July Influencer poll info & Q&A (Patreon)

OK, lol. I'm continuing to work on UNOC through July, and I'm currently working on both the pilot thumbnails AND building out the character designs for the miscellaneous projects that each of the main cast are working on.

LemonLime's project is an epic very erotic romantacy online novel series called Dawn Talon & Flame (DTF) about a group of griffin riders who are fighting a war against the forces of evil or whatever. In this world the griffins have (beyond) human intelligence, emotionality, their own separate society, speak many languages, etc. They've decided to join the humanoid forces for the sake of defeating the evil. The griffins choose which rider they pair with.

As far as the spicy stuff goes, probably pretty much all of the humanoid characters will shag at some point, and probably some of the griffins will have whatever the equivalent is of griffin shagging (though I don't think I'll be drawing it).

No, the riders will not shag the griffins. Not my genre.

The story takes itself very seriously, but from a meta perspective I'm using it as an excuse to poke (loving) fun at the romantacy genre. So yes, these characters are meant to be trope-y and over-the-top.

I have designed the 5 main characters and the 5 griffins. In July, I'll do FOUR influencer polls to determine which griffin is paired with which rider. But I'm going to basically do them in a rolling order, so we'll pick character 1's griffin first, then pick character 2's from the remaining griffins, etc. The last griffin remaining after the fourth poll will go to the last character.

But since it's going to have to happen in a sequence like this, I wanted to post all five characters and griffins so you can kind of get a feel for how you want to vote in advance.

The polls will go in order of the humanoid characters as they appear in the image attached, from left to right. (meaning Chase's poll will be first)

Is this a lot for a side thing that will appear only intermittently in UNOC? Maybe. But it was really fun to design the characters as a little exercise this morning. lol

Feel free to ask questions here or in the server! It's goofy. Have fun with it.

How does this affect UNOC? Good question. Throughout the comic we'll get snippets of each of the main characters' projects. This includes pages/panels with illustrations of L2's DTF series, along with prose from her story.
