Hi friends! I come to you with another release! This is a simple single clicker beehive shape with a bee. Every so often I like to throw a release out that has a little bit of meaning specific to Nick, myself, or our lives and seeing that we live in the state referred to as 'the beehive state,' some sort of hive or bee clicker only seemed fitting! Plus bees are cute enough I'm hoping the bee enthusiasts out there will enjoy. This might be the only way I'll ever willingly come into contact with a bee! 🐝

Like most of my designs, this is a clicky design that requires a mechanical keyboard switch to make the clicky part. These models have been tested with both the Kailh Bronze and Kailh White clickers but the White clickers are much nicer in my opinion. I did also try the Kailh White V2 and Kailh Jade switches and they work just as well as the White/Bronze but they are a bit pricier. This design should be compatible with most MX style keyboard switches, however, the two metal contacts on the bottom of the switch must be clipped off flush (or folded over) to ensure the switch seats properly in the base (this is a destructive process). A 7mm keyring file is included as well as a larger, 3.5mm diameter keyring hole to allow a beaded chain to be used!

3D Printing Settings:

Layer Height: 0.2mm (recommended)

External Perimeter (Outer Wall): 0.33mm (recommended)

Scale: 100% (Everything is modeled with tight tolerances and should not need to be resized)

Orientation: Print the caps face down so you have a smooth surface for clicking! (recommended for flat)

NOTE: I've found the best way to get the most crisp details on these clickers is to start with the smallest details first and work up from there. Here is the order I recommend after LOTS of trial and error:

Black (outlines)

White (wings)

Yellow (stripes)

Everything else (base colors)

I've also found hitting the print with a heat gun right before the main body color starts printing will eliminate any little strings that can cause blemishes on the final design.

⚠️WARNING⚠️ - This pack requires very good bed adhesion to ensure the best possible results for your finished clicker. It is recommended to clean your bed with soap and water before printing or whatever your specific printer manufacturer recommends for a deep bed clean!
