WIP #65 (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

I'm coming with a new WIP post to show you what I've started working on. In the first few days I took some time off from the CC and I worked some on my new tumblr theme because I want my page look a lot more professional and I want to list all my downloads in one place for easier access.

So, the first item for the next set (the second part of the Sunwoven Collection) is this awning. I wanted to create something that could provide some shade in the hot sun. As I mentioned earlier, I’m bringing a bit of a boho vibe into this collection, so I made the awning from a macramé-like material.

It took quite a bit of time because I modeled the threads to mimic real macramé knots, and I had to figure out how they’re actually tied in real life. The columns in the pictures are from the game. I designed the awning without columns so you can place it anywhere on a wall and use your own columns (or none at all).

I also made sure they’re modular, so you can place multiple awnings side by side. I think they’d look great on a beach or at a wedding venue!

Now I want to make some plant and flowers! Since I plan to publish the next set after the new expansion comes out, I’d like to see if it includes any new functional gardening items. If it does, I might create my own versions to match the style of this collection. I'm hoping we get a base game update with a gardening overhaul before that.
