Hello Ken, Do you think I can apply your lessons with acrylic paint or do I really have to use oil paint. Thank you for your help

Kandice

Does shellacked (shellac-ed) paper need gesso after shellac-ing, or is that a bad idea?

Matthew

Forgive me if this is in the video as I just skimmed over it before I get started but do you list and name the colors that you’re using for each painting lesson? And should I always have a medium handy to mix in? Thx!

Leah Tewari

Really enjoyed watching you expertly portray the beautiful pepper and especially demonstrating the use of challenging orange colors.

Thank you, Ken for a fun and instructive demo. Hope to see many more of them.

Hey Ken, I will try your shellac technique on my watercolor paper. But just wondering, in case I make my painting successful and decide to sell it... i was wondering if the prep surface is good to last? Or do i need to glue it in a wood panel?

Bonnie H

Hi Ken, I've always been taught to use the largest brush possible. Just curious why do you use such a small brush? Also, I have Arches oil paper. The brush drags so on its surface. Does it need some kind of prep? Thank you!
