House of Alpha Chapter 14: Jealousy Jealousy (Patreon)

There was a slight discomfort that roused you from sleep. You mewled softly rolling on your stomach to ease the feeling, the skin upon your ass slightly irritated from the fabric rubbing on it. You let out a long sigh. A replay of why your cheeks were tender flooded your mind. That was supposed to be your punishment? Why was a punishment so enticing? Toji knuckle deep inside you while Nanami spanked you- “Nh-!” You hid your face in embarrassment, just the thought had you warming up again. Once your mind took a trip down lewd lane, you were revisited with your time with Sukuna- and when they all touched you- and the damn bathhouse! You were getting hot and bothered within seconds, your lady parts tingled in the delightful reminiscent. Gripping your pillow you released a scream. Why did they have to be so- enticing?

You rip yourself up, punching your pillow like it had wronged you. It was time to get back to business! You needed to figure out what was going on with your cursed energy. This was important for your survival and the alphas.

You stood in the middle of your room, giving yourself a stern nod. Closing the mental door on your horny thoughts.

‘Focus’.

You searched for your curse energy much like you had done before. Breathing in… and then out… through your nose… out your mouth. Expanding your chest and stomach with each breath. Grab hold… you felt that fuzzy wavelength once again, a slight smile tugging on your lips as it slipped through your hands fluidly. It was constantly moving and pulsing, almost like it was alive. You hummed at the feel. Warm in both of your hands. That was weird, last time you felt cold and warm. You felt a chilly tickle upon your back, and a brief touch of it upon your legs. The energy was all around you. Circling you like coiling snakes. Releasing one strand you grabbed for the other. “Aha!” You spoke in excitement. This one felt cold. Your curse energy was a mixture! How peculiar! You couldn't help but laugh at your revelation. You weren’t imagining things. Could you perhaps have dark energy and light?

Fuck that was cool.

“Ha.” You release your concentration with a big heave of air.

You wanted to practice this magic, right away. You will need to speak to one of your alphas about testing your theory and retrieving that holy book. You clapped your hands together, perfect, you now had something strong to use against the cursed spirits. Thank Tengen you weren’t a basic NPC. You had power, real power. That you must harness. There wasn’t a second to lose. Running to the rope you were about to sound your bell, one hand wrapped around it-

*BOOM!*

You jolted at the explosion. What the hell was that? Running to your balcony you pushed the glass doors open as you tumbled to the railing, searching for what made such a loud noise. Your brows furrowed, finding a dark cloud twirling into the sky. It was coming from the other side of the castle. Were the villains attacking?! But they shouldn’t be making a move until a month from now!

*KABOOOM!*

“Ah!” Another explosion went off making you sway back and forth almost losing your balance. Fear turned your blood cold as you rushed back inside. ‘No!’ This could not be happening! They weren’t supposed to attack right now! You weren’t ready, they weren’t ready! The mere thought of any of them getting hurt had your adrenaline spike to a new level. You were sprinting down the hall and sliding around corners until you were flying up the steps two at a time. Once you reached the upper landing you looked toward the alpha wing where dark smoke bellowed out, your beta retrainers standing before it with defensive stances.

“What’s going on?!” You shouted at them preparing for battle.

Hearing your voice they looked toward you with surprised gasps. “Raven! You should not be here-“ Momo could barely finish her sentence before a dark figure came hurling toward you. It knocked both of them to the floor.

“Ai!” You let out a cry barely dodging the body that soared passed you. Pressing your back against the wall you whipped your head toward the tumbling human. You quickly realized it was Nanami.

He slid to a stop, trying to sit up. Once your eyes made contact you both shouted each other’s names in equal shock.

“Nanami!”

“Raven!”

He groaned in pain after sprouting that singular word, falling over from using his energy to speak. Blood streaked from his lips and that’s all you needed to move yourself before him with a tight grit of your teeth. Placing yourself in front of the danger. This was different than fighting monsters in the woods. These will be much tougher! You trained enough, you should be able to handle these curses- they couldn’t be high-level, right?

“Get her out of here!” Nanami ordered the betas.

“Raven it’s not safe!” Momo and Inumaki tried to grab your arms, and a part of you wanted to allow them to take you. Wanted to curl up and hide while you hope your alphas can handle the danger and protect you. But you pushed them back along with that gripping dread.

“No, get him to safety!” You could hear how much Nanami was struggling to get up. You couldn’t possibly leave him to fight on his own. Where were your other alphas? You couldn’t smell a thing through this smoke and blood.

“Raven you don’t understand! You could get hurt!”

“I know that!” You closed your eyes for a brief second grabbing hold of your cursed energy, clutching the warm strand. You yanked it to you with a tight grip snapping your eyes open- it’s just like a fireball- just like dark shadow- it was all the same- You pulled the energy back, planting your feet wide, rearing your hand, you could feel it coursing through your body. You were ready for the monster! The spell ‘smite’ was right upon your tongue. “I will not cower from the enemy!” The smoke dispersed as the creature came forward.

However, the shadow that came through was none other than-

“G-Gojo!” Your eyes widen in surprise. Your curse energy slipped from your fingers.

“Omega~.” Gojo smiled sweetly. Canines glistened, the white of his eyes dark, and his hair spiked at the tips. Clear evidence of his alpha taking over. He looked much better than Nanami. There wasn’t a spec on him. You were left in astonishment, watching his infinity barrier pulse vibrantly around him. Maybe he was strong enough to fight the enemy. “We were just talking about you baby bird, weren’t we Nanami?”

What? Did he do this?

“Gojo you can hurt her!”

“I won’t!”

You felt Inumaki grip your arm, your gaze moving to him as he got back into his earlier defense.

“Sir, please stand back!” Momo’s hand flew pass you and a purple star with a circle around it formed between you and Gojo. “Take her back to her room Inumaki, his alpha won’t enter there!”

“Guys~.” Gojo poked his bottom lip out in a pout.

What the fuck was happening? Everything was moving too quickly and you didn’t have time to fully comprehend the situation. Your mind went through whiplash as it went from fear of villains to seeing Nanami hurt to find out it was Gojo’s fault- to find out it may have something to do with you!

What the fuck did you do?

“I won’t hurt you, Raven, I swear~.” Gojo took a step forward.

“What? What are you talking about?” You questioned, confused by how you are the main component of this whole fight.

“Raven you have to run!” Nanami’s voice sounded desperate, and as Inumaki pulled on you the little inch you stepped away had Gojo’s eyes widen almost in fear.

“Don’t!” He charged forward within a blink of an eye, slamming both of his hands against the barrier as it sizzled and zapped loudly

“Gojo stop!” Momo screamed as she flinched back from the initial impact but pushed forward and flexed her fingers making the barrier bigger.

“I can control myself! I can!” Gojo laughed maniacally as he pressed harder making the barrier crack in different places.

You don’t know what the fuck had you frozen with wide eyes. Fear? Stupidity? Morbid fascination? All of the fucking above?

“I’ll drink the goddamn poison! Please!”

Or maybe it was how absolutely desperate and unhinged the alpha was for you.

“Gojo-”

“Let’s go!” Inumaki pulled you much more urgently this time. The sudden motion snapped you out of your stare-off with Gojo. That caused him to really panic.

“IT’S NOT FUCKING FAIR NANAMI!”

“Okay! Stop!” You pulled your arm from Inumaki and shook your head looking toward Gojo as you pointed at him. With a stern voice, you say, “Stop. It.”

Gojo slowly stopped pressing against the barrier, as he leaned forward to rest his forehead against it, looking like an abused pup. For crying out loud. Was this a fucking temper tantrum, all because he couldn’t be with you? He’s joking, right?

Everything was now quiet. Yet Momo still kept the barrier up for safe measures.

“I have this new spell I want to practice, would you like to help me?”

Gojo grinned, “Yeah.”

“Raven, that would not be wise.”

“Fuck you Nanami,” Gojo growled while flicking the blonde off.

“Gojo.”

“Sorry, Nanami I meant to say I love you. It was a slip-up.”

“An honest mistake.”

“Thank you Inumaki.”

“He flipped me off!”

“I meant to give you the peace sign.”

You snorted while rubbing at your eye, this whole event has been emotionally draining. Yet somehow you found it almost comical. Gojo seemed to actually be able to control himself as he said. If he truly wanted to, he could have broken Momo’s barrier. He didn’t punch it nor blast it to smithereens. Yet. You weren’t sure how long his control could last.

“Drink the Nekiya.”

“That’s what I’ve been trying to do!”

You looked at him confused, “Why can’t you?”

Gojo pointed behind you and you looked to see Nanami who was being helped up by Inumaki. “He needs to wait two more days.”

“Why? You drank it two days in a row.”

“SEE?! SUCH A DAMN TYRANT!”

“Yes…” Nanami coughed into his hand, the sound causing everyone to grimace with concern. After his coughing fit he took a shaky breath, “And now… I am suffering from such foolish actions…as you can see.”

You let out a cry when Nanami opened his hand to show you the bits of blood on it. “OH MY- NANAMI WHAT THE FUCK, I THOUGHT GOJO DID THAT!”

“WHAT?! You thought I did that to him!?”

You looked at Gojo with a sputter, “WELL- yeah!”

“I just tossed him down the hall!”

“What about the explosions!?”

“Warning shots!”

“Oh my- you two- I…” you rubbed at your temple, puffing out your cheeks, ready to scream. Unbelievable. This is unbelievable!

Gojo tapped on the barrier with a sharp nail, “Hey Momo can you like… put the barrier down now?”

“M-m.”

“Wh-what! I am your alpha!”

Momo and Gojo began to have a little fuss as you tried to understand how the hell you got so involved with such crazed alphas. Stupid silly alphas that would poison themselves just to be with you. Obsessed idiots that throw fits of rage due to jealousy. You certainly had your work cut out for you.

Your expression did not go unnoticed by Nanami, “I’m sorry to have… caused you distress Raven.” he sighed dejectedly.

“It’s… fine. Just no more. No more Nekiya…”

You didn’t think the blonde's face could get any sadder, but it did and it hurt to see. “How will we be able to be with you?”

“Nanami look at yourself! You two would seriously rather keep drinking poison-“

“Yes.”

“Yes.”

You popped your lips. Yup. Stupid fucking alphas.

“Okay, new plan.”

You sat in the library on the couch with Gojo, and Kusakabe right across from you. The poor beta came running into the house in fear much like you had. He had abandoned all the groceries he had within the street when he had noticed the smoke. Yet he was more afraid for you, not the alphas. The guards weren’t even the slightest bit fazed. It seemed this isn’t very new for the alpha’s to throw tantrums. Once you told Kusakabe about the situation he was now concerned for Nanami’s health and your well-being with Gojo.(Of course Gojo claimed he didn’t need a babysitter but, alas).

“Aaah~.” The white-haired male yawned while flipping through the book of illnesses, by Shoko. His eyes blinked sleepily.

You were busy reading Tengen’s book of holy spells that Gojo had retrieved for you from the armory. It was just as interesting as its counterpart, but you couldn’t indulge in it too much. You scan briefly, searching for some sort of spell you could use to heal Nanami. One thing about Tengen was the man did not know what the hell table of contents was. You flipped through page after page, trying to find something along the lines of cure or cleanse. You sip your tea rather quickly without breaking your eyes from the words.

You weren’t sure if it was a bad or good thing your other alphas were busy today. Sukuna and Toji were out hunting monsters and people in the area that were causing issues while Getou worked the underground world. He typically got the best intel. When you played the game he’d pop up randomly with a blue or purple exclamation mark- ‘There’s a bandit camp in this area- don’t ask me how I know darling.’  They were optional quests of course with good loot. Then there were side quests. Of course, you did all of them. But what would happen if you didn’t do them…oh… you didn’t want to think about the outcome. You will definitely do them all.

“Did you find anything?” You questioned the others. Looking over to Gojo you scoffed finding him sleeping, head leaning into his hand with the book open. He was such a child, throwing a hissy fit and then going to sleep.

“I may have found something, we could try.”

Looking toward Kusakabe you leaned over the table to grab his brown leather book and brought it close to read. You zip through the words, your eyes jumping left to right. The entry described a very minor case. The usual, it’ll take a few minutes for the effects to wear off. However, that’s when someone inhales it. Nanami’s case is much more severe. He’s drinking it and a lot of it. There were some mentions of using a pureberry to help ease the symptoms and quicken the process of recovery but it seemed like time was the best component. You use pureberries to make a few potions in the game, so that certainly narrows it down. “We can make potions that use the berries as ingredients, he can drink one at a time so we can find which one can help. How quickly do you think we can get them?”

Kusakabe took the book back as he slid a bookmark in place, shutting it with a slight clap, “They don’t grow in abundance here in the desert but I’m sure I can find someone who is selling them. I’ll look when the other alphas return.”

You furrow your brows, “No no, we need them soon Kusakabe, I know Nanami acts tough but he clearly isn’t doing well.” You noticed his eyes moved to Gojo, then you. He was afraid to leave the two of you alone. “I’m fine Kasukabe.”

“Prime omega, I understand your concern but you shouldn’t be left here with him, at least return to your room.”

“For him to throw another fit and try to poison himself again?” You shook your head, “It’s fine, besides he’s asleep. The quicker you go the quicker you can get back before he wakes.” You gave him a pointed look that had him nod his head in defeat.

“…Alright… understood.” He stood and then took a bow, “I’ll be back before you know it.”

“Kay.” You nodded watching him go. Once he left, you looked toward Gojo who was sleeping peacefully. Returning your attention to your book you continued your mission. Despite whether the potion would work or not you wanted to teach yourself how to heal and cure curses and poisons. Nanami may be poisoned but you could still try to heal him and ease his pain. Maybe you should focus on your holy spells first vs shadow, one was more offensive while the other was supportive. Ugh, dealing with these idiots you knew you should learn how to protect them first. When Sukuna goes into his true form you can’t even control him in the game, he just attacks the first thing he sees.

Fuuuck!

You flip through the book quickly, going to the heal spell. One of the first pages. You had been making your own little table of contents, writing down what spells were where. Okay, how to heal… you hum softly to yourself as you read, getting a good idea of what to do. Grab your blessed energy with a gentle hand and lay it upon the target…well that wasn’t dangerous, you could do that without help for sure. How could you fuck up a healing so bad you hurt yourself, it was never heard of! You just needed something to heal. A minor cut or… your damn ass… it didn’t hurt but it did feel a bit uncomfortable to put all your weight upon it. You were sitting on the couch, leaning most of your weight on the arm of it. Yeah, that could be a good test…you slowly looked toward Gojo, glaring at him, searching for any sudden movement. Making sure he was sleeping.

How damn embarrassing would it be for you to be caught with your hand on your tush? You could do it while he’s sleeping… but what if he wakes up at the right stupid moment? You could already hear the teasing words and see the stupid grin he’d have.

Yeah, you weren’t about to chance that. You get up but once you stood Gojo whined softly.

“Where ya goin?” He asks sleepily, his blue eyes barely peaking from underneath white lashes.

Dammit- “Uh… I just… was getting another book.” You lie with a slight smile.

“Ohkaaay~”

You moved toward the shelves now having to go through with this tale. You were internally cursing yourself for lying so much. You truly didn’t do it on purpose, it was almost like it was becoming a bad fucking habit. You run your fingers on a few of the books, looking for something that would make sense for you to grab. Once you found a book you pulled it off the shelf and walked toward the couch. Just as you walked behind it you peeked over to see the alpha gone back to sleep. You stopped moving, backpedaling very slowly. You tracked all the way to the desk, where you set the book down. Closing your eyes you quickly find your warm energy, holding it with a feather-light touch. Once you had it, you moved it to the back of your dress, with a quiet whisper, “Heal…” you let the curse energy flow from your palm, it tingles as it smoothed over your behind. You widen your eyes once you feel the skin return to normal. Woah! You pat your bum a bit to make sure you have healed yourself. You smiled softly at your job well done. Oh yeah, you got this. Picking up your book you returned to the couch with a bit more of a bounce. As soon as you went to sit down you were swung around and slammed upon the couch.

“Ah!” You gasp at the sudden tornado of motion. You were now lying on your back with Gojo on top of you. “Gojo- what the hell?”

Gojo looked down at you with a lowered gaze. “Hey Raven…”

His voice sounded almost emotionless, it was so uncharacteristic you wondered if the words even came out of his mouth.

“Wh-what?” For some reason, you whispered the words. Uncertainty running its course.

“Do you hate me?”

“Gojo?” You scoff as if you couldn’t believe he would say such words. “What are you talking about I don’t hate you?” Where did he conjure up this idea?

His gaze was hardened, it almost felt cold to be in its view. “Then why do you lie to me?”

Oh no not again. How the hell did he know you lied this time!? You only walked to the shelf and back! He was sitting here with his eyes closed the entire time! When did he watch the… wait…“Can you… see the ball through your eyes…”

“…” he said nothing, and that’s all you needed to know that he was watching you with his eyes closed. Can they all do that? They can just close their eyes and see you?!

“Answer the question…tell me you hate me omega.”

Insecure bastards. It was like you were talking to Getou all over again. “Gojo- I don’t hate you! I don’t hate any of you!”

“…Then…you find me unattractive!?” Gojo looked like he had seen a ghost.

“GOJO! Do you not remember what you did to me at the omega house?!”

“Yeah, but… you play with everyone else but me…”

He has to be joking! “Are you serious? I- i told you I’m a bit… shy with these things!”

He ran his finger upon your arms, barely touching you, but your body still began to heat up. “Don’t say that you don’t… I’ve watched… you're always playing with them… you didn’t let me touch you but you ran off with Sukuna and let him…just tell me you hate me.” He didn’t touch you any more than your arm, like he was truly afraid you hated him and his advances.

“Gojo I don’t hate you…I promise.” You truly tried to sound sincere but you doubt he trusted you, especially since you’ve been busy sprouting out lies like it was candy.

“We were supposed to have time together… I was supposed to help you learn your magic…but instead you are so worried about Nanami you barely talked to me until now… if I drink the poison would you be worried about me like that too? Would you think of me more?”

What in the yandere hell is this?

You had met jealous Gojo in the game, but it’s not like… this. Of course, you feed his ego in the game and let him do as he please so there was no question of you liking him. You noticed that they have developed a sense of insecurity with you. They were all fighting for you to love them. How the tables have turned. The funny thing is you do love them. Loved them so much that you had played the game up, down, left, right, and around and around. As psycho as they were, you truly did like every one of them for different things. No alpha was higher within your heart, you cared about them equally.

“I’ll leave if you want me to…” Gojo pulled his hand from you, your body left feeling cold. Abandon from his touch.

Somewhere in life, you heard the term action speaks louder than words. You don’t know if it was something founded out on a popsicle stick or some inspirational post online. Words could probably not get you out of this one, so you reached up for Gojo’s face and pulled him to you so you could kiss him.
