Hi Pawsitive Peoples! We've gotten quite a few members lately and I just wanted to welcome you all and thank you for the support! I'm so excited to share today's release! As someone who's dabbled in a variety of sports throughout my life, I've wanted to do something for our sport lovers for a while. With the upcoming Olympics it seemed like the perfect opportunity to prioritize those designs! This first pack of sports clickers includes a variety of popular sports balls! I had tons of fun designing these and hope you have some fun printing these as well! ⚽🏀⚾🏉🎱🏐

Like most of my designs, this is a clicky design that requires a mechanical keyboard switch to make the clicky part. These models have been tested with both the Kailh Bronze and Kailh White clickers but the White clickers are much nicer in my opinion. I did also try the Kailh White V2 and Kailh Jade switches and they work just as well as the White/Bronze but they are a bit pricier. This design should be compatible with most MX style keyboard switches, however, the two metal contacts on the bottom of the switch must be clipped off flush (or folded over) to ensure the switch seats properly in the base (this is a destructive process). A 7mm keyring file is included as well as a larger, 3.5mm diameter keyring hole to allow a beaded chain to be used!

This pack contains 7 different clicker caps and 2 unique base designs giving a total of 7 different clickers! There is also a bonus 8-ball clicker cap that is not pictured bringing to total to 8 designs!

3D Printing Settings:

Layer Height: 0.2mm (recommended)

External Perimeter (Outer Wall): 0.33mm (recommended)

Scale: 100% (Everything is modeled with tight tolerances and should not need to be resized)

Orientation: Print the caps face down so you have a smooth surface for clicking! (recommended for flat)

NOTE (flat clickers only): I've found the best way to get the most crisp details on these clickers is to start with the smallest details first and work up from there. Here is the order I recommend after LOTS of trial and error:

⚠️WARNING⚠️ - This pack requires very good bed adhesion to ensure the best possible results for your finished clicker. It is recommended to clean your bed with soap and water before printing or whatever your specific printer manufacturer recommends for a deep bed clean!

We downloaded these files from Cults 3D but the files contain multiple objects positioned at multiple heights instead of considering them as multiple objects. The caps are all coming over and it is asking us if we want to resize them because they are too small and then it shows them as multiple pieces.

Are these updated with the universal bases yet? I want to purchase the file, but my switches don't fit the old bases.

I am new to 3D printing. I was looking for a softball to give to my sons' team mates. Found this on Cults to purchase for private use. I was going to download it but thought if any of the other teams liked them I might be able to sell some. But I don't see a way to do commercial of this. Is it available in Patreon prints if I sign up. Not sure how archive works but it doesn't look like it and right now that is the only thing I am looking for. Thanks.

Commercial rights are only available through patreon but the rights apply to all models including archived, free, and all 50+ packs that come with the subscription. This particular pack is archived and would need to be purchased on mmf or cults, but there will be a 50% member discount in a week or so (when we release another sports themed pack and updates to this pack 🤫 - with raised options, our universal base, and the stitches of the baseball/softball reversed as we’ve been informed they should be!). Hope that answers some of your questions!?

Thank you for the quick response. I bought the personal use one because I was hoping to give them to the team tonight for their first game. The print of the baseball, which I colored like a softball, turned out great. I don't know if I have tall clickers though. It fit in great but it raises the top above the base about a quarter inch. Works perfect but I with it were more even but it might be my clickers. If I join later on as commercial, since I already bought the personal use one, can I then sell these or would I need to repurchase it again? I have never sold anything so I don't really know how it all works. Thanks again.

Yes! If you join later on you would be able to sell these - no need to purchase the model again. And about the clickers: did you cut the metal leads down? And do you have discord at all if you’d like help troubleshooting (cuz you can actually send photos)? That base works best with kailh brand switches, but the update will work with most styles our there - and you’ll have access to the update for free as well since you’ve already purchased!

I don't know what happened. I tried a different clicker but when I put the first one back in, it fit perfectly. So i am good. I am not on discord. I may try later. But for now I am so good and happy with the clicker.
