Matt and Daniel are joined by Felix Biederman of Chapo Trap House to survey the grooming proclivities of Israel’s freelance hacks, the problem with the Dutch, and the suburban Chicago dad’s threshold for declaring something “Our 9/11.”

A South African Hasbarist!! I'd love to hear a white South African publicly say "apartheid is good"

I think we are realizing how UNPREPARED for a genocide we were. Namely, that your government would deny it is happening while it is happening.

There is something therapeutic about this podcast - just in general. 🤷🏽‍♀️

1. Bring Nimesh Patel on and see where you go! 2. Is it just me or... did Felix's voice come down half an octave at the 70th minute?

Agreed- I want to live in a world where humans can be redeemed, but “reforming” Zionism? TBH it reminds me so much of the absolutely bullshit idea that US police can be “reformed.” To what?! American policing was born out of racism and horrific classism- literally the early policing was “slave patrols,” and protecting the aristocrats from “the dangerous classes.” It is SO cringe because lately the URJ is trying to market discussions on “The Z-Word,” one of which is “To be a Zionist in today’s world: passion, complexity, and misunderstanding.” I wonder if the “misunderstanding” is being honest about the reality of Zionism, or just more BS waffling: “it doesn’t SAY ‘Zionism’ but this is proof of ancient Zionism!”- paraphrase of something a person in my temple’s Torah study said.

A couple of episodes ago Daniel recommended the Donahue episode with Louis Farrakhan, don’t sleep on that. It is incredible that is what TV discourse looked like. If you have seldom heard Farrakhan speak you will be surprised how much you agree with, and you get to see great 90s outfits, and hear a white woman say with no self awareness, “some of my best friends are black”

Louis

Fantastic episode.
