Thank you so much for addressing the POW issue. I got angry and commented on a podcast about their description of "hostages" as they were all serving IOF, and part of me felt crazy for saying they were POW's. The way they talked about them was insane, like they were innocent baby lamps or something. Like no, they are in the army ffs.

Commenting again - sorry. But Greg missed out a bit about the Sikh minority in Punjab which is in North West India, where the lines were drawn. If anyone's interested in the partition let me know and I can send you some good books etc. Modhi has been targeting Muslims and minorities in India including Sikhs, and as a Punjabi Sikh person in the UK let me say my entire family thought that the attack was a false flag as he needed votes for his party in a local election. Random story years ago I was dating an Indian guy and one night we were at my place. We had a nice snacky dinner with a really good mango ginger stilton and geing nice i gave him the last piece. Our conversation shifted to political stuff and Isreali occupation of Palestine and he said that he wanted to join the IDF. Thank you. I was going to say something. There is a great book by Guneeta Singh Bhalla, The 1947 Partition Archive. Also Greg talked about people getting disappeared. Look up Jasqant Singh Khalra who was documenting the massacre of Sikhs in 1984. Greg is right on so much of this and grateful for bringing it up.
