House of Alphas Chapter 156: See You Again (Patreon)
Content
You almost died…twice.
Once by poison and the other by the orgasmic high of having way too much pleasure.
Despite all that, you have to say you were quite relaxed.
You sighed awake, with no real urgency. You were within the infirmary of the Omega Home. Lying on the hospital-looking bed. To your right was Toji snoring loudly. To your left, Sukuna lay back in his bed, arms crossed behind his head as he stared at the ceiling.
He didn’t acknowledge you as you shifted to lie on your side. He seemed to be deep in thought.
“Hey.” You spoke at a normal volume, because Toji could sleep through anything unless it were danger.
“Hm?” He hummed.
You waited for his eyes, smiling once he turned his head.
“What’s so interesting up there?” You asked with a playful glance.
“You want to know what I'm thinking about.”
“That would be the translation. Yes.”
He released a snort, rolling his eyes as he returned his attention to his original focus.
You waited patiently, knowing that he would cave. You got comfy in your bed as if you didn’t care about the answer. Pretending to go back to sleep, pulling the blanket over your head. “Goodnight.”
You heard him take a deep breath. “You didn’t use my collar.”
“Your collar?” You flopped the blanket down in a flash. “For what?”
“Do you know how to use it?”
“I do- oh, you are talking about when you bit Choso. Well… yeah I know the consensus of using it, but I don’t want to if you don’t like it.”
“I hurt your beta. You didn’t think that required discipline?”
“Sukuna, the collar is a punishment you bestowed upon yourself. Until you give permission and say you want me to use it, then I won’t.”
“Why would I give you permission to control me?”
“I never asked for it Sukuna. I’m just saying that whatever you have going on is between you and yourself-“
“I’m trying to protect you.” He sat up, his tone irritated. The singe of his scent wafting in your direction. “I’m doing it for you.”
“I…” You furrowed your brows, utterly confused about where his anger was coming from. He seemed wounded to have to wear the collar, but it also seemed to irritate him that you didn’t utilize it. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. “…Sukuna, I’m a bit confused…What do you want me to do-“
SNORT
“Huh-huh?” Toji looked around with a bit of drool upon the corner of his lip.
“Evening daddy.” You spoke, looking over your shoulder.
Toji sniffed, his nose twitching. “What got you mad Sukuna?”
“Nothing. What was that letter about?” Sukuna dodged the moment at hand to throw Toji under the bus.
Sly alpha…
BECAUSE YOU DO WANT TO KNOW WHAT WAS IN THE LETTER.
So you would allow this deflective play.
The alpha looked taken aback as you sat up to stare at him.
“Nothing you need to worry about…uh you upset because of the whole collar thing yeah?”
Oh- and the ball was back in Sukuna’s court.
“You owe a lot of money.”
“You want her to use it.”
“I smelt who it was from.”
“You bit the beta so she would use it.”
Woah… this is an intense match…your eyes bounced back and forth like a tennis ball was being hit across your bed.
But it was time to settle the score.
“You-“
“Ok! Ok…alphas…Both of you have explaining to do.” You pointed. You could dissect the underlying truth behind their attacks. “So Toji… you owe money… and Sukuna you want me to use your collar-”
“I don't-”
“Let's! Start over here…you both can tell me the truth now…how much money do you owe?”
Toji’s jaw tightened. There was something dark in his eyes that startled you. Such an angry look seemed unbefitting of your gentle giant. He looked like he wanted to kill someone, and he was envisioning that exact person instead of looking at you. Then he moved his eyes to Sukuna, his expression changing into something lighter. He nodded his head at you and, without a word, they both stood.
“What-what-what are you two doing!” you squeaked as they crowded your bed. You were dressed, but they were very much still naked.
“I don’t think you're tired enough.”
“You think we had gone too light?”
The evil fiends took away your blanket shield and grabbed your wrist and thigh on both sides.
“This isn't going to stop me from getting the truth!-mm!” Toji kissed you as Sukuna wrapped his hand around your neck.
They were now working together to silence you! A treaty that was made all for the sake of keeping you in the dark!
How dare they!
“Oi oi oi!” Gojo clapped repeatedly to get your attention. The three of you perked up to see your alpha at the end of your bed. “Alpha meeting you greedy assholes.”
“You are one to talk.” Sukuna scoffed, getting off the mattress.
“Get your clothes on and let's go people! Hey baby. How are you feeling?” Gojo grabbed your hands, pulling you into a sweet kiss.
“I'm good, alpha. What's this meeting about?” you asked, moving to get up but Gojo pushed you back down.
“This is an alphas' meeting, sorry sweetness.”
“Alpha meeting?” You released an incredulous laugh, then your eyes moved to see Choso who was coming in with an elixir.
“Nanami had said to meet him in the sunroom.” he handed you the glass. “And he said for you to take this and rest.”
“I thought this was an alpha meeting?” Sukuna stated, looking Choso up and down.
“He has some alpha in him.” Gojo stated.
Whaaaat?
You looked at Gojo in shock- he just defended Choso?
Have you awakened in another world? Was this not your alpha!?
You found it funny that they had their moments of defending the beta depending on their moods.
“Wait- why can't I come?” You were flabbergasted back to the topic at hand. They never had an ‘alpha’ meeting, so what the hell?!
“You need to get your energy back, I'm feeling greedy and you know when I get like this who knows I might accidentally kill someone.” Gojo sighed patting Choso around his shoulders.
“Satoru!” That's why he was being so nice!
“Relax baby.” Toji spoke as they headed out of the room.
Sukuna pointed at you, “You got training to do, so rest your little ass in that bed. I need you taking my real cocks before my rut.”
“Can you at least tell me what this discussion is about!?” you shouted as the door was closing.
“Alpha business!” Gojo called.
And the door was shut.
Alpha business!?
Well, that was horseradish!
You couldn't believe they were leaving you out and having Choso in the meeting- no offense to Choso- but what the hell did they have to discuss?
Without you!
You were the queen bee!
Also- they listen to every conversation you have, so this was unfair! You chug the thick liquid down with an aggressive huff. Grimacing and shivering from the medicine's tang.
You jump off the bed, leaving your room. You just so happen to be going in the same direction your alphas went.
You were going to the kitchen…
For a snack…
You were feeling peckish!
It's not your fault their meeting just so happens to be on the way.
You walked with slow steps, when you got outside the area you eyed the colorful glass panes. Nanami was standing in the middle of the garden next to the stone fountain. Choso, Gojo, Sukuna, and Toji were there.
But you didn't see-
“Snooping are we?”
“Eek!” you squeaked, turning around to see Getou behind you, a playful smirk on his lips. “I-No! I was hungry! Needed to get something from the kitchen- I don’t care about your alpha meeting- I didn't even know it was here!”
“Ahuh…” He drawled with a raised brow, seeing straight through your bullshit.
“Ahuh!” you mocked back.
The door opened-Nanami holding it ajar. “Sweetheart, I believe I told Choso to tell you to rest. Which one of you did not heed my instructions?”
“I-I’m going to the bathroom! Sukuna and Gojo messed up the plumbing so I gotta make the long walk.” You said with a hook of your arm. You actually have no idea if the plumbing worked in the infirmary, but it was a swift excuse!
“I thought you were going to the kitchen?”
“YES- BOTH! Duhaha!” you scoffed with a shrug of your shoulders.
Nanami pushed his glasses up while crossing his arms, a very serious glare on the lens, “If I catch you being a sneaky little bird, you will not like the repercussions. Do you understand?”
“Pfft- well, good thing-I’m not! I’m a good bird! And I don’t care what you guys have to discuss! Good day to you alphas!” You bowed and perfectly pivoted to march down the hall stiff as a board.
You heard a little snicker before the door closed behind you.
You had swiftly moved to the kitchen and grabbed the first thing you could get your hands on. Then you returned to your station, walking with the gusho you had swiped off the counter, picking a piece off, you slid it into your mouth. You walked with exaggerated aloofness, chewing slowly and peeking into the glass window. Going on your tiptoes you could hopefully see past the rosabelle bushes. Maybe you should be resting, but curiosity was much too high. The masochist in you was also willing to do the crime and the time.
Why was everyone being so damn secretive today!
You finally found a good opening to see them, ducking your head just a bit as you watched your blonde alpha speak in the middle, leading the discussion.
Everyone was paying attention to him. No one had their sights on you and they looked to have their eyes open. Perfect. You got on the ground and used as much energy as you had… your alphas having knocked out most of it… and phased just your ear past the glass.
“…Not just us but her as well. I believe this is most important.” Nanami said, having finished whatever he was saying.
“If she were to reject me, then I would leave peacefully; I do not wish to make her uncomfortable.” Choso responded.
“If that happens, then how the hell are we going to be able to have our ruts with her?” Gojo asked.
“That would be a problem we'd have to solve when we get there.” Nanami answered. "I will not force her to be with someone she doesn't want all for selfish reasons."
Getou sighed, “I don’t think there will be any issues; you guys are making a big deal out of nothing. We are the main deciders.”
“If Raven didn't like him, then there is a chance that she won't either. They are technically the same person.” Toji stated. “She barely shows any interest in him now.”
“She's being respectful.” Sukuna interjected.
“Exactly.” Getou snapped his fingers. “She's allowing us to decide first without getting attached. She's not going to do anything until she knows we accept Choso."
You heard Choso speak next, "I believe that as well, if you decided to kill me she wouldn't be upset. She loves you all...and as I said before, I am blessed by the elder dragons to have this opportunity... And I would die to be a part of your pack. Whatever I need to win your favor, I will do it. No questions asked."
Holy Tengen, they were discussing you with Choso?
You felt your energy wavering, you pulled back just as you smelt a familiar scent. Mei Mei was coming your way.
You stood swiftly. “Mei Mei! Hi, I was looking for you what a coincidence!” You smiled as the woman matched your expression.
“Aw~ You were looking for little ole me? How cute.”
“Yes… um…” You fell into stride with her, “…I wanted to ask about my time here… before I came to be.” You were using this as an excuse, but once you started talking, you realized you actually did want to know.
“Hm…” The woman hummed, “…Why would you wish to know about such terrible days?”
“I believe… it is important. Did I have any friends?”
“Absolutely not, you pushed everyone away. I think you had terrible trust issues. Trauma can do that to anyone.”
You followed the woman as she made her way through the halls. You had no idea where she was going.
“Everyone but you…What did I offer you in exchange for your help?” You quickly followed up with, “Were we close friends?” because you knew Mei Mei does nothing without a trade and you knew she also had no friends. She was a lone wolf and a loan shark combined.
That was very apparent in the game.
Nothing she does is without a cost.
Mei Mei was moving with a purposeful stride, but when you had asked her the question, she had slowed to a stop. She licked her lips before looking at you with that smile that never seems to frown, “I would find you crying all the time. I felt like I was watching a wounded bird who needed help flying again. So I took care of you. And look at you now.”
You listened to her words and gave her an awkward smile, because you felt that perhaps that wasn't the case. It just didn't make sense.
Raven was Mei Mei’s star pupil, sure, but she was crazy and probably took a great deal of work to deal with. Bullying omegas and making alphas quickly turn away. It was no wonder she could only go back home to Mahito. So for someone who was so much work… what was the catch? Raven couldn't have been expensive so it wasn't money.
Raven couldn't have been worth the stress.
Did she truly feel sympathy for her?
You decided to accept the woman's words, “You have a kind heart… to help someone you didn't know. Perhaps you should have led your family, maybe they wouldn't have turned out the way they did.”
You saw a brief drop of her mask, but she quickly fixed it within a blink of an eye. “Yes… Perhaps things could have been different if I had stayed.” She began to walk again.
“Why did you leave?” You had to quicken your pace, she was stepping a bit faster now. “I know you had said you didn't like the way G.Ma ran things but... What was your last spell?”
This must have been a sore topic for her.
“My last spell…” Mei Mei hummed, “…Hm. I never spoke about this with anyone... it feels almost weird discussing it." She chuckled amusingly. "I believe it was when my brother died. I sang his song, then I left.” She spoke so casually like this wasn't a topic of tragedy.
“I'm sorry... for your loss...”
"How sweet of you."
This conversation felt a bit awkward. You don't think you have ever seen any negative emotions on Mei Mei's expressions. Disappointment maybe, but never true anger or sorrow. None of her emotions ever seem raw.
She was an interesting woman.
There was something about her that had you eyeing her actions differently. It felt as though there was more to her.
You leaned your head to the side as the woman waved her finger around, she then pointed upward.
"Release."
“Is someone here?” You questioned watching the shield sprinkle away from the windows.
“Yes, you have visitors.”
"Me?" You blinked confused, "Someone is here to see me?" You repeated.
"Multiple someones to be exact."
You furrowed your brows finding yourself at the front entrance. Mei Mei opened the doors. You heard someone running up the steps and as soon as you took a foot out, you were tackled.
"RAVEN!"
You gasped in shock catching the blonde girl as she held you-
"Momo?!" You shouted in surprise.
"Raven! Are you okay?!" She asked pulling back, worry in her eyes.
You were taken off guard, "Momo-oh my gosh, Momo, what are you doing here! I'm ok but you- are you okay?!"
"Everything went to shit after you left!"
You heard growling, Todo walking up the steps with Junpei on his shoulder. The beta was fighting in his hold, trying to attack.
"Where is he! Where is my best friend!" Todo shouted, holding the beta with ease.
"Junpei! Todo!" you say with an audible gasp.
What the hell was going on!?
"Raven are you hurt?" Inumaki questioned while carrying Nobara on his back.
"Raven!" Nobara shouted with a wave. She hopped off Inumaki's back and ran toward you, "Are you alright? Did you get Sukuna back?"
Everything was happening so fast- you felt overwhelmed by all these faces that you called friends- you thought they hated you- you thought they wanted to see you dead, yet here they are happy as ever to see you. Asking if youwere alright.
"Yes-yes I'm fine I- are you all alright? I had-I had- I thought you all hated me?" As you said this Maki, Mai, and Panda had reached the top of the stairs. A young man with black hair and a scar on his eye was walking behind them with a quieter demeanor. "Wait- you two especially!” You pointed at the twins. “You were scared of me!"
Maki looked apologetic. "That was before Momo told us the truth."
"We can't believe Yorozu took Sukuna that was so cruel!" Nobara added with disdain in her voice.
"G.Ma tried to blame you for everything, but I told everyone what happened, and then she got mad and kicked ME out!" Momo tossed up her hands.
"Anyone who spoke on your behalf was excommunicated..." Mai continued.
"You...you all stood up for me?" You looked among them, shocked. "Even you?" You pointed your question to the fluffy bear, Mai, and the stranger. You barely knew Panda, Mai seemed to not like you, and you had no clue who the other gentleman was.
Panda looked angry as he said, "What was done was wrong! Yorozu should have never taken your alpha.”
“You don't… think I'm an evil entity?”
The bear waved his paw, “I don't believe you are an evil demon coming to kill us. I've had enough evidence to make my own judgment. With my own eyes and from what my father has told me about you.”
His father?
You couldn't question him about it before Mai huffed out, "I barely said anything, and she kicked me out!"
Ok…Sounds like she wasn't trying to be a martyr like the others, but fair enough.
The other man bowed respectfully, "I don't need to know you to understand that G.Ma made a mistake. But my name is Noritoshi Kamo."
"It's nice to meet you, I am the infamous Raven." You smiled warmly, thankful for his justice mentality. Truthfully, you didn't expect so many people to side with you. You envisioned none. You could feel your eyes burn from unshed tears. Remembering the fear in the pups' faces. "And...the girls?"
Momo looked sorrowful, "Sorry...They wanted to come too, but I was unable to get them..."
"Oh...that..." You couldn't believe it. You burst with a little sob...Momo thought she had told you horrible news.
She comforted you with pain in her voice, "I'm sorry Raven- I'm so sorry..."
"No-no you did nothing wrong, I'm just-” you could barely speak before someone swooped behind you and grabbed you back-
“What the hell are you doing here?” Toji growled protecting you.
“You come here to hurt Raven!” Choso shouted with his hands up ready to strike.
“How could you betray us Inumaki i trusted you with my secrets!”
“You’ve come to piss me off.” Sukuna hissed.
“If you u guys are going to fight take it outside my property.” Mei Mei sighed.
“GUYS NO!” You waved your hands- your alphas all ready to shed blood.
“Gojo you silly alpha! We are here because we got kicked out!” Momo shook her fist.
“Yeah, boys put your teeth away. We are not the enemy.” Nobara poked the trident Sukuna had aimed at her.
“Inumaki Momo I knew you wouldn't betray us, not after all the diabolical things Gojo shared with you.” Getou was the only one who knew they were not here as enemies.
“If they aren't here to attack…”
“Why are you crying?”
“That was my fault... I wasn’t able to bring the pups...”
Before Momo could sink into her fault you stepped forward and grabbed her shoulders. “Momo, I thank you… I thank you so much for standing up for me. And I'm not upset you couldn't get the girls. I'm just…so happy they don't hate me. I'm happy they aren't scared of me. I'm happy all of you had put your faith in me. That is more than I ever could ask for." You sniffled, wiping away your tears. You couldn't believe it. You had just accepted your fate. Feeling as though they all wanted you dead, including the pups but no... they understood.
They weren't afraid of you.
They were on your side.
Momo smiled the two of you hugging each other at the same time. “I'm so glad- of course I spoke up! What G.Ma was saying was not true! You aren't a monster!”
"My goodness, what kind of drama have you been getting into?" Mei Mei questioned from behind. Funny enough she knew exactly what kind because she had been a part of it before.
"Sorry Ms. Mei Mei, we have personal pack issues." Inumaki apologized not knowing that Mei Mei knew they were witches. No one besides G.Ma and now your pack knows that Mei Mei is a witch.
"I understand deary, I would offer a room for you all to stay in but some barbarians destroyed the guest wing."
"What? Who did that?" Nobara questioned.
"My alphas had a little quarrel..." You chuckled lightly.
“A little?” Getou snorted.
"What happened?" Inumaki looked right at Gojo.
“What- why are you asking me?”
"Did you and Sukuna get in an argument?" Momo added.
Your alphas in question grumbled in annoyance.
“What if it was Nanami huh?!”
“Nanami wouldn't do something so pupish.”
“Hey!”
You released a laugh, loving that your betas knew the culprits. You felt so warm, having them with you again. It felt like nothing had changed.
"Yuji!" Todo ran past, dropping Junpei on the ground all tied up and fidgety.
"Oh my Tengen!" Yuji shouted from down the hall.
You watched as the two lovingly ran toward each other, arms wide open.
"Best Friend!"
It was beautiful…
"Junpei!" Yuji flew past Todo as he hugged the air.
The beta instead picked up Junpei.
"Junpei! It's you!" Yuji cried swinging him around.
"I-I protected him! For you." Todo spoke with a little cough, trying to recover from the embarrassing moment.
"Thanks, Todo! You are the best." Yuji flashed him a thumbs up, making the alpha grin happily.
"Anything for my best friend."
Yuji's charm rivaled yours. Maybe it's a star hero thing.
~
You were within the grand room where you had performed your dance. It was the only place that could hold everyone without disturbing the other omegas. Seeing as your alphas destroyed the guest wing…
It brought back unwanted memories that you pushed away in favor of your friends being here.
You were sitting with everyone at one of the round tables, Junpei no longer trying to kill anyone. Once he was in control again, you hugged him and apologized profusely for leaving him.
In which he replied - “Radaaa radaaa.”
And Yuji translated his words to, “It’s okay.”
Momo was busy explaining what had happened. The newcomers were eating, hungry from their travels.
"I told G.Ma that even though you may have summoned those shadow things, it doesn't mean you were the one that sent the first attack! Your creatures didn't try to harm us but those other ones did! She made up this crazy conspiracy theory! That you did all of this to steal the book and Yuji so you could summon the Thing! I tried to reason with her that you could have easily done that if you had let the monsters kill us the first time but you saved us!" She took a breather to eat some food. "It was like talking to a brick wall! Then- she told the others to throw me in the dungeon! Everyone dragged me to the cells! It was scary! Like they turned on me so quick! I thought they were my family! Why- why would they be so cruel…” She finished with a sad expression.
“I was just as surprised.” Nobara added. “I've known G.Ma since I was born. How could she?”
You felt an ache, seeing their pain. “I'm sorry… She is scared of me, and because you all tried to help me you were punished…”
“It’s just...” Momo huffed, “I never expected her to go that far! Like I was some hidden agent! She knows me! And when they started backing me up she just kicked us all out! The pups tried to come with but…G.Ma didn't let them.”
“On the plus side…I know they don't hate me and G.Ma won’t hurt them. They are safe there…” You had things you needed to take care of before you got your pups.
You will get them.
"Well...I hate to say it, but someone did take the book. Did you do that?" Maki pointed out.
"Uh...well-”
“She did.” Getou stated. “But that doesn't make her the enemy.”
You side-eyed your alpha, understanding swiftly why he said you took it. “Yes. I did...but the book is dangerous for a different reason. If you challenge the Shikigami, it would be to the death. I believe she was making sure no one would try by raising superstitions. We are holding on to it so no one will get hurt." If they came this far for you then they should know the truth. At least part of the truth. You and Getou seemed to understand that telling them Choso was able to pick up the prison book would only lead to more questions you have yet to find the answers to.
“She never really told us why the book was bad… but I believe that's because she herself doesn't know.” Mai stated with an air of aloofness. She couldn't care less about being here, that's for sure.
You shook your head, “I believe she does what she needs to protect her family but it’s doing more harm than good.”
“This whole thing just set her on overdrive crazy!” Momo exasperated.
”You need someone else to run your family, that old woman thought my friend was evil!” Todo crossed his arms.
Maki agreed, “Yes, Someone who is fair and level-headed.”
“I wish it was Rika; I believe she was a better fit.” Nobara sank into her seat.
“Rika?” You questioned the suggestion. “Yuta’s omega?”
Maki nodded, “Rika wanted to challenge G.Ma for the position, but that was before the accident.”
How convenient… You mused.
“Nanami! Can I send Nagi the good news about Junpei?” Yuji asked excitedly.
“No need, we stopped by there on our way,” Nobara informed.
“You did?” Nanami furrowed his brows. “What did the woman say about her son's condition?”
“She was happy Junpei was alive. And more worried about you, to be honest.” Nobara looked toward you as if you were about to burst at the seams. "Said you didn't seem at all like yourself."
“I…I lost myself for a moment after everything, but… I had a wonderful pack that helped me during my time of distress.” You spoke softly, setting your alphas with an appreciative look.
"What...did you guys do with Yorozu?" Kamo questioned.
You looked at your alphas, hoping they had something better to say.
"She's lucky she's alive." Sukuna stated.
Guess that is better.
That seemed to be good enough because the witch turned his attention to Choso. “I had noticed you use Blood spells.”
Choso looked at him critically. "And?
“I do as well.”
That took Choso by surprise. “Impossible? My father had told me the blood-using pack had perished.”
The man smirked, “Yes, my family is gone. I don't even know if my mother lives. I am the sole survivor.”
“That's unfortunate…”
“It is… I have nowhere else to go. I was wondering if I could seek refuge within your palace?”
“Us as well…” Maki spoke up. “…If our clan finds out we are still alive... We could be in danger.”
"Uh- it's not my place to give permission." Choso looked toward you.
“Alphas?” You wanted to say yes, but it was important to check in with the others.
“We have plenty of space for everyone.” Nanami agreed. “I already have more housing being built.”
“Y-you do?” You questioned in astonishment.
Sukuna snorted, “With the way you collect people, why are you surprised?”
“Hey!”
“She has to catch them all.”
“I'm not freaking Ash Ketchum!”
“Who is that?”
“It’s this guy that catches creatures!” Momo spoke excitedly.
“Yeah, these pal things,” Gojo said.
“They are called Pokémons.” Choso huffed. You thought that it was cute that he made sure no one botched your stories.
“A summoner perhaps?” Panda inquired.
“Kinda-”
“What is his type of omega?”
“I- what the I don't know he's underage he hasn't even presented yet! He's just trying to be the best that no one ever was!”
“Our girl is an omega catcher.”
“Gojo-!”
“What is your type of omega?”
“I don't-”
“All of them.”
“Oooo~ Raven, I didn't know you liked omegas.” Nobara teased.
“I-gah I have a few that I like!”
“I fucking knew it.”
“She likes betas too.”
“Rada Rada?”
“Great question Junpei, what about shikigami’s?”
“Yuji no-”
“She goes for those too.”
“I- You guys! What the hell!” You shouted in frustration, but as everyone started laughing, you fell into a laughing fit too.
You had absolutely missed this lovely chatter.
“What the fuck!” Megumi had burst through the doors.
“Oh hey, Megumi, look, everyone is here!” Yuji jumped up excitedly.
“I’ve been working my ass off out there picking up after their mess, and you are all in here having a reunion?! I thought you went to grab something to eat!”
“…” That had the room go silent.
Yuji started sweating, “Uh- I got distracted!”
“Great to see you too Megumi! Don't worry I will sing you a beautiful song for this wrongdoing ahem-.” Nobara stood.
"Please don't-"
“Do you guys need help?” Maki asked while standing up.
“That's so sweet of you~Such a sweet beta.” Getou stated with an exaggerated flutter of his lashes.
“I mean… we can’t go home until it's done soooo…” Gojo began looking at everyone else around the table. “Can you help-”
“Yes, Gojo.”
“Great, so glad to have you guys back.”
“Your pack is so weird.” Mai scoffed.
“Come on, Mai.” Maki dragged her sister along.
“I'll help if my best friend wants me to help.” Todo stood proudly.
“Sure, the more the merrier I guess.”
“This alpha is your best friend?” Choso questioned Yuji.
“He's…He's uh, I guess.” Yuji shrugged.
“As much as he is your brother.” Megumi stated with a roll of his eyes, making Sukuna snicker.
“Of course he found that funny.” Getou whispered, making you laugh.
“It was a little funny.” Nanami had let out a respectful chuckle.
"I'll be sure to make chimichangas after we are done!" Panda shouted, making some whoop with a cheer.
"We literally just ate!"
"You will be hungry after you are done working!"
You had never been so excited to do manual labor.
