"Yinz" is not Philly. "Yinz" is Pittsburgh. Close enough. I'll accept it.

It is nice to see Nora Barrows-Friedman laugh. I will send her money next.

נוֹרא "nora" (root י-ר-א) in Hebrew does mean "terrible". נוּרא "nura" (root נ-ו-ר) means fire or light in Aramaic (tho some might pronounce it Nora too, idk for sure)

Hey Daniel, just wanted you to know how much I appreciate what you said on the last Hasbara episode regarding our torn feelings regarding Israelis, and how kicking and screaming they may go into a better world that no longer accepts their country. When you said “wishing for the best” from them, I think that encapsulates how so many of us Liberal Zionists were raised, not to support Israel’s actions but to still accept the state as the best hope for Judaism, and to just hold out that they will stop these atrocious actions which define them. Were the Anti-Zionist movement to gain real political momentum in the west, we will start to see the fault lines between different groups on how to treat Israelis. It is hard for us to simply write them off, as some others might, because we will always humanize the Jews there more than anyone else. It will be difficult to lose the unity we have now, but it will also reflect progress. Take care.

I would love to know if you guys have any listeners in Israel. Or if this Pod can even be accessed there.

Love that Nora had a crush on MCA, me too! So nice to see her have fun on your show, admire and respect what all the brave journalists at Electric Intifada are doing. You guys are the best, this show is my community since in real life my friends are indifferent to genocide. Thank you
