Hello.

I'm officially scripting/working on the Familiar series finale. Yes, somehow, we made it here.

For those just joining us or just looking into this for the first time (like, maybe you were making it a problem for future you, like me), here's some basic information about where we're at with Familiar, this Patreon, etc. In bullet form, because no one's got time to read full paragraphs.

The finale will be three parts, each full length chapters (~30 pages)

They will be released on the regular every-other-month schedule

The finale is scheduled to publish on September 21, 2026

Yes, this will be the conclusion of the Familiar main comic

Yes, there is potential for spin-offs or inserting more filler chapters at later dates, however I do not have specific plans for this yet

I will continue to post Familiar as I have been for as long as I can safely do so, keeping in mind and abreast of political mayhem and the restrictions of adult content on the internet and meat space

I will be continuing development on my next serial comic, UNORIGINAL CHARACTERS, which will remain adult themed but may be modular in terms of the explicit/erotic content (e.g. I may choose to keep the explicit stuff behind a paywall in order to insulate myself from the nonsense noted in the above bullet point)

There will probably be a break between the finale of Familiar and the premiere of UNOC, because I will be building a backlog/buffer

Other Familiar stuff

I somehow got back on schedule. 4X CAGE drops end of November and 4X Vanilla is ready to go after the hiatus in March of 2026. Whew.

Shop stuff

I'll be doing a winter/holiday sale in the shop and releasing the coupon for that later this week. There will be one for Patrons and one for everyone else. The Patreon one will be better. Yes, you can share it with your non-Patron friends.

Other stuff

I'm in #hardcover 2025 so if you're interested in getting it for Soushiyo reasons, get in on it now. The kickstarter is already funded.

Winter break plans

As many of you know, I go on break from Dec-Feb where I pause working on the comic (or just catch up) and work on other projects. I will continue this tradition and hope to be working on some - or all - of the following this break:

More DE chapters laid out

Planning/dev work on UNOC #1

Special secret project

Soirée. Imagine if I actually had a chance to work on it.

I accidentally published this post earlier instead of saving it as a draft so it didn't have the end on it, which is: Thanks as always for your ongoing loyalty and support. Really appreciate it.
