Just as we start to get tidbit (amuse bouche, if you will) answers, more and more questions pop up. These concerns are currently occupying way too much of my thoughts:

What is up with Genya? He should probably be dead, unless he can move his organs around like Inosuke. What is he chanting?

What happened to Tokito? We got the confirmation we were looking for as to memory issues, but whyyyyyy??

Are the staffs the key to defeating Upper Four?

How do you stop a demon that can create multiple clones on command (Upper Five)?

Is Tokito going to be given the 300- year old sword??

Don't tell me the answers... I just hope the show tells me soon 🙏

No unlike last season since Nezuko was already out of the box she was gonna have the fight anyways. But even with Nezuko they are still getting whooped as of right now. But to be fair these demons have different strong powers. I can’t wait to see your reaction to all of your questions getting answered!!

The staff and fan draw from Buddhist inspirations

FTN Chicken

all great questions (one clarification: the sorrow clone has a spear and the anger clone has a staff, so those are different weapons)

Genya is chanting the Amida Sutra which is basically a prayer (Aizetsu mentioned it in this episode).

Don't worry, all the questions you listed will be answered gradually this season. :)

I think I agree in general that women are sometimes defined by stereotypes in anime, especially since I know you guys are watching Death Note, which is pretty regressive in terms of women character development. However, Mitsuri definitely embodies the complexities of societal expectations and personal insecurities. Her struggles with self-acceptance due to her appearance, combined with her strength as a Hashira, create a fascinating dynamic. I personally love Mitsuri’s character, and the light hearted yet charming vibe she brings to an otherwise brooding/solemn group of Hashiras. P.S - my all time favourite is still Rengoku 🔥🔥

appols

the amuse bouche😂😂

I'm so happy someone appreciated that 🤣

Ok, I like this take. I need to get to know her more for sure!
