I am glad we got a bit of an explanation as to why Misa is so devoted to Kira when she barely knows anything about him. That helped with the believability of their situation from where I'm sitting.

My question for you is, do you agree with Adam that she is more conniving and calculating than she is letting on? She didn't respond to Light's statement that she could have kept some of her Death Note pages, other than saying, "Why are you so suspicious of me?"

Does Misa have a plan?!

The lifespan discussion came up in the conversation with Misa earlier in the episode, Shinigami can't see each others lifespans and humans with death notes can't see each others.

I believe Rem/Misa were first mentioning not being able to see fellow Death Noters lifespans right when yall first paused this episode, so it slipped through. Woops! And I agree with Adam's interpretation of the 'love' rule. It's not specifically the act of being in love that kills you, it's the rules you break *because* you love them that kills you. Fun times as always!! Can't wait for the next one :)

the conversation where the lifespans of death note holders comes up is the part where Misa is brushing her hair and talking to Rem in her room if you wanted to go back to that scene!

Rem: Human with Shinigami eyes only need to know the lifespan of their victims. And just as we can't see the lifespan of others of our kind, humans who posses a Death Note cannot see each other's lifespan even with the eyes.

About the journal/diary entries early in this episode: that's just secret code, doesn't mean Misa did those things. In the journal it says (1) last year 5/30 watched game at Tokyo Dome, and the team was called Shinigami. This entry is to trick the police that Kiras would meet at 5/30. (2) Met friends and exchanged notes in Aoyama at 5/22. Others would think it as a normal notebook, since only Kira knows about deathnote. So Misa is telling Kira to meet in Aoyama at 5/22
