March comes in like a lion and Teppu essay (Patreon)

I figure if you follow my patreon you're at least a LITTLE interested in my writing, so I thought I'd give a heads up that I wrote a fairly lengthy essay analyzing how Teppu and March comes in like a lion handles telling a sports/competition story from the point of view of a “rival” character. And I posted the whole thing on my Wordpress blog, with lots of visuals!  I spent a bit of time on it, so definitely appreciate anyone checking it out.

Even if you haven’t read both stories- or either- I spend a lot of time showing and explaining the various elements of them, so it should be accessible to basically anyone who’s interested in storytelling and archetypes and all that. And maybe it will turn you on to some great manga (and in March’s case, also anime)!
