Throat?
Sore.
Back?
Broken.
Kitty Kat?
Decimated.
Legs?
Don’t work like they used to before.
You were damn near bedridden. Sukuna took all your cursed energy, and Toji put you in a mini coma!
You didn’t wake up till dinner time. You had eaten your food in your room because you could barely walk. Momo and Inumaki brought your meal and said they’d come back to get you ready for bed.
You learned that Gojo was upset you couldn’t train with him, and a mini fight broke out between him and Toji. A Choso doll was the only casualty. To your surprise, it was broken up by Sukuna, who claimed it was your fault for pushing Toji’s buttons.
First off fuck that asshole- you haven’t even seen him since your merge- and second off, this was so unfair!
If you had a secret that they didn’t know of, they’d lose their ever-loving shit! And they know it! All of them can kiss your ass- maybe not Gojo, because he would have told you already, but who knows! Point is, enough of them know, but none of them are telling you! They refuse to tell you. It was so unfair.
Those damn hypocrites!
You will show them!
If they wanted to behave like this- you can have secrets too!
You wobble your way to your bathroom with a sketchbook in hand. You had a lot of things to keep you from being bored, but right now you were a scheming woman.
You rip out a tiny piece of paper-
‘Meet me in the guest bathroom, first floor west side @ 00:00’
When Momo and Inumaki came to bathe you, you asked Momo to give Choso your note. Of course you had to make sure the snitch of the century was out of the bathroom before you slid it into her hand like a secret deal. You told a fib- saying it was for pack bonding purposes and your alphas could not know about it.
Forever the hopeless romantic Momo took that note to heart ready to deliver it with a beaming salute. She wanted Choso to succeed in your pack so you knew she wouldn’t tell on you.
Once you were dressed in your nightgown you walked around your room, trying to get the feeling back in your lower body. All of your potions were in the inventory worm and it seemed Toji wasn’t going to give you any so you could stay put. A way to distract you from his secrets!
You waited until it was close to your designated time, before limping your way to the kitchen for a ‘drink’.
It was late, the castle quiet except for a few late- night stragglers.
One of those being Mai. She was in the kitchen guzzling down water.
“Hey.” You greeted her and she squeaked almost dropping her cup.
“Uh-um-what are you doing here.” She questioned with a very deep blush.
“Getting something to drink what about you?” you said moving for the fridge as she quickly backed away from you. The scent of sweetness touched your nose and you noticed she was looking a little sweaty. “Late-night workout?”
“Ah-yes! Just ran a bit- um-I needed some water.” She stated swiftly. “Getting it yes same.” She coughed into her fist. “Have a good night!”
She was gone before you could access any more information.
She was so awkward. G.Ma really sent the worst spy.
A little after O dark o'clock you made your way to the guest bathroom. It was dark inside, you slipped inside and shut the door flicking the light on. Choso was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.
“Hey.” You whispered, feeling a bit jittery from this secret spy mission. You didn't like to hide things from your men.
“I got your note…is there something wrong?” He asked carefully.
“I want you to help me with something but you have to keep it between us ok?”
Choso’s brows furrowed, “What is it?”
You licked your lips moving away from the door. “Ok… so I know how to call Mahito back. I want to connect with him again but I wanted you to be here just in case I need you to force a disconnection.”
“You know how to call someone back without a touch?”
“Yeah, it's pretty easy i can show you, but not now. We don't have much time I have to check on Dove.”
Choso frowned, “I was made to believe that Mahito is dangerous, is he not?”
“I mean he is but, that's beside the point. I don't think he will hurt me.”
“So why am I here?”
“Well- just in case he tries.”
“Your alphas are fine with this?”
You snorted, “They don’t know about this. That’s why you can’t tell them. You know how they can get. Ready?”You set up.
He patted you gently, “You should… really talk to them before doing this. They’d want to know.”
“I don’t need to talk to them, they have their secrets I can have mine too.” You grimaced. You noticed the conflicting stare he was giving you. “Choso. Just help me with this. And don’t tell them please. I want to do this. So do it for me.”
“You are doing this…because you are upset…”
“Well- no - maybe-a little. Who cares? I want to check on Dove. I can do whatever I want. All I need you to do is just be here if I show signs of distress and break the connection. That's it.”
Choso nervously gulped, “No…I can’t… I can’t do this… I’m sorry Y/n.”
“What?” You glare at him, but he quickly turns his head, your eyes hurting him greatly.
“Don’t- I ask you to please- please don’t put me in such a difficult position. If I am to be accepted by your alphas I cannot betray their trust.”
“Oh- so you are siding with them!” You throw his hand away from you with an accusatory tone.
“I’m… I’m not siding with them…I want to be with you more than anything but… if they found out I helped you do something so dangerous and withheld such information I would lose my opportunity and ruin everything. No matter how much I want to help you, I can’t. I’m sorry.” He finished with an apologetic look.
“Save it.” You huffed, throwing the door open.
“Wait- please…” Choso followed after you.
Which wasn’t hard since you were limping.
“I said save it Choso.” You limped quickly trying to get away from him.
“Promise me you won’t do it on your own…” He tried to help you walk but you pushed him away.
“I’m not promising you shit.”
“Y/n.” Choso’s voice came out tense. “Don’t do this to me.”
Why do they always say stuff like that? Like you are doing something to them. Like you are always at fault for how they behave. Tengen they were so toxic.
You made it to your door Choso was still in tow trying to talk to you but you ignored him. When you get into your room you could physically shut him out.
You opened your door but Choso shut it with his body- “Raven wait-”
“Ugh do you know what my alphas think of you?” you snapped. You hated how he could look so hurt.
You hated how easy it was to hurt them.
His gaze avoided yours, “…I know… I know they don’t like me- but there's a huge difference. This will make them despise me. I don’t want to choose a side…”
“You already did. You know I thought you wanted to be my good boy.” You were toying with his lust for you- dangling it in front of his face as you leaned up into him. “Was I wrong?” you breathed on his throat, making him shiver.
He slid against your door dropping to his knees, he then looked up at you with such an intense expression. “No…no you aren’t wrong…I'll take you far away from here, far away from everyone, and make you all mine. I won't have to care about what those alphas think. So tell me that's what you want right now, and I'll do anything you ask. Keep any secret and kill anyone who tries to get in our way. I can make this plan come true and sneak us out of here. Is that what you want? Because that's the only way I will do this.”
“…” You were left speechless.
“But you would never want that.” Choso continued to read you like an open book. “You love them, they are a part of your world. A world I wish to be a part of. However long it takes for me to get there. You said you'd support me-this is not going to help me.”
You felt your fight diminish very quickly and dissolve into embarrassment and a hint of shame. You understood what he meant. You had placed him in an uncomfortable situation. You don't understand how he could love you so much that he'd deny you something just to get your alphas’ approval. Upsetting you was one thing but upsetting your men? That was another ballgame.
The idea of it all kind of pissed you off.
“Whatever.” You muttered.
“…You have to tell them what you told me.” He whispered. “…I don’t want to do it.”
He's an even bigger snitch than Inumaki!
“Tell them. I don't care.” You misted through your door. Leaving Choso by himself.
You were very frustrated.
~
Day fucking two.
You had stayed in your room.
On strike.
You felt like you had no one on your side. No one who understood what you were going through. It always felt like it was one to five- and now with Choso choosing your alphas’ side it was six to one.
You loved being the center of attention, and maybe you were complaining about your lobster being too buttery and your steak too juicy, but sometimes it was draining to be the odd one out.
In this moment, you missed Tigress. She understood your situation better than anyone. You decided to send her a new message filled with your frustration with your alphas.
You gripped your pen huffing like you were writing in the burn book,
These alphas are the most frustrating, hypocritical alphas I have ever met.
And right before you could continue, you breathed in the scent of cinnamon apples.
Sukuna was at your door. You felt an eerie crawl up your back, remembering how he had pulled you into himself like a horror film.
You froze for a moment, awaiting a knock...but it never came.
What was he doing?
You tickled your chin with your feather pen.
After a minute or two, you just shook your head and continued your message.
Then his scent became overpowering, like he was trying to break his way into your room with just his smell alone. It was entirely rude of him to do so and disrespectful. You didn't know this, but your body told you it was.
You pushed yourself harshly away from your desk and stood coming toward the door, "What do you want?" You shouted with your arms crossed. He wasn't going to force you to open this door. What kind of omega did he take you for?
"Open your door and greet your alpha properly."
"No. I'm busy." You state, gnawing the inside of your cheek. Waiting for him to retort. Ready to shoot back at him. Ready for mental war! But it was silent for entirely too long. If it weren't for his smell, you would have assumed he left. "What do you want, Sukuna? You are disturbing my space." You could feel the way his scent prickled on your skin.
"Open this fucking door." he jiggled the handle roughly, making you jump.
Now he was pissing you off, "This is my room, Sukuna. My safe space. You can't threaten your way into my nest! GO AWAY!"
After your shout, the jiggling stopped...
BAM! -he hit your door with a growl, and then stalked away.
What the hell was his problem!? Maybe he could have started with a sorry for stealing your body and curse energy!
You growl in anger, today was just pissing you off!
But what made it worse was... You didn't want to feel like this. You didn't want this day to go like this. This was supposed to be the happy-go-lucky part of your story. The nice and relaxing part. You wanted to be happy; you wanted to enjoy this time with your alphas and friends. Because you didn't know how long this moment would last.
You didn't want to waste this time...
You felt sorrow dampen your heart.
Feeling icky, you took a bath, trying to decide what you wanted to do.
Maybe you should just talk to them, get this all off your chest, and say how you felt. The problem was, you don't think it would change anything. Maybe you could find a compromise.
A few seconds after you left the bathroom, you heard a knock on your door. Your hair was still very much damp. It was like the person was waiting for you. You opened your door just a crack, seeing Gojo standing before you.
He looked shocked for a moment "Yes- I knew I was your favorite."
You snorted at his statement. "I'm assuming Sukuna told you I didn't open the door for him?"
"Yeah, he said you were being a brat."
You rolled your eyes, "He didn't even knock! Thank you~ Gojo for knocking!" You said very loudly in case asskuna was watching. Then you set your gaze on your alpha, "How can I help you alpha?"
"Why are you staying in your room? We don't have to bond if you don't want to..."
"That's not why I'm staying in my room, I was just annoyed."
"About Sukuna? Want me to beat him up?"
"No, not Sukuna...I'm just..." Actually saying it out loud made you feel almost pupish. "...I don't like when you guys hide stuff from me."
"It's not my choice, that's Toji. And you told me not to tell you about my surprise remember? Do you want to know? I'll tell you-it's a-."
"No! No- I- wait you know what Toji is hiding from me?"
Gojo gulped, "I mean I got a good idea...but that's his thing. Why do you have to punish the rest of us baby?"
You scoffed, so Gojo knew too! You thought for sure he would have told you. "I-Because you ALL know! Everyone but me!"
"...That's not my choice. It's Toji's. If it were my situation, you'd know. Ask him."
"I did! And he punished me for it!"
Gojo shrugged, as if it were normal. "Again, that's Toji- what does that have to do with Gojo Satoru?"
You huffed in irritation, hand tense on the doorknob. "Whatever...are we done here? I want to finish my letter to Tigress."
Gojo smiled lightly, then rubbed his head awkwardly. "Soooo~ you know how you are mad at Toji? Like that's between you guys right?"
"I suppose." You said in annoyance.
"So...Choso had said something that had us a little - teensy bit- worried..."
Your gaze narrowed. "What did he say?"
"He said you are hiding something from us but he wouldn't say because the bastard was crying too much saying you were gonna hate him if he said it."
"Oh! So now you want to know MY secret huh?!"
"I wouldn't hide anything from you though!"
"Hahaha! How ironic isn't it!"
Gojo frowned, "Come on, sweetness, don't play tic for tac with all of us that's not fair."
"OOOh We want to talk about faaaair now?" You could not believe the double standards in this pack! "You are right- I should be fair to all of you. I didn't open the door for Sukuna so bye!" You slammed the door closed.
"Babbbyy!" Gojo whined, "Come oooon"
Incredible.
Absolutely incredible.
Your pack was something else.
You will need to add this to your letter!
Talking be damned!
Be the bigger person?
Yeah right!
Your anger was rekindled!
You rang your bell for something to eat, being angry made you hungry. Momo came to your room- but with no hope of food. She said your alphas want you to come get it.
Which you were not going to do!
So NOW you were on a hunger strike!
All of this you wrote in your very long two-page essay.
You finished your letter, releasing a sigh, feeling that uncomfortable sadness touch your core again. It was back and forth. Fighting with your stubbornness or fighting with your alphas' stubbornness. You wanted to just give in, you really do. Giving in means accepting them for who they are. No matter how ridiculous it was to you. Was this something you could deal with? Something you could turn a blind eye to and just accept for the sake of peace? Was this something worth fighting over?
Or should you keep it up, pushing for justice?
You insert your letter in a fancy envelope, opening your balcony so you can step outside. Using your bird call spell, a messenger bird had tweeted in response, coming over to you.
"Get this to my girl safely please." You whisper sending it off.
You watched it flap away, wondering if anyone would snatch it out of the sky.
Suddenly the hairs on the back of your neck stood up- before you could even react you felt something wrap around your arms.
"Ah!" You looked down to see rope- "EEK!" And then you were yanked into the air. "Help me!" You cried trying to phase through the binds, but it glowed in response.
"Gotcha." Sukuna grinned as he threw you on the ground and quickly tied you up like you were prey. He was looking way too smug with himself! Then he tossed you over his shoulder.
"S-sukuna?! What the hell!" You shrieked, kicking your feet as he jumped and slid off the roof.
WHY WAS HE ON THE ROOF?! TO CATCH YOU?! HOW LONG HAD HE BEEN THERE WAITING FOR YOU TO STEP OUT?! CRAZY BASTARD!
"Hi, Raven." Inumaki waved at you, "It's nice that you came out of your nest."
'"I didn't! I was captured!"
"Oh, well, it's nice that Sukuna saved you before your kidnappers got far."
WHAT- THIS DIMWIT.
"SUKUNA IS MY KIDNAPPER!" you shouted down the hall, your alpha taking you further away. "HELP ME!"
Sukuna pinched the fat of your thigh, "Stop disturbing the castle"
"Ai-You are one to talk." You huffed. "You attacked everyone!”
"We attacked everyone."
"Weeee didn't do shit. You took all my energy and forced me to merge with you. I was just your cursed energy packet for you to drain..."
He didn't say anything as he brought you into the parlor.
It was only the two of you.
He dropped you on the couch, and then sat beside you with a glare. "You didn't like it?"
"Like what?" You echoed, trying to get comfortable in your position, the ropes were burning your skin. It was super tight.
"What we did, how we became one."
There was something funny in the way his tone hitched. You didn't know what it was.
"We didn't really-" You sighed, searching for the right words, "-I wasn't ready for it. It surprised me, and you didn't let me take my time. You just took everything...”
His hand slid over your arm, creating goosebumps in its path. His head leaned to the side as his eyes crawled over you. "...But you liked it...afterward..." His body pressed over you, his face inches from your own. "You gave yourself to me. Body and soul."
You frowned, realizing Sukuna didn't think he took you. He thought you had merged with him willingly.
"No...If that were true, I think I would have been up instead of asleep. And perhaps our form wouldn't have had dead arms and closed eyes..."
Sukuna narrowed his gaze, "Then we try again…until you aren't scared."
"I don't think the castle will appreciate that."
"I don't care."
"I don't think I- am ready to try that again."
Sukuna frowned at your words, he was about to say something else but the door opened. Your other alphas came into the room.
"Why is she mad at us?” Gojo grumbled in irritation. “I didn’t even do anything.”
"Hush, Gojo. Daaarling~" Getou cooed at you playfully, "Why have you been so grumpy?"
Your eyes met Toji's, and you quickly turned your head.
"I want to go back to my room."
Sukuna sat up as Nanami came over. He looked disappointed, "You were putting yourself in danger, sweetheart."
"Be mad at me all you want, but don't hurt yourself." Toji stated.
"I wasn't hurting myself."
"You weren't eating." Nanami countered.
"You wouldn't let anyone bring me food." You shot back just as fast.
Nanami adjusted his glasses. "Hiding within your nest is dangerous. But not just that, I believe you have something to tell us."
You could smell Toji and Nanami's displeased odor. It was suffocating. Not even Sukuna was this mad. But he was grinning about it, more than amused with the situation.
"If you already know, why do I need to say it?"
"Choso didn't tell us." Gojo repeated what he had said earlier, "He didn't want you to be mad at him."
"Yes, the poor beta was really broken up. You should have seen how pitiful he looked."
“Good. You guys are hypocrites.”
"We are," Nanami confirmed without shame. "When it comes to you, we will always put your safety above our own. As alphas, it is our duty to protect you. When you put yourself in danger, you are threatening our omega. That is something we cannot accept and will not negotiate with. You should know this."
You know.
That's why you couldn't trust them. You thought you could trust Choso but he proved to share their sentiment, he was right at home.
You heard Nanami take a deep breath, he grabbed your chin facing you toward him as he leaned over to speak more softly, “Are you going to tell us what it is you are hiding?”
You mocked Toji’s words-, “No. I don’t want to tell you. It’s for your safety. Stop asking.” You were feeling real bratty today.
You could see Toji lick his teeth, his alpha wanting to bite you into submission.
“I see…” Nanami spoke in a disapproving tone. He grabbed your shoulder turning you over. “Sukuna, did you tie this?” He questioned redoing your binds. “It’s awful.”
“I didn't know I was supposed to wrap her like a damn present.”
Getou shook his head, “It’s too tight, you could cut off circulation.”
“He has no class.” Gojo added.
“Next time you guys wait up on that roof and do it.”
You lay there while Nanami tied you up with your arms behind your back. You had to admit it felt much better now that he made sure the rope wasn't cutting deeply into your bones. It was perfectly snug feeling much like how he wrapped you up before. You were picked up by your arms, and then spun around to face your alpha.
His hands squeezed you gently, “You want to go back to your room?”
“Before, I was rudely snatched out of it yes.”
“We wouldn't have had to if you-.” Toji began but Nanami silenced him with one glance.
“Then you will eat first…” he began, “…you will get your nourishment from your alphas.”
“Great.”
“If you want to be released, the choice is yours. All you have to do is tell us the truth.“
As if.
You can sit here and get fed. How hard can that be? You were hungry anyway. You didn’t eat anything all day and it was damn near dinner time.
However when you saw the twinkle of mirth in Getou’s eyes and the dirty grin permanently on Sukuna’s face- you realized something.
Where was the food?”
