Hey everyone!

I'm here with the first wip photo of the new set and new theme I started working on! This time, my idea is a little mix of different styles, and I’ll try my best to explain what I’m aiming for. It seems like at the start of every summer, I get into a really Mediterranean mood, I mean last year at the exaxt same time I made the Mediterranean build set. :D

My idea started a little different than this but I can't help it, I just feel really inspired by this style. So I mixed my original idea with the Mediterranean style.

I originally wanted to do a boho-themed set with multiple parts, similar to the Cozy Cabin Collection, but I felt like it needed something extra and I wasn’t sure what that would be. I knew I wanted to include nature and maybe even gardening.

Then I came across all these beautiful images from Mallorca and Ibiza, and they featured so many rattan furniture which I had already planned to make for the boho theme. That’s when I decided, I could blend the two styles and create a Mediterranean-inspired set with boho elements. And of course, gardening.

These sets will feel very personal to me, like most of my CC, they reflect things I’d actually love to have in my own home. The subtle Mediterranean vibe, the cozy boho touches, and all the plants, I feel that's what I'd love my future home to be.

I promise this first set won't be only doors and windows. :D I know that’s not the most exciting stuff, so I’m planning to combine them with a patio set and include some furniture you can actually use outdoors. I also want to create a gardening table or whatever it’s called in the game. :D

I thought it could be a fun idea because most gardening CC I’ve seen tends to be farmhouse-style, which I do love, but I think it might be interesting to see gardening items in a different aesthetic.

Thank you for reading this long ass post! I hope you're excited for this new theme, cause I plan to make a bathroom, kitchen, living room for sure. And I’ve also been thinking about possibly making new bougainvillea plants—because let’s be honest, the ones in the game just don’t do them justice! I absolutely love them in real life. I see them everywhere around here and they’re just breathtaking, like something out of another world. And then... there are the in-game ones. They would definitely fit into this first set, but I actually have something else planned. So if I end up making them, it’ll have to be a little later. Still, I wanted to throw the idea out there, let me know if you’d be interested in seeing new bougainvillea plants.

Have a nice day/night!

kheira

Yes! yes! the Mediterranean build set you made last year is my favorite, I use it all the time. And I'm loving what you already have, it's a beautiful door.

kheira

And I'm very much interested in seeing a new bougainvillea, I also love those plants. I live in CA and they're everywhere here too.

Emilie Haugaard

ohmygod, please make flooring and doors that match on the inside. I love it!

Aha

I hope there will be glass doors, the same size as the entrance door 😶‍🌫️😶‍🌫️

THANK YOU!! I'm trying to build Ibiza right now so anything else that you feel inspired to make in this style would be SO appreciated! Yes to new bougainvillea!

Katharina

I love this. I'm trying to make a build in the eclectic style of mexico and this would be perfect for it

Sim Siili

Yes, I love the blinds and use them all the time!

Nasnookla

I love when doors have the added lock detail on them waaaa, it just makes me so happy 🥳💗

StellaRosa

Absolutely gorgeous!

Beautiful as always! It actually reminded me of the buildings of the Dorado map in overwatch that has this mexican-style town architecture. So lovely.

VALIA

Thank you! I totally agree about the Mediterranean style. I hoped my dear followers would be on the same page cause I just love it!

VALIA

Thank you! I spent a couple of hours to achieve a result I liked. I'll add some "clean" swatches as well. Also some vibrant colors. But not as overly vibrant like the in-game colors. :D

VALIA

Thank you, that's so nice of you! I'm so happy you like my work.

VALIA

Thanks soo much, that's really generous of you! You can expect lots of rattan furniture, a little bit of colonial style and plants.

VALIA

Thank you both of you! I appreciate you're liking that set of mine. It was so long ago, I feel I do much better cc now than a year ago, I'm always surprised when someone tells me they like my old sets. :D But I'm really thankful at the same time.

VALIA

I plan to make yes, I need to figure out how they will look like but I want to make some opened versions as well.

VALIA

Yay what a coincidence! I love the Ibiza vibes. The slight "desert-y" interior with rattan accents. That's what I want to include in my sets with some boho elements.

VALIA

That's so good, I'll add some colorful swatches too that will fit that style.

VALIA

Oooh, I haven't even shown the inside view, I made a whole barrel bolt on the door.

VALIA

Thank you! I checked it out and I can see why you say that. Although Overwatch looks way better. :D

Nasnookla

You’re spoiling us!! 🥳💗

Ariel Stratza

Only as a whole, because I have that Overwatch map, and it's all very simple and without much detail, as the textures are plain and get the detail from overlaid effects. On the other hand, a hand-painted texture as you had made for the door is exquisite, with faded paint, exposed edges, and those aged bronze door knobs. Chef kiss. I believe that hand-painted textures are way superior to the rendered light textures, which are ok if you are mass-producing something, but they fall very flat in the long run as they are generic and forgettable
