Hey everyone!

As I mentioned in my last post, life has been a little chaotic lately, but I finally got some time to get back to working on this set this weekend!

As you can see, I made a new swatch for the little playhouse because I wanted to see how it would look in different colors. I usually leave all the swatches until the very end, but I really wanted to try this one out. I also added glass to the windows and finished up the texture.

I also made a swing! I wanted to make a single swing because I think it's much more suitable for a residential home without making your garden look like a playground. I wanted to give it a little Victorian touch, so I went with an iron frame and added some ivy to it. Sadly, I couldn't figure out how to make the ivy change color with the seasons, but I think it's okay since ivy can stay green during winter anyway, so it doesn't look too out of place.

I still have a few more things to make, including a kiddie pool and a little bookshelf for the playhouse, but I'm really happy to be back after such an intense week.

I'm really excited to finish this set because I already have some cool ideas in my head for what's next. Things I probably would have made for this set before I went with the kids items.. I can't wait to work on them, though! I think they'll look really good with the house and fit the Victorian theme perfectly.

You make some of the best cc for the Sims. Thank you so much for sharing them.

The single swing is such a thoughtful choice—the Victorian details look beautiful!

Petra Nestmann

wooow , that's so beautiful as always , thank you so much

Love the single swing! Could you maybe separate the ivy into it's own decorative piece, and that way give it its own autumn/seasonal swatches? I personally would prefer a swingset without greenery attached to it anyway, but I understand that it creates more work for you.

I may be wrong but there are currently no differences between adult and child swings as they use the same height and objects. You should be able to use it.

This is sooo adorable! 🥰

I thought about it too but I don't want to make too many "unuseful" items. The ivy's shape is too specific so it couldn't be useful in other scenarios, it would only clutter up the catalog.

VALIA

Yes, K's right! Adults can use the swings too!

Thank you so much!

Thank you! Hopefully this weekend I'll finish this set!

I was thinking porch swing! Because that would be amazing but good to know either way!

VALIA

I potentionally do a porch swing for the next set but that would only function as a seating option.
