Trying to figure out the style I want to do Crosswires in - I need it to be something relatively simple that won't take me forever per page mostly. The one on the left I did a while ago, and while I like some aspects of it the toning takes too long and makes it look too busy I think? I also like new Sith better but don't think I did Pippa as expressive as the first version, and the linework is a bit more fluid there too. Might aim for a variation of the two for that hahaaaaaa.

I like the details of the female character in the first panel, but the dark hair and dark paneling in the second version I think I like better. Both are amazing of course, so the idea of mixing the two sounds cool!

Happy medium, I think! The expressiveness in the first is really nice

In the style on the right they contrast each other stronger, it's more crisp/clean and easier to follow with the eyes. The original style blended in to itself a bit more, so it took more effort to read. I like the more lax, but strongly captivating style on the right more.

her ears seem a little stiff to me 🤔 (especially in contrast to the cat ears moving around)

I love the expressiveness of the faces from the first one, but I do thing the high contrast from the second one creates a lot of depth and interest
