House of Alphas Chapter 162: Vacation is Where I wanna Be (Patreon)

“Get your Choso doll~ come get your Choso doll! Gojo, Sukuna, you better get over here!” Momo shouted, waving the dolls at your alphas.
You and Nobara snickered, your alphas trudging over and snatching the dolls from her.
You moved with the beta, “Thanks for making the dolls, Nobara, and sorry Sukuna threatened you.”
She snorted, “Oh, please, I’m one of your favorite singers I knew he wouldn’t do anything. I just fixed it because he was annoying me.”
You laughed at her words. You could smell your scent on her. Though she wasn't your favorite singer, you could tell you were rubbing off on her. Giving her the golden pass of not being killed by Sukuna for any minor inconvenience.
You were content, borderline overjoyed.
Borderline.
A few alarming bells were going off in your head.
First bell- your spy Mai. You knew your alphas were keeping a critical eye on her, so you felt a little better about that. If anything seemed out of the ordinary, they would handle it swiftly. You had faith in them to do that.
But your second bell…Toji’s damn letter had you biting your fingers in anxiety. You wanted to have faith in them to handle it- and you do! You just wanted to know what it was that they had to deal with. That’s what made you scared, they refused to tell you! So your mind already believes it’s SUPER BAD. Do they not understand your anxiety and overreacting brain?!
Then there was your final bell- Dove’s message. You had read it this morning, and there was nothing bad in it. Not a hint that she was in any danger. If anything, she sounded like she was genuinely having a good time, just like the first letter.
You read both of her notes over and over again, trying to pull apart any secret hidden messages. Tried to read between the lines, but you found nothing. You even turned on your light eyes, your shadow eyes, and still nothing to reveal.
Was this truly her?
It smelled like her.
It sounded like her, but you couldn’t believe that the villains of this story were giving her the princess treatment. Well, you wouldn’t necessarily call it princess treatment. Mahito sure wasn’t nice...he punished her constantly and would even trick her, which she reasoned with lovingly.
Almost how she reacts to Sukuna in the game.
Was she just a masochist enjoying Mahito’s sick sadism?
Could that actually be possible?
Thinking back to it, Sukuna had spoken on behalf of his game self, saying he probably only hurt Dove because he could. And she’d enjoy every second of it. She didn’t bust out crying like you do when it came to being punished. To get the best love points, you would pick the option asking for it. She’d take it with a smile.
So maybe… just maybe that’s what could be happening now.
Could she be handling her torment… well?
Or maybe she was under some spell?
A part of you was hopeful, and another part of you was upset at trying to hold on to this feeling.
You wanted to call Mahito. Find out clues and see if you could get him to spill the truth. Perhaps you can sneak off and make the call alone in your bathroom. If your alphas could have their secrets to protect you, then you should be able to do the same.
“What are you thinking about?” Nanami questioned as he put you on your horse.
You smiled softly. “Just a lot of things on my mind, nothing to bother you with.”
Your blonde tilted his head as he made sure your saddle was secure for the third time. “I want you to take this calm moment to relax and enjoy your time with your friends. Give me all your thoughts and worries. Okay?”
“Will do alpha.”
Yes…This was supposed to be a sort of vacation… even you could admit your pack needed this break… but you realized it was so hard to sit back when there was still so much going on around you. Just because you are taking time off doesn’t mean the bad guys are too… the world stops for no one-
“If you don’t get out of your head, I will be sure to force you out.”
“Apologies alpha!”
Man, you should get a curse mark again so you can get away with everything. With your attitude, your ass was gonna be on fire.
~
Cheers… an abundance of cheers and excitement came from the townspeople.
“The prime alphas have returned!”
“Thank you for taking care of the Chi village!”
“Great job on saving those omegas and betas!”
“Aika is safe once again!”
“Our prime omega is so beautiful and strong!”
You waved at the people as you moved through the town. Your boys created a circle around you, not allowing anyone to get too close. It was still overwhelming to have all these faces greet you as you rode the dirt path.
The ones shouting about the Chi village made you internally frown. However, you kept yourself from thinking about it too much. You didn’t want to spiral into your moral wormhole.
“Raven!”
You heard someone in the sea of noise. A familiar voice.
You looked to see Kanjé standing on something, waving above the others. Sago squeezed onto the platform, trying to get your attention as well. They looked so lovely and healthy. Each day they just look better and better than their former selves from that underground hell. Wearing more elegant attire thanks to the hospitality of Nanami.
Seeing them made you beam with excitement. “Kanjé! Sago!” You shouted and blew a kiss.
They gasped, squealed, and then fainted.
“Careful now, your charm might kill them.”
You grinned at Getou’s words.
It was nice to be praised by the town, but you were extremely relieved when you made it to the castle. You felt an unnatural pull to your room. Like your bed was luring you to it like a siren.
“Home, sweet home.” Gojo nearly mirrored your own thoughts.
“This place is gorgeous…” Nobara complimented.
“I’ll show you around after dinner!” Momo said excitedly.
“It’s so hot.” Panda whimpered, already sweating.
“Let’s get you some cooling rings big guy.” Maki offered.
Everyone got off their horses, and you smelled something absolutely delicious.
Your nose twitched. “Oh my Tengen, what is that smell!”
“It smells so good.” Yuji’s mouth watered.
“It must be that new chef.”
“Yeah, this couldn’t be Miwa’s cooking.”
Your alphas joked.
Sadly, you kind of agreed. But that wasn’t to say Miwa was a bad cook!
Uraume was standing at the top of the steps with their hands clasped respectfully. They had a light smile on their face. Even with this slight expression, you knew they were ecstatic to see you.
“Uraume!” You greeted them with a bow. Knowing about their touch sensitivity. “You look lovely. How has our home been treating you?”
Uraume shyly tucked some hair behind their ear. “Everyone has been very respectful and kind, thank you. I’m happy your alphas brought you back in one piece, I thought I would have to cook them for supper.”
“We wouldn’t let anything happen to our princess.” Toji huffed in annoyance. There was a hint of something in his words. It didn't have as much kick to it as it did before. Almost like he was afraid he couldn't hold true to that statement.
You pocketed that for later.
Uraume all but ignored Toji, “Food shall be ready within an hour. Please wash off your travels and come to the dining room once you are done.”
You squeeze Toji’s arm gently, comforting him while talking to the beta, “Thank you, Uraume. It smells so good I can’t wait to eat whatever you have prepared.” You almost wanted to skip the pleasantries and go straight for the kitchen. “Oh! Would you mind if we had a bit more for dinner?” You gestured to the others behind you.
“Of course, I made plenty. Some of the others that are still here wanted to attend, if that is alright with your alphas.”
You looked at Toji, who nodded. “It’s fine.”
“The more the merrier.” Gojo shrugged.
You didn’t notice Kasukabe until he spoke, “Welcome home, alphas. I see you have grown your pack even more so.” He seemed amused by the extra people you had brought along.
“Talk to our omega she’s adopting the entire world.” You didn’t see Sukuna’s face, but you knew he rolled his eyes.
“He’s exaggerating.” You cut in.
“There is no reason to minimize your heart of gold sweetheart.“ Nanami defended you.
“Wait- do you guys really believe I’m trying to adopt EVERYONE!”
“If that is what you wish, but I don’t think we could build enough to accommodate everyone. I will have to put more thought into it.” He mused, trying to make an impossible task possible all for the sake of you. “Kasukabe, let us head to my office.” He finished leaving with the beta.
Sukuna snorted, “We know the truth.” And he too was leaving before you could think of a witty comment.
You were NOT trying to adopt everyone! Only a select few, dang it!
“Show them to the guest wing,” Getou instructed the servants.
“Yessir.” They bowed.
Toji kissed you upon your head. “I’m gonna take a nap.”
“Ok alpha. I’ll see you all in a bit.” You bowed to everyone and made your way to your room.
You couldn’t help the smile on your face as you made it closer to your chamber. When you got there, you jumped on your bed face down and purred into it. Finally home. Finally back within your nest. It was soooo nice. It felt like your own little safe space. It felt cozy… like when you hide in a blanket fort.
You had noticed an immediate shift when you had stepped inside the castle, and then coming into your room was the cherry on top.
This was your home.
You missed it so much.
You didn’t want to leave.
But you had people to see and places to be.
You stepped into the bathroom and closed the door behind you with your body. Leaning against it, you looked at your hand. You could call him quickly… no one would know a thing. But what if something goes wrong? You didn’t have Yuta here as a safety net. You also didn’t have Choso to disconnect the call by force. You had no one to come to your aid if something happened.
Should you speak with your alphas and tell them what you wanted to do? Then they’d question how you knew the spell, and then you would have to come clean with the truth, and let’s be honest, you were already in deep waters. Maybe you could say you’d like to try to do it. Play ignorant. But Sukuna might smell bullshit. He was good at that.
“Fuck…” You clenched your fist and dropped it. You were feeling stressed about the whole ordeal. Maybe this wasn’t something you should do alone.
Dove will be fine… You will see her for your second ceremony. That was about a month away. Will she be alright until then? Will she survive?
Your stomach felt so uneasy. It made you sick thinking about something that was so far out of your control. Were you doing enough? Were you trying hard enough?
You shook your head and slammed your hands on the sink, “You need to relax.” You said to yourself in the mirror. “You.” You pointed at your reflection with a glare. “Relax!” You gave yourself a nod.
You take your time getting ready.
If this were the peace within the storm, then you wanted to take advantage of it before everything goes to shit again.
~
“Hmm~ I see you are quite impressive with your skills, but perhaps a mix of spicy poppers will bring the flavors all together!”
“Get out of my kitchen, you animal!”
“Hey, I’m the head chef this is MY kitchen!”
You heard a lot of commotion coming from the kitchen. Stepping into the area, you found Uraume, Miwa, and Panda fighting over a large jar of poppers. Each one had two hands on it as they pulled back and forth.
“Your kitchen! You wouldn’t know how to pour water from a pot if the instructions were on the bottom!”
“Who would write the instructions on the bottom- that sounds silly?!”
“It’s not silly, I do it all the time!”
You let out a little laugh, pausing the fight.
Uraume’s eyes lit up, “Raven! I-I was getting your food prepared, but these two were trying to mess things up!” They snapped a top on the pot just as Panda tried to drop a popper into it. “Make your own dish, bear! This is for Raven.” Pulling the whole pot off the stove, they moved toward you, blushing a bit. “I’m sorry it’s not ready yet there are some NUISANCES- Ahem-please forgive me for my tardiness.”
“It’s ok!” You waved your hands, “I can’t wait to eat your food-“
“No Raven! Have my meal!” Miwa shouted, butting in with a pot of her own, making Uraume hiss at her.
“She’s eating my dish! You nuisance!”
Miwa gasped, “I’m the nuisance?!”
“Yes! Both of you are!”
“I’m trying to help you broaden your horizon!” Panda shouted.
“It’s fine guys! I can try both meals.” You smiled, hoping to stop the food fight.
“Extra poppers anyone?” Panda questioned above the two fighting chefs.
“Sorry, Panda, those things are suuuper spicy, that’s more Toji’s taste.”
Miwa beamed, “Yes, I know that’s why I was making Toji’s extra spicy, because I know what everyone likes!” Miwa shouted. “I already added plenty.” She gestured with her head to a pan on the stove
“Ah~ then I shall add it to his food!” Panda dumped the entire jar into the sauce. The food burst into flames, but Panda blew on it gently and stirred it while humming and dancing. “Perhaps one more jar shall do!”
“No! Don’t add any more, you silly bear. I’m not trying to kill our alpha!” Miwa snipped.
Uraume looked at you with a sweet expression. “Raven, I know you said you’d try both meals, but you shouldn’t sully your appetite with that filth.”
“Filth!? I’ve had it with you!” Miwa bumped her pot into Uraume’s as they growled at each other.
“Guys-“
“Aye, you two, stop fighting before you drop that on my omega.” Gojo pulled you away. “We don’t want a repeat of what happened last time.” He stated sternly.
It always throws you off to see him with such a serious attitude.
Uraume straightened up, clearing their throat, “You are right alpha, I wasn’t trying to put Raven in danger. I know I am the better chef, but suppose I can entertain the wannabe and make it a contest.”
“Raven will like my food better, I’ve been cooking for her longer!” Miwa pouted.
“Sounds good, just make sure mine is extra sugary!” Gojo pulled you along. As soon as you left, you heard the ruckus come back full force.
“I hope they don’t kill each other.” You sighed.
“Maybe you should stop the fight and tell them the truth. You know who the better chef is.” He looked at you with a playful grin.
“I know! I just feel so bad.”
Your alpha chuckled, “Your harem is here, we can hang out with them while we wait.” He stated, opening the doors to the main dining room.
You were met with squeals before you could register who was there.
“Raven!”
“Tell us of your journey!”
“Tell us some of your stories!”
It was a good bit of the omegas and betas you had saved. Some of them were not here due to going home or finding a pack to be a part of.
Gojo waved them down, “Calm down before you overwhelm her.”
“Sorry!” They quieted down, looking like they were about to boil over and burst.
The tables were set up in a ‘U’ shape, your alpha took you to the one in the center. Your spot was smack in the middle of it. The others shuffled around the front of your table.
Gojo pulled the chair out as you sat. “Thank you… ok…. You guys want to hear about my adventure?”
“Yes!”
“Tell us everything!”
“Spare us no details!”
“Haha…” you knew you would be sparing many details. “…Where do I even begin…so after we had separated my pack had gone to Kobeq… and there I met this beautiful omega named Tigress and her sweet pack. I thought she was a bitch at first-“
“They fought each other.” Gojo added.
“No way!”
You laughed, “Yes, it did NOT start well…”
…
You told your story, interchanging very very important details, like how the Chi village was burning a witch when you had arrived. Instead, you said they were curse spirits attacking a mother and her pups. You told them how you were too late to save the mother. They thought you were so kind to take the pups to their grandmother. You also left out anything too sensitive you didn’t want to talk about… for example…all of your fights with your alphas, being one of them… and Sukuna being kidnapped… and how you wanted to adopt the pups but couldn’t.
Truly, it was a boring story to you without all the meat and potatoes, but your entourage didn’t mind.
They loved it.
Gojo was your conversation partner. Pouring everyone a glass of wine, he’d crack jokes and playfully bicker with you like a loving couple. He’d exaggerate a lot of things and add some pizzazz to your story that made everyone laugh.
He’d even jump in if someone asked a question you weren’t too comfortable with answering. He was such a good host. He’d for sure be that guy who would throw house parties every weekend and wear outrageous outfits with a fuzzy scarf and funky sunglasses.
But most importantly, he made sure you were comfortable throughout the whole thing. You were happy to have him shoulder the attention.
To be your anchor in a sea of people. Because they don’t know all of you. They don’t know what you had truly been through.
The darkest moments… the ugly parts of your story.
But Satoru knew.
With his bubbly attitude and act of aloofness, you realize how effectively he uses it to lead a conversation.
Something about it made you feel warm.
You found yourself holding his hand under the table... You don’t know how that happened. You don’t know if you reached for him first or your hands just naturally migrated to each other. But it was comforting.
“And… now we are here.” You finished.
“Traveling seems so fun, I want a traveling pack!”
“I like staying in one place.”
“Yeah, that sounds so exhausting, constantly moving.” Someone said.
“It was…now we are taking a much-needed break, spending time with each other.” You squeezed Gojo’s hand. He looked at you with a light smile. His expression was longing. Longing for this time to spend with you.
“Yeah, I have to take my girl out on a very special date.”
Your eyes widened as everyone really cheered at the idea.
“That’s so cute!”
“What do you have planned?”
“It’s a secret.” Gojo put a finger to his lips. “Buuut. It’s happening this weekend, so I’m going to need you guys to take her shopping for something nice for me, okay?”
“YES YES!”
“What?” You looked at Gojo with blinking eyes, “What do you have planned mister?”
“It’s a secret! But enough about us, what have you guys been up to?” Gojo directed the conversation elsewhere
What did this alpha have scheduled this weekend, dammit!
You felt excited, trying to listen to the others as they spoke about themselves.
“Ika- Ika tell them!” Sago urged the boy.
“I-well…” he blushed, “I-I think I met a nice alpha… I just wasn’t sure if he was from a good pack. So I asked Kasukabe to look into him.”
“You should have seen them, he couldn’t stop giggling- he was like tehehehe~!” Kanjé released a teasing laugh with a flutter of her eyes and a clasp of her hands.
“I-I was not like that!”
“Oh alpha what big eyes you have~!”
“The more to gaze at you with my darling omega~!”
The others played like Ika and his alpha lover.
“Aw, that’s so sweet.” You cooed at him.
The omega pointed at Sago and Kanjé, “Well, what about you guys! I saw the way you were all over that older alpha!”
“We-we did no such thing!”
“Hi hi~!” Yuji busted into the door.
“Hey Yuji! Come meet everyone!”
The others trickled in. You introduced the two groups to each other, and Gojo poured more wine. You were super surprised to see Mai was also joining dinner, even if she beelined straight for a seat at the edge of the table.
Your alphas made their way in but took a seat after they greeted you. They weren’t the social butterflies like Getou and Gojo. The only thing that had you inwardly raising a brow was Sukuna’s attire. He wore his white robe and blue scarf. He was clearly hiding his sub collar.
You and everyone else have not even pointed it out. Everyone just ignored it, but you bet he felt like EVERYONE was looking at it or talking about it.
The poor insecure fool.
Before Todo could complain about being hungry, Panda had twirled in and popped up on one foot. “Dinner is ready!” The bear shouted ringing a bell. “Sit sit!”
Gojo was next to you while Nanami was to your right. As everyone sat, you noticed Choso was missing.
“Hey, where is Choso?” You questioned, looking back and forth for the beta.
“He had gone into town, said he wanted to purchase some things.” Getou informed you.
“Still?” Nanami questioned, “He’s been out ever since we got back…”
“Maybe he’s running away.” Gojo snorted, leaning back.
“That would be despicable if that is true.” Nanami spoke in disgust.
“I would hunt him down and kill him if he did that.” Toji grumbled from the other side of Nanami.
You couldn’t really hear Sukuna since he was sitting next to Toji, but you were pretty sure he said, ‘Same.’
“He would not run away.” You said with confidence and a pinch of pride.
“You speak so surely.” Getou teased.
“He wouldn’t do that. He’s a good boy.” You said without even thinking about it. You don’t know when these strong possesive feelings came about with Choso. It was almost like he was yours. It was definitely Getou’s fault.
Gojo’s eyes cut to you, his lips slightly parted as if he wanted to say something, but Panda was talking again.
“Alright!” The three chefs stood in the middle as the bear spoke, “We have a few meals for everyone to try! A fight for whose dish is the tastiest- the yummiest- the greatest!” Panda raised his paws as betas came out with carts of food.
Everyone clapped and whooped.
Panda was certainly a character.
“We won’t tell you whose is whose!” Miwa said with a polite point of her finger, “You will have to rate the dishes for what you like best! We made a lot of different things, so pick your favorite!”
“Don’t be afraid to say which one is the worst.” Uraume stated smugly.
Miwa’s eyebrow twitches in irritation.
You know you never thought of these two battling out in the kitchen. You felt like you were a judge in one of those chef shows you’d watch back at home.
Your stomach growled as the plates were set in front of you, but there was one dish that had your eyes watering. The steam might as well be pepper spray.
Leaning away, you tried to conceal your expression. You knew for sure that was Panda’s! If you take a bite of you might die.
“Please enjoy!” The chefs bowed.
“Let’s try this one first.” Nanami stated, picking up his fancy chopsticks.
You picked up your sticks and dug in, taking a bite. You chewed along with Nanami, nodding your head, “Mm…this is pretty good.” You felt a sort of spark in your belly, like you were gaining energy with each chew. It actually tasted really good, and seeing Miwa light up told you that she made it.
“It’s good.” Nanami commented.
“Not enough sugar.” Gojo clicked his tongue.
You snorted, taking another bite. Yes, this food was good, your curse energy seemed to pulse now. As if it too was delighted by the food. You never had that happen before. Pointing at your plate, you say, “I like how this tastes, the meat isn’t too chewy, and it has an interesting flavor to it. Did you add any potions?” You questioned, taking another bite.
“Ah ah! If any of us says anything, then you will know whose is whose!” Panda cut in like a ref.
“Panda, we already know which one is yours!” Maki shouted.
“No, you don’t!”
“ I’m pretty sure it’s the one that’s going to put us in the infirmary.”
“Is he normally like this?”
“No, it gets worse.”
“Wait till you get to know Todo.”
You giggled, loving how wholesome this dinner felt.
All these people around, whom you have saved and influenced in some way.
How could a group feel so small and big at the same time?
You took another bite of your meal, it felt like it was giving you life. “Mm~what meat is this? We need more of it.” You lean over to Nanami.
“You’ve had golden Deira before, darling. Does it taste different?”
“Hm, it must be the sauce she used. Whatever she did, it tasted great.”
“Hey Nanami, are we still good for this weekend?” Gojo questioned.
“Good for what?”
“M-my thing you know…”
“No, that’s next week. My thing is this weekend.”
“Y-your thing!”
“Yes. I already told you.”
“Nooo, I already told her I was taking her out on a date. How can I wait till next week!”
“Not my fault you got your days mixed up. This weekend is mine.”
“You aren’t going to last that long.” Getou chuckled.
Gojo groaned, “Yuji, erase my memory!”
“What why?!” the boy shouted with his mouth full.
You snickered, looking at Nanami with flutters of your lashes. “I’m sorry, I had no idea I had plans this weekend.”
“You do. I already told everyone before we got back, Gojo’s date is next week.”
“Mmm~ sounds like fun alpha.” You then looked at Gojo and patted his hand. “I don’t want to know about our date, so don’t spoil it! Can you do that for me?”
Gojo pursed his lips and bobbed his head left and right. “Ah, alright, fine. I can try. I could have sworn Nanami told me it was this weekend-“
“I can assure you I did not.”
“Put the blood oath on it!”
“Settle down Gojo. You just said you’d behave for our darling, don’t make her punish you.”
That had Gojo sitting back with a kind of tightness in his neck. He looked at you, and you had to keep your head held up high and proud as you said, “I will gag you until next week alpha.” You had to show him you meant business.
“I… I said alright.” He gulped, adjusting himself under the table.
With a quick look around, you didn’t see anyone staring at you. Being the bold omega you are, tonight you reached over and rubbed his hard-on.
Whispering in his ear.
“I like when you are good for me.”
His hips twitched, and he let out a low groan. Before he could get too riled up, you pulled your hand away and sent Getou a wink.
See, you can handle your brat just fine!
With a winning smile, you continued with your dinner.
You will take the time to relax. Enjoy your alphas. Your friends. Your home. Enjoy this peace and quiet. Hold on to it for as long as you can.
Life is good right now.
“Has anyone tried my spicy dish yet?!”
“No, Panda!”
“Come on, give it a try! You have to eat it so we can rate whose is the best!”
“It’s really good, my favorite.” Toji commented, looking like he was in a sauna, dripping with sweat. As he spoke, puffs of smoke came out of his mouth.
“See! Now everyone try it!” The panda huffed in frustration.
Sukuna grunted, annoyance in his tone. “I don’t like any of this shit; give me my usual.”
“Come on Sukuna, widen your palate.” Gojo shouted at him wanting to see the alpha bite the spicy food that everyone was clearly avoiding. (Except Toji)
“Eat my meal alpha, you will find it is to your liking.” Miwa bristled with confidence.
“He already tried your meal idiot.” Uraume rolled their eyes.
“Huh?” Miwa looked confused. “Oh well, it should have… oh no, did they mix up the plates?” She looked around fearfully.
“Ugh, who has it?” Getou gagged.
“Has what?” The others echoed your very own confusion.
“Did you add in his special ingredient?” Nanami asked with a knowing tone.
“I-I did e-everyone stop eating!” Miwa was panicked.
As you chewed, your throat ran dry, and you froze.
Dear Tengen…
“What was the ingredient?”
“Was it something nasty?”
"Sukuna likes to eat different meat." Yuji said, knowing about his brother's habits but not outright outing him.
"What kind of meat?"
You were still frozen, hoping someone else would say that they were the unfortunate one to get the mix-up. But something in your gut told you otherwise.
Miwa moved down the row and stopped at you, her eyes widening. "Oh my Tengen." She gasped with her hands in front of her mouth.
Nanami looked at you, and recognition flashed in his eyes, “Sweetheart-“
“Mm!” You gagged, mouth full of bile-
“Get her a bucke-!”
“MOVE!”
You tried your best to hold it in, trying not to make a mess all over yourself, in front of everyone- hand slapped to your mouth.
Someone had grabbed you, and you moved in a blur.
Vomit spewed from your lips, past the cracks of your fingers, but you found yourself in front of a bush.
Your stomach lurched, and you just shut your eyes and allowed your body to spew everything.
“Fawwwwk.” You drawled miserably.
“Ah- yeah, that sucks so bad sorry-I didn't think we would make it to the bathroom-there there, let it all out baby.” Gojo patted your back like your drunken buddy holding your hair.
He must have flown the two of you out the window so he could get you to a private space to gag. You would thank him for his quick thinking after you brushed your teeth for five days straight.
You heard multiple people running toward you.
“Ugh- I don’t want anyone to see me like this Gojo.” You hiccuped another helping. You may just turn vegetarian after this. How will you ever look at meat the same?
“It’s the others, do you want them here?”
“What? Why wouldn’t she want us here?” You heard Getou say, then he was next to you, “Aw, darling, are you alright?”
You shook your head, “I’m going to cut out my tongue.”
“What’s wrong with your tongue?” Nanami questioned in fear.
“Nothing- she’s being dramatic. The food wasn’t bad.” Sukuna scoffed.
“You tried it on the way out?” Gojo snorted.
“Wanted to see why she was throwing up. It was delicious a perfectly cooked meal gone to waste. I would say the best out of all of them."
“She did say it was good…”
“If she said it was good, then what’s the problem?”
You turned your head to glare at Sukuna. You were afraid that if you opened your mouth, you wouldn’t be able to get words out.
Nanami clicked his tongue, “Perhaps this is a mental issue?”
“Of course it is, that’s disgusting!” Getou shouted. “Was this a clean person or not? How would Miwa know?”
“Ugh stooop-“ you groaned and went for another round.
“What? Want me to kill the annoying beta?” Sukuna shouted over your noises.
You breathed a sigh hanging your head down with a small shake of your head. Exhausted from your body ejecting everything out. It felt like it was trying to get rid of your organs along with it.
“Here… let me help you wipe your mouth.” Toji had brought napkins along.
“What’s going on?” Choso had made his appearance. “Why is she- did someone poison her?”
“No, poison. She ate a meal that was meant for Sukuna, and it didn’t quite agree with her stomach.”
“I mean, technically, she did like it.”
“So it didn’t agree with her brain?”
“I think that’s the way to go, buddy.”
You let out an annoyed groan, wanting them to shut up about how you enjoyed eating the food when that was NOT THE POINT!
“A mix-up…? Is the person responsible for this being dealt with?” Choso questioned with haste.
Sukuna chuckled, “Trying to figure that out.”
“Hush, Sukuna, and don’t be so barbaric Choso.” Getou chastised.
“It’s not barbaric, she’s clearly been affected by this mistake.” Choso said with worry, "What if she gets sick?"
“I can see that.” Toji agreed.
Instead of speaking, you held a finger up and wagged it at them to say ‘no’.
“She’s clearly delirious- let’s have a vote.” Sukuna grinned. “Someone should get punished for this.” He raised a hand, and so did Toji and Choso. You glared at the beta.
“Don’t look at me like that.”
“Don’t try to manipulate him with your face.” Sukuna remarked snidely.
“This is the good boy you were talking about?” Gojo whispered to you, then popped up, “I vote with my baby.”
Can you just throw up in peace?
“What if... this was something you were allergic to?” Nanami began to think. “Yes, a mix-up like this could have been fatal...”
You finally felt like there was no more for you to expel. Using the napkins, you cleaned yourself up. "If you guys are going to punish someone, that's fine just don't kill anyone."
"Yes, we still need that chef alive." Getou stated sternly. "It is essential in keeping our omega safe."
Choso's brow quirked, but Sukuna got what he was saying.
"I wasn't going to kill her." Your alpha muttered.
“Aaaaah!” You heard screaming. People came running out to jump into the fountain and drink the water from the spout and/or dive in headfirst. Flames spewed from their mouths.
“How was it?! Delicious right?!” Panda shouted at them.
“Well…guess it could have been worse.”
“What a dinner.”
"Can we cook up the panda?"
"No Sukuna."
Looks like you were starting your vacation off strong.

Chef Note: We are finally getting into better times let’s enjoy this.
Gojo when Choso voted against us: https://tenor.com/view/get-a-load-of-this-guy-get-a-load-load-of-this-gif-21622074
I love the idea that reader is misunderstanding Choso’s good boy behavior. He is a good boy but he’s not going to blindly say yes to everything we want. He would have voted for Sukuna to kill someone for this mistake 😭. He’s like I’ll whimper for you but when it comes to your well-being, he will not back down. 😂
Give me a moment to reply to all your comments. Sorry I wasn't able to get to them before I finished cooking! <3

SILENT HILL 2 MOVIE RANT INCOMING BECAUSE IM ABOUT TO RIP MY PUBES OUT (ENDING GAME AND MOVIE SPOILERS AHEAD-ALL THE SPOILS)
Yesterday, I watched the new Resident Evil and I have to say it was better than expected. Like most game adaptation movies my bar is always low but I liked this one. So later my mom saw silent hill on prime and asked if it was a game as well- and i was like oh yeah i love that game we can watch it...
I was then shot 57 times.
I FORGOT why I didn’t watch it! So in the middle of it i paused the tv and had gone on a very severe, long rant to my poor, sweet mother, who had fallen asleep for the majority of the movie and had no idea what I was talking about XD.
I knew she woulnd't full understand, so I googled other people's reactions, and I found a video that I had liked when the movie first came out and had a flashback as to why I didn’t watch it 😭.
So I was sitting there pissed for a second time.
SPOILERS FOR SILENT HILL 2 the game and the movie- last chance!
Honestly- honestly honestly- What IN THE SEVEN HELLS POSSESSED THEM TO MERGE EVERY IMPORTANT CHARACTER INTO ONE? MIGHT AS WELL HAVE ADDED EDDIE IN THE NAME TOO. Funny enough, they didn't have the ballz to add MARIA the actual representation of mary on the tombstone!
Like what are we really doing here?
The movie went from this is ok… to this is bad to this is a disgrace real fast 😭. Silent Hill 2 is such a beautiful game, and the story is the MOST IMPORTANT PART. And they MASSACRED IT! Angela is one of my favorite characters, and her story/part always makes me cry; she's so beautifully written. The point of her pain is you CANNOT TAKE AWAY HER PAIN. I REPEAT YOU CANNOT TAKE IT AWAY FROM HER. She blames herself for killing her brother and father and she blames herself for them saing her- her own MOTHER BLAMES HER for the sa- so she is stuck in her own personal hell. Looking for her mama trying to apologize to her for something that wasn't her fault and she had every right to defend herself. My heart breaks for her every time, and sure i want a happy ending for her. but not only did they erase her individuality and merge it with Mary, but they minimized her trauma. ALL JAMES HAD TO SAY IS IM SORRY AND ALL IS WELL?!!!! And abstract daddy boss dies-Are we on crack right now?! I don't need to see a bunch of action scenes and James running around with a pipe and a shotgun but the way they did that scene felt empty.
If someone is going to make a movie adaptation, let it be someone who ACTUALLY LOVES THE FRANCHISE- because I don't think there is ONE SINGLE PERSON who loves the game that could have come up with the idea to merge every single character into one person and diminish their very importance as individuals! Oh and the damn kicker. The icing on the damn cake. They made it so MARY asked james to kill her- NO!!!!!!! THE WHOLE POINT WAS THAT JAMES WAS A GUY WHO WAS GOING THROUGH EMOTIONAL ISSUES AND HATED HIS SICK WIFE- James never hated his wife he loved her but her illness drove him to kill her and end her suffering along with his own. it was out of selfishness- or some twisted love, depending on how you look at it but mary did not explicitly ASK James to kill her. Some people will argue saying that she 'thanked' him for ending her suffering but I feel the idea of it is left to the viewer to decide if that is just james wanting to be forgiven for what he had done. In the first game you can even hear her screaming and struggling when he does it. She does not HELP him kill her like in the movie it was so weird to see and makes it so like 'aw poor guy his wife(girlfiend in the movie) asked him to do that' NO the most gut wrenching part of the whole game is that you find out he did it. You are left looking at your tv like 'damn im the real monster in silent hill' after the truth is revealed, the MONSTERS avoid you and back away. It is such an important part of the game. I feel like having mary 'ask' james to kill her ruins that ambiguity brought forth and that torn feeling of do you forgive james or not. I think it made it seem 'easy' like look guys she asssked him to kill her don't be mad a little old james :c. Like let me feel my mixed emotions don't try to lean me one way let me SIT ON MY DAMN FENCE!
...The moth scene was beautiuful sure sure- and the ending was fine sure sure mix two game endings im fine with it but why didn't they choose the dog ending dammit v=v. I just feel like some of the things that I really loved about this story was taken out.
I think why i liked resident evil so much more is because it was an original idea for a character that is in the game. I think it is very easy to make an original character/ idea for Silent Hill instead of taking the game and just trying to make it into something else. Like instead of trying to tell a story already told- make a new one.
Do you know how absolutely cool it would have been if they made this a whole new character who is a painter and his girlfriend was in the silent hill cult and when he had gone to silent hill every character was her in some way and expressed different issues they dealt with so it was like BOTH of their hell? Like both of them were suffering in silent hill together because she was tethered to this place by her awful cult family? And at the end you find the twist and go WOW those are all her and this is her broken parts of herself- and he finds out he accidentally killed her in a car accident or something and he felt like it was his fault she died, and he could never let go of that guilt because he was drinking and driving and they were arguing about her cult family and a classic cliche semi truck killed her just like how he almost hit a semi truck the day he met her and it came full circle- THAT- I would have applauded- that could have been beautiufl. It could have been a cool idea if they would have made it their own. Maybe that's just me being a hater, but i don't know.
I saw the first silent hill movie when I was young and I thought it was good even though they mixed up some characters(and added Pyramid Head to it lol). The names were different, but it felt true to the game, and different in its own aspect, it felt like it worked better. It didn't make me deranged. Although I kind of wish they made the husband Harry and maybe had a movie with him trying to find his family and separated the two, I think that would have been cool and added to his character.
I don't remember the other Silent Hill movies besides John Snow was in one of them...and uh...something tells me maybe that's for the best :)
Alright, rant over.
All side dishes aside, I believe more game/anime/ any movie adaption should not try to do a copy but make their own story. Like tell a story of a character that is in that world. Otherwise, it feels more like fanfiction, and there's nothing wrong with that obviously- but there's a reason fanfiction turns into its own original story- looking at you fifty shades of grey-.
What do you think? I know I can be passionate about things, so sometimes I can be blinded by how strongly I feel about something. Am I kneading dough here , or am I overbeating it lol?
