Our Home, My Keeper - Hug CG Process (Patreon)

Hi everyone, hope you're having a good weekend! Today we're sharing a bit of the process behind one of the CGs in our upcoming cottagecore yuri visual novel, Our Home, My Keeper!

Naturally, the first part is the sketch. Here, you're able to get a flow of things and feel the movement of the scene.

After that is the lineart.

Then we have the flat colors...

...And some shading!

It's common to flip the canvas when you're drawing to check how the perspective and anatomy looks - sometimes, you don't realize you're drawing things really off balance! Always be sure to check how it looks flipped before you call the art done, like weeniedesu does here.

Finally, we come to the fully shaded artwork, showing a human-sized Faye hugging Paige. Faye is the spirited brownie that resides in Paige's new home - and possibly a romantic partner for her...?
