House of Alphas Chapter 93: Kobeq (Patreon)
Content
Your last night spent with the others was filled with dancing and singing. They caught on to the songs pretty fast and joined in around the campfire.
It was all very fun and made you realize how quiet things were going to be when it will just be you and your alphas.
You would miss these lovely interactions and precious moments.
All of these people…were so full of life and grateful for what you had done.
Even with eating the Gyron, everyone had said they never tasted something so exquisite. Some even joked how they felt they were getting spoiled with royalty treatment, and you wanted to make sure they understood it was what was deserved.
You made sure they knew that.
Constantly reminding them that they should never settle for less. Of course, you had to be cautious with your influence because they held onto every little word you said.
You also had to be careful of what you did.
You noticed some of them tried to copy you.
You didn’t take offense to it, if anything you felt a bit overwhelmed by it. You could probably tell them to do anything and they’d do it, that in itself was scary. They referred to you as prime omega and though that was a title that you always had, you always felt more like a figure head than anything really.
Things like this always had you thinking how different you were from the game.
Dove was the ‘perfect’ prime omega who was quiet and meek. You felt like a rowdy prime omega that screams with a pitchfork and raises torches- ‘DOWN WITH THE SHITTY ALPHAS!’. What you were doing and how you were leading felt almost revolutionary.
The priests would be shitting their britches if they saw how you truly acted and some other alphas would be desperate to you everyone in your place.
Is that what you were passing on… bad behavior?
What if this leads them down a bad path?
What if what you are doing does more harm than good?
Well, there was simply no turning back now…
They thought you were perfect.
Strong.
Beautiful.
Courageous.
All these tags were now tied to your name. When they go off into the world that’s what they will tell everyone. That’s how they will remember you and that’s how they see you.
You felt you had to be who they needed you to be.
You had to be the magical image that they see.
The twinkle in their eyes that shined when they looked at you, or the smiles that lit up at even just a wave of your hand... It was up to you to keep that spark alive.
You hear how they speak so highly of you. In whispers or within your presence.
The brave omega warrior Raven…
The heroine…
That’s who you were.
You had always played an important role but when does the suffocating feeling go away? When will you finally feel like you are doing the right thing without any second guessing? Are you doing the right thing?
‘I’m doing my best.’ You reminded yourself… it was important that you told that to yourself. But what if your best wasn’t good enough? It was hard to hide that haunting thought, but you did.
You can’t panic.
Not in front of everyone.
So you continued to smile and laugh cheerfully, hiding any fear and anxiety deep within. You couldn’t show what you were truly feeling. You couldn’t voice how sorrowful you felt for letting Choso go.
Part of you regret it greatly but looking at Kanjé’s bright expression made you ache. You couldn’t help to think, ‘Would she smile like this if I would have skipped over her to save Choso?’
If you decided to leave her and go for Choso…While she was panicking…what could that have done to her? How shitty would that have made her feel if she watched you go?
Watched her idol leave her…
Of course, you couldn’t do that.
That’s not what a heroine would have done.
But now you felt unease…
Was that the right decision?
Would sacrificing Kanjé’s feelings really have been so bad? What if Choso goes off and dies? What if he tells his father who in retaliation brings a horde of monsters upon you?
Your heart wanted to save Kanjé but that didn’t necessarily mean it was the most optimal decision. What if this comes back to bite you in the ass. Such a decision…that held so much weight…
Kanjé would have been just fine…
No she wouldn’t have…
You could have gone after Choso…
Kanjé needed me.
You don’t even know her like that. She’s not even important to the game dead or alive.
Bitch, I know you did not just think that.
You grimaced at your thoughts, not liking how twisted and selfish they were becoming.
“Raven! Come play with us!” Kanjé called you over, with the widest smile on her face.
You looked up without a second thought, “Coming~!” You easily fixed your lips into a smile, Your mask was becoming easier to put on and off.
You made your decision…
There’s nothing you can do about it now.
~
Goodbyes were hard.
It hadn’t been long but you could already feel a connection with the others. Although, it wasn’t a deep bond like a pack. However, you don’t doubt that the longer you all stayed together you would have been on your way to scenting everyone.
You had to catch yourself a few times already.
A few of them shed tears… okay the majority of them shed tears… including you… hugs were exchanged along with good travel wishes.
Kanjé and Sago were especially balling their eyes out. They may have been the ones that were most attached to you. Along, with Uraume who tried to hide their tears with their marble mask, but you noticed that behind the tough act they were crying on the inside.
“Make sure you protect her.” Uraume had switched to big pup mode, telling your alphas to protect you while packing up as much cooked food for you as possible. “And- make sure she eats the food I packed for her. They are labeled, this is your food this is her for…”
“We will protect her, you don’t have to worry about that.” Toji’s tone was nice but you could tell it was laced with a little annoyance. “I will always protect my girl, I am her alpha.”
Toji was not about to let anyone believe he couldn’t take care of you.
Perhaps it was the same sentiment Sukuna felt about Choso claiming he’d hurt you.
Your anlphas almost seemed appalled that anyone could ever think any less of them when it came to you. It was pretty cute. You knew your alphas would lay down their lives for you before they’d let something happen. It’s usually you that stops them from doing that.
Nanami pretty much said what you (and your alphas) were thinking “I would die before I allow anything to hurt my beloved bird.”
Uraume continued to speak firmly, “Good, if you do not return with our prime omega then I will be sure you will all meet a swift death.”
Woah they even felt comfortable enough to threaten them too- damn Uraume~.
“Threatening your prime alphas? You dare to grow so bold?” Sukuna snorted.
“You won’t have to worry about me killing you as long as you keep Raven safe.” Uraume challenged without hesitation.
Gojo shrugged, “No need buddy, I’ll do it myself right then and there.”
“Yes Romeo and Juliet style.” Getou agreed.
“Or I can kill you and you kill me-“
“Suicide pact? How romantic~.”
“Guys!” You elbow your alpha giving them your ‘eyes’, but they already riled up your protective daddies.
Toji growled at them, “Nothing is going to happen to my princess.”
“We are just saying!”
“Don’t even say that.” Nanami glared.
“Wait- why are you all mad at me they started it!” Gojo tried to throw the blame to Uraume but Toji and Nanami were not going to direct their fire anywhere else. Especially toward anyone in your secret harem fan club.
You breathed deeply as you looked toward Uraume while your alphas still bickered, “We will come home safely Uraume. All of us.” You enunciated to let your alphas know that this was not up for debate. Which did the trick because it shut them up. “But that means you too… you need to make sure you are safe along your travels as well.”
The omega seemed pleased with your answer, “Then it’s a promise… we will both see to it that we meet again.”
“I will see you again Uraume.” You spoke it into existence. Made sure that the universe knew that you planned to do as you said. It was a must.
Uraume grinned at your certainty, “I will see you again.”
“Yes…so this is goodbye, for now.” You went to bow but you let out a gasp when you felt arms wrap around you.
The hug lasted for like point five seconds and then Uraume backed up and bowed repeatedly and swiftly like a broken Barbie doll, “G-goodbye Raven!” And then they were scurrying off like they didn’t just surprise jutsu hug you.
You let out a little laugh at their moment of affection.
“Is that… like… three now?” Gojo whispered to Getou.
“I mean are we counting all the other omegas here or just Junpei Dove and Uraume?”
“I think those are the main hoes-“
“Oh shut up you two~!” You were on your way to giving them a knuckle sandwich when Yuta came running to your group.
“Wait wait~!” He had a map in hand, flipping it open he pointed as he showed Nanami. “Can you let your soldiers know to go around the Chi village?”
“The chi village is closed off to visitors.” Toji stated while pulling your horse over.
Nanami nodded, “Yes, I’ve already told our people to meet you on the outskirts…did you not mark the spot on your map?” Your blonde gave that look over his glasses as Yuta blushed.
“No…I was…a little distracted…” Yuta chuckled as Nanami sighed, taking the map from him.
By distracted Yuta means he was too busy slacking off with Gojo and Getou. Those boys of yours... You don’t know what they were talking about but it seemed like a wild argument that may or may not have involved you.
You didn’t give it much thought as something else occupied your brain.
You tilted your head as you voiced your thoughts, “You don’t want to go through the Chi village?” You found it surprising that Yuta wanted to avoid the area, it’s not like he knew it was blocked off. “Why?”
“Well…,” Yuta drawled while scratching his cheek, “I don’t particularly want to deal with their superstition. Rita and I passed through there on the way down and they almost burned us with the rest of their things.” The alpha let out a playful chuckle that made Getou laugh.
But you did not laugh with them.
You knew they burnt objects and personal belongings but you never thought of them setting a person aflame. You were in a reality where they did that. Especially if they thought someone was a witch.
Getou seemingly caught on that you did not find this information funny- “ahem- they are actually cursed. This is a serious matter Yuta, you shouldn’t joke around.”
“Oh yes of course it’s very sad, I hope they get the help they require.”
You let out a nervous kind of noise, “Uh…they wouldn’t actually do that would they? Burn someone?”
Yuta gave you a light frown, “I believe the situation is too much for their minds. I tried to help them but they called me a witch and chased me out of town.”
“…”
Everyone paused before Sukuna spoke nonchalantly, “I mean, are they wrong?”
“Sukuna-“
“Pfft-“
“Did I lie?“
“Well, he’s not wrong.”
“Ryoumen can you help me over here with this?” Toji grabbed Sukuna before he could sprout anything else.
You shook your head before saying, “I’m very sorry Yuta…I believe someone had cursed them.”
“I saw…the book I’m looking for… it has the answers we need, I believe it whole heartedly.”
“Yes… but we don’t know how long it will take for us to find it…I was hoping the priest could give them some aid…but perhaps that was wishful thinking.”
“The priests? Ha-If only they were able to leave their holy seat...”
The disdain was not missed, it was clear Yuta also didn’t like the priests. Well you don’t think you met a witch that did…Looks like the two of you have something in common. You couldn’t even joke about it as you felt a sickening feeling overcome you.
What if the priests don’t help?
What if Yuta can’t find the book in time?
What if the village start to attack each other, or- Yu?
You had to do something.
As soon as you turned to Getou you spoke-
“Suguru-“
“Yes darling, I’m already sending a message to Yu.”
You nodded, happy that Getou already knew what you required before you even spoke it. Look at him go.
Nanami handed Yuta his map back, “I marked a few more areas that you should all avoid and places where you can find some good food or rest…since you have seemingly written nothing down.”
Yuta smiled not at all phased by the hidden shade, (just like a certain white haired alpha named Gojo)- “Thanks Nanami… and thank you guys…I can’t thank you enough for saving my life and Rika’s...as soon as I get everyone home I’ll find G.Ma right away so I can learn how to get your memory back.”
You nodded slowly, “Could you… by any chance get memories that are long gone?”
“How long?”
“Like…at least a year and more..?” You know it was a reach in the dark but maybe this was another step to learning about Raven. What if her memories were locked inside your brain somewhere? What if you were having a severance event?
Yuta scrunched up his brows, but then settled his expression to one of determination, “I’m not sure but I will certainly try for you Raven…I’ll do my best… this I swear!” He threw himself into a deep bow.
You gave him a soft courtesy, “I know you will Yuta, thank you.”
Just as Yuta straightened, Rika popped her head from the ground shyly.
“GooByyeeEEE RavvvEEEnnn…”
You did something that surprised even yourself. You stepped forward and offered Rika a hug. “Cya later Rika~!” You smiled as she floated out of the ground to give you a tight hug.
“OhaNNnaaAAaa?”
“Yes, haha Ohana means family and no one gets left behind. Not even you Rika.” You could barely breathe but hearing Rika’s little giggle made it all worth it.
Lilo and Stitch was her favorite story. You found this out on a random moment of you venturing to use the restroom late at night. She first popped out to you and you almost pissed yourself as she kept repeating- OhaAAanNnaAaa~
That led to you telling the story to Rika personally, so she could listen and not hide in Yuta’s shadow. You don’t know how a scary ghost could look so adorable while listening to a Disney tale but there you were. Rika seemed Ike a young girl, just trapped in a cruel fate.
“Does this one count too?” You heard your knuckleheads.
“She is an omega.”
“Guess that makes it four now…we might be in trouble.”
You looked toward your alphas as they pretended like they weren’t just talking about you and your omegas in different area codes.
“Alright Rika, you gotta get going, I’m sure everyone back home misses you guys so much.” You chuckled as Rika became excited again. She began to spew off everyone names much like before, dancing and flying around until she sunk back into Yuta’ shadow.
You felt teary-eyed as you waved one last time to everyone. It reminded you of your goodbye to everyone in Shapuro. You missed Momo and Inumaki…Nobara…Maki…Yuuji and Megumi… Junpei…Todo…all your new friends that you made. Slowly but surely you were adding more people to your list… more people for you to protect.
These bonds both scared you and made you happy.
You had so many people that you had to see again. But first you had to deal with the second episode.
“Alright, I’m ready guys let’s go.”
~
~
You arrived in Kobeq in record time.
Traveling was a lot easier now that you didn’t have others to be worried about. Not that you minded the extra company…
Your blonde put you guys at full speed, and you appreciated that because like Aika the attack could have happen early… that didn’t happen but…it was rather calm when you arrived.
A peaceful fisherman town with bustling with life.
People yelling out fish for sale- or other various seafood creatures.
It smelt absolutely delicious.
Like you had just walked into a seafood broil restaurant. Your tummy was rumbling but you kept your gaze out for anything out of the ordinary. Using your dark eyes you checked everyone for a mark…
But there was none…
You were right on time… the day it was supposed to occur…and so far there was no attack…not even a sniff of one. You weren’t sure if this was a good thing or a bad thing.
Where was the monsters? Were they coming later? Or did the villains change their mind completely just like Sukuna had mentioned before.
If so where would they attack?
Or when…
What if you were in the right place but the wrong time- or the wrong place and the right time! You kept checking above you to see if there were any messenger birds that were coming in with an important SOS, but the skies were as calm as the sea.
This could not be…
Everything was just… too calm!
What the fuck!
Was the second episode already fucked!
“You hungry princess?” Toji shouted to you, he must have saw your nose twitching at all the lovely smells.
“Let’s…scout the perimeter… then we can rest...” You called back. You denied your hunger, you didn’t want to get too comfortable too soon.
You need to do a thorough check…then you can relax…
Trailing the outskirts of town your pack did another sweep and still you weren’t able to pick out anything out of the ordinary. And neither did they.
“Babyyy…” Gojo whined a bit, “…I don’t think there’s anything of harm here.”
“We- we gotta keep looking. Maybe it’s hidden or something!”
“There’s nothing here omega.” Sukuna spoke up, “I would have caught on to it by now.”
“Let’s just get something to eat then we can regroup.” Toji offered a reassuring smile.
“What- what day is it?” You questioned instead. “Nanami did you get the days mixed up?”
Nanami looked halted the horses and if looks could talk his would have said’ be for real’- okay you were most certainly exaggerating-
Getou made a noise of displeasure, “M-m- now you are just being ridiculous darling, Mr. perfection doesn’t make mistakes. And you know it.”
You quickly apologized to Nanami feeling rather stupid for doing that to your alpha, “I’m sorry- you are right, I guess…this is my bad then…”
“How?” Nanami questioned, “We came here in hopes of stopping an attack, to help these people. So far that’s two villages that have been saved.”
“It’s more than that…” you breathed a low sigh, allowing your true emotions to bleed out. You no longer had to be picture-perfect. You were with your alphas. They loved you with all your flaws.
“What’s been bothering you?” Toji reached over to rub your back comfortingly.
“The beta.” Sukuna inserted for you.
You nodded, “… I am upset with that… I could have gathered sooo much more information, he could have told me about Kobeq…or maybe the new plans of attack… I don’t know I feel like there was so much I could have gotten from him… and I know you say to not have regrets but… I think I should have gone after him…” you look up to your alphas with a frown, “…Kanjé…she would have been fine right…? I could have easily stopped the most important puzzle piece from leaving…”
Getou stopped you before you could continue, “Stop, you don’t know if that omega would have survived. We were all focused on the Gyron. Remember that one move it does? Where it shoots spikes? In its desperation it repeatedly flung spikes everywhere. That could have easily harmed her.”
You understood what Getou was saying but in the grand scheme of things could one life have saved a thousand? “What if this means that Choso dies? Or… he gets to his father and he tells them things about us-“
Sukuna cut in, “We will deal with it when we get there.”
Gojo threw his leg around so he could sit on his horse backward, “We need to focus on one thing at a time, first Kobeq- we kick some ass here- then we can go to the chi village- kick some asses-“
Toji looked confused, “Who’s asses are we beating up in the Chi village?”
“-shh it just sounded cool okay! Then we uh- oh! Then we see Dove! Huh? Huh?” Gojo grinned trying to make you smile.
You let out a little snort due to your alpha’s silliness.
“Kick her ass.” Sukuna added smugly.
“Hey!” Your smile dropped immediately.
“What?” Sukuna grinned, “It goes along with the rest of the plan right?”
Getou shook his head, “If you lay even a finger on Dove our sweet girl will kick your asses.”
You nodded your head enthusiastically, “Mhm, That’s right.”
“She can certainly try-“
“Sounds like a good time-“
You busted up laughing at Gojo and Sukuna’s opposite opinions on you beating them up. “Well, I like the plan but it doesn’t look like we are kicking asses here either…”
“Not necessarily a bad thing…” Gojo tried to point out with a hopeful smile.
“Yes…not necessarily…but it brings the question of why? What made them change their mind? I must have caused them to change their plans but what did I do…and now what will they do…”
“Ooooi~!”
Your group looked to see who was shouting at them.
Miguel was waving at you all, a big grin on his face. “You guys can’t just come through town and not stop by!” He shouted.
Miguel along with Negi were the alphas of Kobeq, and close friends with your alphas. They were hurt during the second episode and called for help as they did their best to hold off the monsters. It was good to see the alpha in good health.
Your pack greeted the alpha as you all made your way to him.
“I knew I smelt something fishy!” Miguel chuckled as Getou rolled his eyes in a playful manner.
“That most certainly isn’t me, you know how elegant my cleaning routine is.” Sassy hair flip.
“It’s a bit excessive.” Toji wasn’t even trying to be funny -he was very serious- but it still made everyone laugh.
“Haha~ and this…my my my, the prime omega Raven? I have heard so much about you.” The man looked you up and down with a critical eye.
Depending on who he got his information from would say if it was good or bad.
“I hope it was all good things.” Nanami stated, clearly not liking the idea of anyone speaking ill of you.
“I’ve heard interesting things but rumors are just whispers and tales, I’d like to get to know you for myself before I cast judgment.” The alpha gave you a nice smile before stepping back with a gesture of his hand, “Please, come join us for breakfast, my pack will be happy to see you.”
You give the alpha an A for effort, but he knew he was lying.
Tigress probably didn’t have anything nice to say about you. You were a damn bully in her eyes and you- not you but maybe a version of you- absolutely harassed her friend Dove.
“Just a fair warning my omega can be a little feisty.”
“Ours too!”
“Then they should get along huh?”
“Our omega loves omegas, a secret kink of hers.”
“Yes she has her way to sway them all with her charm.”
“She may need an extra charm for my girl!”
“Ahahah~”
You inwardly rolled your eyes as the alphas laughed and spoke like some alpha bros reuniting.
Oh yes, Tigress will leap over the damn moon when she sees you walk into her home. She might even attack you with affection.
Yay…

Chef Note:
Narrator~ Tigress did not in fact leap over the moon with joy 😔
1.) screaming at all your theories but i just want to say that i feel like you guys are going to be surprised when we get to the big reveal. I have seen a lot of comments that are close but then everything else is not as close. Like there is so much more behind the scenes that i have yet to reveal.
We still have quite a long way to go but there will be more sprinkles of clues on the way and of course you know smut v-v~ so important to the story you know.
2.) If anyone notices i don’t really add much description to the omegas and some of the characters, sometimes i like you guys to envision your own characters like how they act and behave shapes their appearance to you, if that makes sense. Kind of like in epic how everyone draws the characters differently but they all feel like the character… i don’t know if that makes sense but i do try to keep their appearance up to you. They can look any way and any shape. Like i have different ways of how i view kanjé and it changes a bit but all look very similar in a way.
Okay thank you chef sadi out ^=^~
2.) Sorry okay I’m laughing at reader trying to blame Nanami like he got the days wrong like he did not triple and quadruple check like he was so offended Getou was offended for him 😂😂😂😂
