There are not many degrees between Lindsey Graham and that crazy guy who talks about being a power-gay in bombshelters with IDF soldiers or whatever. I feel like those two should link up. It's rare to find another guy who matches your same blood-thirst. THE AMOUNT of times these two must have been rejected/dissapointed by skinnhead Nazi-play BDSM guys going "... Yeah... I love you guys but I’m gonna push back in a major way on the bit about US not having their own reasons for this war. I follow a lot of geopolitical analysts and while Israel was absolutely pushing the US for war on Iran and while the Christian Zionists with their apocalypse kink were pushing for it too, however weakening China is literally written in US national security strategy laid out by this administration. https://www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2025-National-Security-Strategy.pdf Plus you can go read US foreign policy on the “Middle East” aka West Asia called , Which Path to Persia for a greater understanding. https://www.brookings.edu/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/06_iran_strategy.pdf It just felt so incredibly dismissive of factual information that is available and being shared by many analysts on the left, that study this and are experts on US foreign policy. The fact is, the US didn’t need Israel as the fall guy to go to war with Iran but they’re more than happy to use them as such and Israel is more than happy to be that fall guy.

The China bit isn't hasbara. It's bad policy, but it's definitely state policy. The Brookings Institute white paper from 2009, "Which Path to Persia" lays it out. Also, last week's Deprogram episode on China (the 2nd one) also covers it extensively. Just because it's a bad, and doomed policy, doesn't mean it's not policy.

To follow up, Israel is also part of why we're doing this. We don't need just 1 reason. Two things can be true at once.
