Hi again! It's me with a fun new release! Today's release is a Cinco de Mayo Pack requested by my mom about a week ago for a Cinco de Mayo party. I really enjoyed designing this pack and hope you love it as much as I do! The release includes a margarita (which may have been created while drinking a Margarita) and a decorated skull!

The margarita is a double clicker design where both the drink and lime are clicky! The lime includes two different lime styles, with each style having both a flat and raised version! There is something about the feel of the raised clickers that I really enjoy! 🍹

The skull has two designs. A decorated skull to be extra festive, and a normal skull if you're looking for something more spooky! I know this is more of a Day of the Dead kind of thing but I think it fits with Cinco De Mayo as well! πŸ’€

Like most of my designs, this is a clicky design that requires a mechanical keyboard switch to make the clicky part. These models have been tested with Kailh Bronze, White, Jade and White V2 clickers and the White clickers are my preferred option. I have an up to date list of verified clickers with links you can find HERE. This design should be compatible with most MX style keyboard switches, however, the two metal contacts on the bottom of the switch must be clipped off flush (or folded over) to ensure the switch seats properly in the base (this is a destructive process). A 7mm keyring file is included as well as a larger, 3.5mm diameter keyring hole to allow a beaded chain to be used!

This pack contains a flat margarita (drink) cap and 4 options for lime caps (2 designs with a flat and raised option. The skull contains 1 decorated cap, 1 normal skull cap and base.. The bases are provided with the standard keychain configurations, none, 7mm and 3.5 diameter keyring.

(all flat caps are saved as .3mf only)

3D Printing Settings:

Layer Height: 0.2mm (recommended)

External Perimeter (Outer Wall): 0.33mm (recommended)

Scale: 100% (Everything is modeled with tight tolerances and should not need to be resized)

Orientation: Print the caps face down so you have a smooth surface for clicking! (recommended for flat)

NOTE: I've found the best way to get the most crisp details on these clickers is to start with the smallest details first and work up from there. Here is the order I recommend after LOTS of trial and error:

Accent Color (Lime insides)

Black (Eyes, nose mouth)

Everything else (base colors)

I've also found hitting the print with a heat gun right before the main body color starts printing will eliminate any little strings that can cause blemishes on the final design.

⚠️WARNING⚠️ - This pack requires very good bed adhesion to ensure the best possible results for your finished clicker. It is recommended to clean your bed with soap and water before printing or whatever your specific printer manufacturer recommends for a deep bed clean!

Stay Pawsitive! 🐾

Adding the skulls to my "Halloween Goodie Bag" print folder for the trick or treaters. Can't wait to make some with glow in the dark filament. <3

Love it! For some reason I thought you might like this one…

Escrich

Any chance to get you these back for Halloween?, That sugar skull is great

Pawpular Prints

Hi Escrich! Unfortunately, we do not have any plans on bringing back archived designs at this time. This pack is available for purchase on MMyMiniFactory and Cults3D and there is a 20% discount code available on Discord in the #discount_codes channel.

Escrich

Understood, thank you for your reply!

Andrea DeJong

Were 2 AMS used for these or am I missing something?

Pawpular Prints

The sugar skulls were done with manual color changes on a MK3S for the first 2 layers.

Are there pauses added? I'm not familiar with how to do this

Pawpular Prints

There are not pauses added, it was a very manual process. I've been meaning to make a video on how to do it but haven't had time yet. For now, you're probably best off doing them in 4 color :(
