public? Is that okay to do on Patreon, or I could DM your Instagram? Let me know, thank you in advance! :)

VALIA

Hey, yes of course! Either is good for me, what's more comfortable for you.

Thanks so much, I don't actually know how to start a DM on patreon with you haha, maybe you could DM me? If not, my Instagram I'll DM you on Instagram too :)
