Influencer poll - Familiar enamel pin pilot (Patreon)

Hi!

All right, as I had mentioned, the time has come (it's for the best, I know) for us to vote on what will, we hope, become the first Familiar/Soushiyo enamel pin campaign :)

One difference between the pins and the other products available through the store is that the pins are not printed on demand, and so inventory must be purchased (by me) in order to have the pins manufactured. I am planning to use Patreon proceeds to fund this little plan, and setting a price point that -- if we sell all the pins which are manufactured -- will both pay for a second printing of the same pin as well as fund the initial inventory of a second pin. (and give me a little profit on the top, because this is a business)

That all said, the idea is that a successful first pin means that we get to have a second pin, and a third pin, and so on. So I really wanted this first one to be something people want, which is why I'm bringing the vote to Patreon and all you Influencers!

A couple notes for your consideration:

Pins will retail at $16. 

They will be hard enamel, with a full color backing card. Exact size TBD, but I'm aiming for a lapel pin. I am not sure what options I have for clutch but my preference is rubber.

I went to look at the pricing for pins in Spring, and the pin form is currently closed. So I don't know when it will be back open, but hopefully soon. There are some pretty significant supply chain challenges going on in the world right now, so my guess is it's related to that. Regardless, whatever pin we land on from this poll will be the one I lead with, when the access is restored.

The pin designs pictured here are conceptual designs and while they may be close to the final design, there are going to be some design constraints and refinements that will be done - so consider these concepts, not exact representations of the final pins.

The "losing" designs may still eventually be made into pins, especially if the first pin is successful. So, don't feel like by voting for one, you are dooming the others to die in obscurity. Eventually it would be fun to produce all of these, and more!

If for whatever reason the winning design doesn't work logistically during production, I may re-open this poll with adjusted designs. This is my first time making a pin, and although I have a veteran pin making friend helping me, I still might make some mistakes along the way, so bear with me. I'll be transparent as possible, as always.

You will also notice that most of these designs are pretty generic in terms of content (ie no inside jokes). This is because, to put us in the best position of success, I'd like the pins to appeal to not just Familiar fans who know all the jokes, but also to people who might not necessarily be as.... ahem.... familiar... with the content. If we're able to keep building the library with each successful pin campaign, I hope to roll out more niche/inside joke pins that appeal to the Familiar expert :)
