Hi! It's me again!!!

I am generally someone who although Christmas is my focus for the solid month of December I often am also adamant that I don't start Christmas until after Thanksgiving. Starting this 3D Design gig, I realized that had to change so... as promised it's time for some wintery holiday vibes! I've had quite the list of suggestions and decided to kick of the winter holiday season with some adorable gingerbread themed clickers! I don't know about your traditions, but one of my favorite holiday traditions has always been family cookie baking! We make a weekend of it and end up with 15-20 different types of cookies and candies. Our cookie baking extravaganza always includes gingerbread cookies and I thought they could make some pretty darn cute clickers! I am not the greatest at decorating the actual cookies, but I am quite happy with how my decorated Gingersnap pack have turned out! I had tons of fun with these and have loved showing them off! I hope you love them too!!! πŸ‘¨β€πŸ¦°πŸ‘©β€πŸ¦°πŸž

Ginger Snaps Multi-Pack can be found HERE!

Like most of my designs, this is a clicky design that requires a mechanical keyboard switch to make the clicky part. These models feature a universal base design which has been tested with many keyboard switches and 99% of them work! I have an up to date list of verified clickers with links you can find HERE. This design should be compatible with most MX style keyboard switches, however, the two metal contacts on the bottom of the switch must be clipped off flush (or folded over) to ensure the switch seats properly in the base (this is a destructive process).  A 7mm keyring file is included as well as a larger, 3.5mm diameter keyring hole to allow a beaded chain to be used!

This pack contains 2 unique base shapes. There are 12 unique faces for the generic gingerbread base and 9 unique faces for the gingerbread with dress base design for a total of 21 unique clickers! Each base comes in the standard 7mm, 3.5mm diameter and blank keychain configuration.

3D Printing Settings:

Layer Height: 0.2mm (recommended)

External Perimeter (Outer Wall): 0.33mm (recommended)

Scale: 100% (Everything is modeled with tight tolerances and should not need to be resized)

Orientation: Print the caps face down so you have a smooth surface for clicking! (recommended for flat)

NOTE: I've found the best way to get the most crisp details on these clickers is to start with the smallest details first and work up from there. Here is the order I recommend after LOTS of trial and error:

Small Detail (Eyes, Mouth, Bows, Buttons, Frosting)

Larger Details (Overalls, Dresses)

Everything else (Base Colors)

I've also found hitting the print with a heat gun right before the main body color starts printing will eliminate any little strings that can cause blemishes on the final design.

⚠️WARNING⚠️ - This pack requires very good bed adhesion to ensure the best possible results for your finished clicker. It is recommended to clean your bed with soap and water before printing or whatever your specific printer manufacturer recommends for a deep bed clean!

Stay Pawsitive! 🐾

Do you know when you will have your clicky parts back in stock?? These are darling!!

Giamarie Saponaro

Thank you for letting me know. I am now one of your new Patreon members and I cant wait to start making your clickies!! Thank you for everything you do!

Escrich

What a fantasy!

Giamarie Saponaro

What is the wall setting set for? Are they all the same?

Pawpular Prints

I'm not sure what you're referring to but maybe you're talking about the 0.33mm outer wall thickness? This is just to make sure you get 2 full outer layers on that center post to make it as strong as possible!

Pawpular Prints

I am so happy you found the raised ones! I meant to make it known they were they! I appreciated the request for more raised ones because it allowed me to add them in quick before we released these guys! If you have any issues of other models you think would work well raised let me know and we’ll do what we can to add those options in!

Shelbys Treasures

Hello, where do you buy clickers? I have looked on amazon but not sure what to search for 😩

Pawpular Prints

Hi Jordan! Check out this link: https://www.patreon.com/posts/clicker-108006774 This is the pinned post on Patreon so it should be at the very top. I have links to multiple sources of clickers around the world. I also sell my own style of clickers called a Pawper but I am sold out and expecting a restock in about 3 weeks! Let me know if you need any other help finding clickers in your area!

Shelbys Treasures

Thanks! I seen the post after I sent this, moment of stupidity hahaha Love your work!

Jennifer Johns

I'm so excited to have found your designs!! I bought a couple to see my friend reactions and they have been a huge hit!!!

Becky Webb

If I become a patron, do I have to chose which welcome pack I get or do I have no choice except the gingies?

Pawpular Prints

Hi Becky! All Patron Members get access to the entire Welcome Pack collection as well as the entire Patreon Exclusive collection as well as this months and the previous months exclusive designs! The only designs you won't have access to are designs in the Archive collection but those can be purchased individually from MyMiniFactory or Cults3D. There is also a 20% discount code for all active Patrons in the Discord so you can catch up on archived designs! Hope this helps!

Pawpular Prints

Yes they do! But only in the new base design. That's the Ginger Snaps and Leaf Lovers. I'll be going back and updating ppast designs with the new base here soon!

Denise Allen (SunflowerSky3D)

Awesome! Wil you be making a post when the other files are updated? I am really wanting to make the cupcake one but all I have is the gateron switches.

Is there a raised one that is pre painted or separated into individual objects so they paint easier? The Fill tool works on some but things like the scarfs and pants don't and I'm Not sure without the source files if I will be able to manually paint them well enough to come out.

Blue

For Example the suspenders are just impossible to color the way you have them with the paint tool unless they are a separate object from the pants. Even with great care the triangles don't end flat at the pants so it looks bad when printed. Love these by the way and just really want to get them right.

Pawpular Prints

I'm not sure what slicer you are using but if you are using Bambu, there is a 'Smart fill angle' slider bar under the Fill tool when coloring. This determines the angle threshold between triangles to paint in one click. You can change this by moving the slider bar or by holding CTRL and using the mouse wheel up/down on a Windows machine. If I set this to 19, I can select the scarf and any other detail on the Ginger Snaps just fine! This setting is also called 'Smart fill angle' in Prusa slicer.

Andrea Olenak

I sent to your in-box regarding this

Blue

This works for some but as I mentioned I can't get any number to work where the suspenders and pants are separate colors. If I paint the suspenders manually even zoomed into the entire screen to make sure I do it right it looks horrible as the triangles cross between the suspenders and the pants so it results in jagged painting. There is also no angle between the suspenders and the pants so there is no angle setting that will work.

Hi! I’m sorry you are having these issues. Have you tried printing and painting the flat ones at all? The flat ones were intended to be printed on multicolor printers and the raised ones were honestly a last minute addition upon request, intended for singled color printers. The raised version offers options for easier color changes at a layer for 2 color prints or easier painting by hand with the raised features. We didn't really create the raised ones with the intention of coloring each raised portion different colors and with the multiple variants we offer, I am hoping you can find something that will work for you? I wish I could help, but I don’t know how we can really offer more variants without it limiting the amount of new models produced each month.

Blue

Thanks for the reply. I think I may have just been confused because I'm new. I assumed the raised versions of the clickers were the preferred method of printing them so I was trying to do that. After trying both now I prefer the feel of the non raised versions, though for the snowflakes I think it looks a world better raised but the feel isn't as nice. I get the need to not offer multiple versions. To be honest I don't have a preference for which ones you offer as all my printers are multicolor I just was new, didn't understand and was trying to offer the premium version. Thank you for the insite.

Pawpular Prints

Totally get you! I’m so glad you got it working! We print both versions depending on the model but the raised we’re offering for models we wouldn’t have otherwise because those with single color printers have asked - early models on have flat options! I prefer the flat in most cases as well and we tend to offer more flat options than raised as some details just won’t look as good raised! If you have any other issues or questions don’t be afraid to reach out!

LuckySpoon

I actually prefer the raised ones even for multi-color printing and especially for this where the white lines are icing that would be drawn on top if the cookies. They were very easily painted in the slicer but I looked here to see if I was missing something when the raised .3mf was all one color. That's the only reason I saw this comment string. Just thought I'd offer another perspective.

Cette Creations

Not for sure what I did wrong. I watched your video on how to customize the colors for the first layer filament sequence ( I did white, green, red, brown) and its adding the bottom of the cap-gingerbread with the dress first.

Pawpular Prints

That's unfortunate. I can't help troubleshoot very well on Patreon but if you join the Discord, you can post pictures in the #help channel and we can see if we can figure out what's happening!
