House of Alphas Chapter 140: Burn (Patreon)

After the imposter went inside, you looked at the jar with the Jackéh. You weren’t sure how many you had to get, but Sukuna caught one, and there was another right above you.

Using your shadow form, you floated to the top of the barn and hovered before the buzzing insects. They looked downright horrendous, straight from nightmares. But they didn’t react toward you, just floating about. Twisting the jar top just a bit, you moved your hands close to the queen, and right as it landed on the beam, you opened it swiftly and snapped it inside.

That’s two.

You spotted a nest in the corner, watching as the bugs continued to build it. It was small; perhaps they just got to work setting up their new home. Seeing them move about, building their space, made you want to blast them. It reminded you of how their slug of a master was settling into her home with your alpha, preparing to stay here for however long.

You have never felt such calm rage.

You had to be meticulous…if you hurt her pests, she would be alerted to your presence. You had to get the drop on her before she had a moment to react and use your alpha against you.

Victory was more important, you can’t slip up.

You sat there for a bit, but you didn’t see any other queens.

Maybe each nest had one.

You were careful, moving out of the barn. Watching the house, you migrated to the fields. The animals had practically ignored you, your shadow form keeping you discreet.

The next spot you checked was the trees. You found a nest in a Gusha tree. The bugs were enjoying their sweet treat. However, you didn’t see a queen within the group.

This must have been the one Sukuna found.

Alright… on to the next one.

You knelt low, wondering where the next spot could be. While under the tree, one of the wasps began to float away with a piece of the fruit. It went past the nest that was nearby, going in a different direction.

You followed all the way until it landed on the wooden fence. The corner was covered by a bush. It crawled inside of it. Others were buzzing around as well.

Using your dark form, you phased into the bush, finding a nest being built.

“There you are…” You move for the queen, who was enjoying the treat that her worker drone had brought her. You had closed her into the jar along with her food. Screwing on the lid, you heard a noise from the house.

Peaking out, you watched as Yorozu walked toward the barn mumbling and grumbling to herself.

She picked up the bucket, a Taka bird came running by, and she yelled, “MOVE!”

You inwardly scoffed, wondering how in the world someone who hated farm life so much could deal with such things. But let’s be honest, she probably got all this for Sukuna. He needs meat to sustain.

You saw something float by the house, but you weren’t sure if it was a leaf or a bug. Watching for it again, another thing flew past. You were too far away to make out what it was, but you could only assume it was one of the bugs by how it zigzagged into the air. It looked to be going toward the roof.

With Yorozu outside, you didn’t want to go after it; she might see you. So instead, you go to the front door and step inside.

The cabin was thoroughly decorated, with

a horrendous color scheme. You wouldn’t have picked this. Seriously- was she even trying?

Going up the stairs, you noticed the extra rooms to your left and right. Straight ahead seemed to be the master room. You couldn’t drag yourself from the others, though… you could imagine little pu- no- why was your mind forcing you to envision something you didn’t want to see…

You felt your body ache in anger even more than it already was. Everything about this place made you want to scratch Yorozu's face off with your bare nails.

You could see her plans laid out right here… what she wanted in the future… all right here…

A click sounded, and Sukuna stepped out into the hall with wet hair. He was wearing a fresh set of clothes, but they had thrown you off. He had on a black blouse with leather pants. He looked as though he was about to ask to suck your blood.

Both your eyes lit up in surprise for two different reasons.

“What are you wear-“

“She’s messing with me, and I know it- playing dress up like I’m a damn doll. Limiting my clothes here! It was either this or a fucking suit.” He snarled low while grabbing your arm and rushing you into the main room.

While he talked, you had gazed at the king-size bed. The blanket wasn’t straightened out.

“Did you…” You asked with a tight jaw.

“No, absolutely not. The moment I woke up, I knew something was off, so I doubt I did before, even without those memories. I mean, look at the color of this place. I’m pretty sure you hate this shade.” He gestured toward the wallpaper.

Truly, you were unsure if it was really the color or just the woman herself.

“You would be correct…It’s like she’s not even trying.” It was the color you would swear upon it.

“Why would she when she can just keep resetting me?”

You shook your head in disgust, “I mean, what does she tell you about the others when you ask?”

“Says they will be here tomorrow night. A perfect excuse to have me on a 24-hour loop.”

“I’m so sick of her… Look, I have three Jackéhs, and I’m pretty sure there is a nest right outside this window.”

"Good. I can’t remember how many she has, but she uses them as armour and weapons. Without the queens, she won’t be able to command their hive as effectively. When she comes in here, crush this jar and kill her, make it quick so she nor her pests have time to react.” He spoke sneaking by the window, leaning against the wall as he made sure the coast was clear.

You snorted, “A swift death is much too good for her…”

“Tch- I know.” Sukuna agreed, “But I don’t want to give her a chance to get me to attack you.” He unlocked the window and opened it. Just as he did, a wasp had flickered by, having been disturbed by the sudden movement.

He stuck his head out, looking left and right before his hand snapped forward and he grabbed something. Closing his fist, he didn’t come back in right away, but he quickly put his hand behind his back as he waved at someone you assumed was Yorozu.

“Make sure you lock them up!” He shouted.

“Ah!? By myself?!”

As they spoke, Sukuna shook his other hand toward you. Kneeling behind him, you opened the jar and tapped him so he could drop the queen.

“I believe in you!” He called.

“I can’t believe you would treat your Lu Marcie this way!”

“You look good working, hurry up so we can get to bed.”

That made the fake -giggle while you felt yourself bristle with irritation. You hit Sukuna against his leg over and over again while he closed the window, not even reacting to your fit.

“Would you stop being a brat?” He scooped you up off the floor.

“Don’t compliment her.” You hissed, pushing him against his chest. “I don’t care if she looks like me.”

He raised a brow, “I was buying us some time. Besides, her facial expressions don’t even match yours, even with her looking like you, it doesn't feel like you.”

“You're mine.” Was all you could grumble, giving him one more hit to his chest, but he caught your hand-

"I know." and yanked you to him to press his lips upon yours.

It had you by surprise, but it melted away your initial burst of anger… toward him…

You were still very much pissed about this entire thing.

But having his lips on your own…brought forth an explosion of emotions that you could not contain.

You set the jar to the side, somehow finding a place for it in your blind passion. Throwing your arms around his neck, you took control of your kiss. It felt like you were claiming him, and he was allowing you to do so… feeding into this need. This need that hurts worse than any pain you've felt before.

Your fingers were in his hair as you kissed him aggressively.

He was yours.

No one else could have him.

And the fact that someone tried… and is currently trying… with your very own image made you downright feral.

You pushed him back until he was upon the bed. There wasn’t a moment to breathe as you jumped on him, straddling his waist. As soon as you felt those hard cocks underneath, your hips tilted so you could press them into you just right.

Sukuna let out a hiss as he flipped you over and pinned you by your throat, “What are you doing?” He panted as if surprised by his and your actions.

“What- what does it look like?” You breathe with a bratty attitude.

“Are you trying to get me to claim you here?”

And now that he said that, you may have - actually- realized where your possessive moment was heading. But maybe that’s just what you needed to ease this burn.

You spread your arms, running your hands over the blanket as you spoke venomously, “So what if I do? Maybe I want you to take me in this very fucking nest she built for you.”

Sukuna’s chest rumbled as he breathed out a choked moan, “-Stop.” He grit his teeth, trying to calm down. “We need to break this spell first, and then I’ll defile you as much as you want. Maybe I’ll even do it in the bitch’s blood.”

“Yes!” You let out a groan, pushing up to kiss your fiendish alpha. He met your lips with frenzied need, releasing a groan as he began to rock into you. But then he yanked himself back, “Why are you doing this to me NOW!” He growled out in frustration, puffs of smoke slipping past his canines. His flesh was hot and flushed, like he was about to transform.

You let out a wicked laugh, but then you heard the front door open and close.

Quickly, Sukuna pulled you up, “Hide.” He snatched the jar and handed it to you and then ushered you into the closet. The door slid to the side, and you hid. You knelt down, angling your head so you could see between the small spaces of the wooden shutters.

Sukuna flopped upon the edge of the bed.

Your doppelgänger came into the room with a huff, but then she lit up, fluttering her eyes. “Oh?” She took a deep breath, “I guess you really liked me working out there huh?” She questioned, swaying her way to the bed.

The jar in your claws creaked, cracks splintered from the bottom to the top.

“No…” Sukuna stated slowly, “…I was actually thinking…about when you punished Getou…”

That had you blinking in surprise, and of course, it had your fake double back as she toyed with her clothes. You know Sukuna was referring to Gojo, not your other alpha.

But she didn’t know that.

“Oh?” The imposter said, trying to play along as she swiftly walked to the bathroom, “What about it?” She called.

Sukuna wasn’t looking her way, but now he was looking in your direction, “I liked the leather. How it hugged your body. Liked how you made Getou lick it off you...But I think I like how controlling you were, too; it was cute.”

Cute? You scoffed in your head. You were trying to be MENACING and FIERCE, not cute.

Sukuna grinned almost as if he knew you were fuming from his comment.

“Really? You…like me controlling?” The fake questioned from the door.

“Hm?” Sukuna raised a brow almost as if he forgot he was supposed to be talking to Yorozu, not you. “Something like that.” His lip pulled up into a little grin. “Did you know Getou cheated on the bet?”

“He did?” Yorozu echoed what you were thinking.

“Yeah…” Sukuna nodded, “…He used his cock ring you got him from the Chi Village.”

You almost bust out laughing at how seamlessly Sukuna was interchanging information. It was like your own secret joke that was going right over the slug's head.

“That sneaky alpha.” She tutted, placing her hands on her hips. “I’ll have to punish him when he gets here.”

“You should.” Sukuna gestured to the closet, “I got you just the outfit to do it.”

Yorozu looked excited, “Oh~ Really?”

“Mhm, but I get to try it first.”

That had the woman giddy, going toward you. You got into position, readying your hand. You were gonna blast her with the jar.

All in one motion.

Your eyes lowered as the woman stood right on the other side of the thin wood. Her hand pushing it, "I can't wait-"

KABOOM!

A blast had gone off, shaking the entire cave, the sounds of rocks crackled. The moment had caught the woman off guard, but you took the opportunity for yourself.

"What was-" Before she could finish her sentence, you tossed the rest of the door open and used your dark energy-

"SHADOWBALT!"

With your hand swirling in your magic, you pushed the jar into the omega's chest and blasted her across the room.

"AH!" She screamed- jar of bugs crushed into her chest as she was sent flying into the wall. "My babies!!" She screamed as the bugs all began to cry all around you like screeching crickets. Her body began to flicker with wings, her chest having what looked like armour form around it.

"She already has armour on-aim for whatever part doesn't have it!" Sukuna yelled as he took the bedside lamp and slammed it into the woman's head.

She flopped on the ground, and you ran out, calling forth your sword. Jumping upon her with a warrior cry, you shoved your blade down upon her, but she burst into bugs, her body flying away in a swarm.

"Get back here!" You flipped your sword and ran after her with your shadow monsters creeping out of the ground.

You heard Sukuna grunt, causing you to freeze in the doorway. You looked back in time as he fell upon his knees, holding a hand against the side of his head.

"GO!" He shouted.

"Kill her!" You command running as the monsters lunged out of the ground and shot off in a cluster of a mess. Knocking over every piece of furniture and picture as they crammed their way through the hallway.

They tumbled down the stairs, and you jumped after them. Flying out of the door, you caught Yorozu's half-bug form running around the cabin.

"Get away from me!" She hissed, using an armoured fist to punch your beast away. They were getting thrown from left to right.

They appeared weaker, smaller even.

It had to be morning now. That was when these creatures usually disappear, but since you were underground, they were able to be out. However, they weren’t doing much damage.

You grunted, hopping over the side of the porch. "I'm going to kill you! No one can save you!"

Yorozu tripped in the middle of the pathway. Her bugs fixed themselves as they blended into the makeshift flesh that was a copy of your own.

"Sukuna help me!" She cried.

"Don't you dare call my alpha!" You lunged, but a crash sounded-

It was the window from the top floor, shards of glass rained upon you as Sukuna came rolling in the middle of you.

A gasp left your lips as he bared his fangs at you. Glowing pink mist radiated around his form…the power of the hex put upon him.

"KILL HER!" Yorozu shouted.

He was trapped under her spell as he staggered toward you with a snarl.

"Sukuna don't..." You spoke calmly, eyebrows furrowed.

He stopped...his voice sounded echoy as he said, "My...my omega...must protect-“ His throat strained.

"It's me Sukuna...I'm your omega..."

"Fuck-" Yorozu cursed as she narrowed her eyes at your alpha, a heart symbol glowed on her forehead.

Sukuna let out a groan, doubling over as his mind was tampered with.

“Sukuna?” You leaned your head to the side, trying to see his face. Cautious of stepping forward.

The pink aura had disappeared, and then his expression seemed to turn back to normal.

He blinked a few times with a groan, “What the hell…?”

"Sukuna, it's Yorozu! She has you entraped!"

Wait a minute...

That was your fucking line.

And your fucking voice.

"Shut up!" You growled at her as Sukuna looked over his shoulder at the teary-eyed fake.

"No! Yorozu- you fucking cunt, which one are you!" He snarled, whipping his head to and fro.

"Sukuna-" You began, but Yorozu threw a finger at you shouting-

"She tried to take you away from me Solunar! Kill her!"

You let out a mocking laugh. She couldn't command him to kill you, so now she was going to trick him into killing you? You clapped- applauded her for such debauchery. "You want to do this? Ok. I'll fucking humour you. The second time I met Sukuna, I ran away from him. What city were we in?"

Yorozu blinked swiftly, "Why would I answer that? You just want to know the answer!" She scoffed.

Sukuna straightened, his eyes already flashing with recognition. You could see his body relax as if he was happy to know you were not the one hurt and on the ground. "Answer the question." He looked toward Yorozu, his feet slightly shifted…getting ready to attack the imposter.

The omega let out a hiss before her forehead symbol glowed and Sukuna fell to the ground with an agonizing groan.

Seeing your alpha in pain made you cry. “Sukuna! Stop you are hurting him?!”

You moved past your alpha to get rid of the witch but she screamed.

“Sukuna stop Yorozu!”

Sukuna grabbed your arm, just as you passed him.

“What the fuck?” He looked just as confused as the first time his memory was erased.

“She’s the imposter!” Yorozu spoke swiftly with your tone now. “And I can prove it! The second time I met Sukuna I ran away from him! What city were we in?”

She had to be joking.

Sukuna looked at you as you looked upon him. All you had to do was raise a brow, and he just knew it was truly you.

That recognition on his face made Yorozu scream. Because she could now see it too.

The way his expression softened ever so lightly when he looked at you than toward her.

"KILL HER! JUST KILL HER DAMNIT!" She screeched standing up as her forehead glowed.

That pink aura vibrated around Sukuna and he flinched as if shocked. His grip on you tightened. And when he looked at you even entrapped in the spell he knew it was you. But the hex was trying to push him to kill you.

"I can't-I can't-" He grit his teeth his body trembling, blood began to drip from his nose. He was fighting. Fighting everything in him that was pushing him to do as the spell wished. "I won't-" and in that moment, a tear slipped from his eye.

Your poor alpha.

You cupped his face sweetly. He was hurting so much physically and mentally. Yorozu didn't love him, not like you loved him. She wouldn’t do this to him… this was sick. If anything, she viewed him as a pet. But she believes she loves him.

"KILL HER! NOW!" She continued to screech, pushing the command on Sukuna.

"He can't." You state firmly. "If he does, then he will die. It is his blood oath to me."

Yorozu's eyes widen in surprise, "What- you're lying!"

You picked up Sukuna's trembling hand and rubbed your thumb over the mark; the blood oath appeared. "If he kills me. You won't be able to have him. So release him, and let us fight. If you truly love him, then you will have to kill me yourself."

You left out the part that if you die he would also die but she didn’t need to know that.

Yorozu was breathing heavily through your explanation, seething as she panted like a beast. The glowing aura Sukuna had disappeared, and then he fell to his knees with his eyes slightly opened, but he appeared to be stuck...frozen. You helped him lie upon the ground.

"M-m-" He tried to speak.

"Don't worry." You hushed him, "I will handle this."

Yorozu released a banshee scream. "YOU RUINED EVERYTHING!"

The barn, the house, the trees, and all around erupted with swarms of wasps.

Together, they flooded around Yorozu in a tornado, causing the wind around you to kick up. The animals screeched and ran away as far as they could get.

"ME?" You questioned in anger, "I RUINED EVERYTHING?!"

The bugs created Yorozu's armour, but they were half creating it half flapping around her. Her armour looked fucked and not complete. She can't control them well without her queens. Half her snarling face was revealed while parts of her skin peaked out.

"HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MINE!" She kicked off, dashing toward you.

She was too fast- but her fist went through your chest, and she slid through you.

"HE WAS NEVER YOURS!" Using your sword, you spun, slashing at her back with a shadow arc. The armour split, but the bugs quickly sealed it back up. She jumped into the air, sending you tumbling back a bit.

Shit-

"YOU DON'T DESERVE HIM!" Yorozu came crashing down, you shadow stepped backward, a creator dipped into the ground, creating a shock wave.

"How dare you-"

"He was hurting! You hurt him!"

That had caught you off guard Yorozu had flung herself at you, you put your sword up and she kicked it. You were hit to the ground sliding as your monster creatures tried to protect you. They ran at Yorozo but she punched and kicked them out of her way like pesky dogs.

"Bringing in that beta to make him angry- causing him such distress, making him smell so terrible, why do you think it was so easy to take him?!"

Yes...

She was right...

Everything had added up in a way to drop Sukuna's guard. His mental state was weak, and that allowed Yorozu to easily worm her way into his den and take him away from you.

"No." Stabbing the ground you stood, "You have no right… You have no idea how far we have come, what trials we have faced. This? You. You are just another obstacle!" You ready your stance, your sword above your head. "I will kill you with the sword my alpha has gifted me!"

"I'll rip you apart!" Yorozu charged at you with a frustrated cry, crushing the rest of your creatures.

"HOLY LIGHT!" A shock of light exploded in front of you. Yorozu, along with her bugs, screamed from the flashbang.

There- her bugs had flickered away from her chest, where shards of glass stuck in her real skin! Using your sword, you stepped forward to stab her right in her heart.

WHACK!

Your sword was knocked out of your hand, and the momentum had you falling to the ground. You hit the dirt with a grunt. In the corner of your eye, you could see the skin of her ankle.

All you could think about was causing her pain.

So much pain.

Pain beyond your greatest imagination.

The spell echoed in your head and you grabbed her ankle with a shadow hand, "E@t%rni*s Nec?ri&!"

"What do you think you are doing?!" Yorozu shrieked as all your shadow energy seemed to drain away from you and go into this one spell. All of it- all of your curse energy was being sucked in. "Fuck off!" She kicked you, and your body sailed into the air until you hit the fence.

It cracked, and you grunted your butt hitting the ground.

What the hell?

You looked toward Yorozu in confusion. That spell you just used. You don't even know how to pronounce it; it came out of your mouth like some demonic speech. You felt like it took all of your magic; you barely had enough to go into shadowform.

"Is that the best you got?" Yorozu scoffed while stalking toward you, "I thought the prime omega Raven was stronger than this. Sukuna spoke so highly of you- you're nothing special!”

You smiled, "Clearly, I'm more special than you. Sukuna was going to fuck me in your bed before you interrupted us."

Her nose lifted into a snarl, "I'm going to enjoy this-" As she moved, she let out a gasp of pain. "What..." She fell forward as if something had tripped her.

⚠️Standing up, you were able to see that her foot was left behind...detached from her body.

"What...what the hell!" She flipped over to look, and once she saw her situation, the pain seemed to finally register. She released a scream of pure agony. Clutching her calf. "WHAT IS THIS? WHAT IS HAPPENING!" Her bugs began to swarm around her in a panic. A potion appeared before her from the swarm, and she poured it on her leg, but whatever it was wasn't healing.

You walked around her to look, to see that there were black-looking flames marked on her skin, slowly moving upward. But most importantly, spots of black flames began to appear all around her flesh.

⚠️"AH, IT HURTS STOP STOP PLEASE!" She gasps, watching as the flames eat at her flesh more. Areas of her body began to form necrosis right before your very eyes.

Her hands dropped in her lap, and one by one her bugs began to fall to the ground like rain pouring.

You continued to watch with morbid curiosity, stepping closer as your head tilted.

"Does it hurt?"

"Yes- yes im sorry- I'm sorry, please- please forgive me-" She fell back, now unable to move, her limbs had shut down.

There was so much blood. From the bugs...and from her. It was a gross and gory sight.

You kneel before the witch, caressing her cheek in cruel mockery, "You’re sorry?”

“YES YES I AM! I SWEAR TO ALUNE I'LL NEVER MESS WITH YOUR PACK AGAIN!”

“My pups are scared of me...I wasn't able to sing their mother's song...all the witches...hate me...the friend I made a promise to help...I left him behind...he’s probably dead now…all because...of you..."⚠️ You poke at her decaying bicep, and it crumbles like dust, leaving her hand on the ground... detached from her.

She let out a terrifying shriek that must have ripped her throat raw.

You noticed how her hand lay on its own, away from her body. It reminded you of that image you had of drowning in the water.

Was this the same spell used on you?

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!” She cried and sniffled, tears streaming down her face. Chest quivering from each shaky and fearful breath.

"She’s sorry. Oh, she’s sorry she’s sorry she’s sorry! SHE’S SORRY! SHE’S SORRY!” You then let out a burst of laughter, “Hahaha sorry that’s something from my world hahaha! You wouldn’t get it! Hahaha!” You were laughing so hard you fell to the ground cackling. This was so much better than death, this was perfect! Perfectly deserved! “After you die, NO ONE WILL SING YOUR SONG!”

"Grandma! GRANDMA HELP ME!" Yorozu screamed frantically realizing that you might be psychotic… or a demon.

"Was it worth it, huh huh? Was it worth it Yorozu? Are you happy now?! Hahaha!” You couldn't stop laughing...even as another ground-shaking explosion had gone off up above. Even as the woman before you wails...in misery, begging Alune for forgiveness…

Can I just say how I laughed and teared up when Yorozu could match our tone of voice and words and all we had to do was just look at Sukuna with the 🤨 and he KNEW who was the real one off of just one look 😂.

I also wanted to comment that it has been two years since this restaurant opened and I’d like to do something to celebrate but I don’t know what. I thank you all for being here because if it weren't for my kitchen I wouldn't be able to cook/type as much as I do. I’m so thankful that I would like to do something that everyone can feel appreciated. I thought about doing a vote for something but felt bad if people vote and are not able to get something they want then it would feel like they aren’t getting anything. I don’t know if in being extra but I’m just a people pleaser and I would like to please my whole kitchen with something.

One of my thoughts was maybe I could share a secret of the story but I know some people don’t want things to be spoiled.

I also thought maybe I could write a one-shot, like a cooking with the chef where everyone puts in an ingredient to be in the one-shot. Such as a kink. Or your favorite ingredient onions/angst (haha I’m such a jokster) But then I was like I hope it doesn’t get too big and become more than a one-shot you know me lmao 😂

Unfortunately, I’m not going to do a double posting of House of Alphas, but the only reason I’m not going to do that is because I don’t like to rush the meal. I kind of just do a, when it’s done it’s done kind of thing and make sure it’s perfect before posting whenever that day lands.

Other than that, I don’t know I’m just throwing out my thoughts on it but let me know if you have any ideas for a celebration ^=^!
