Hey!

Unfortunately we can't keep everything for the main video, but that's why Patreon is so perfect for us to upload extended material, just like this one! 😄

OMG SO MUCH CONTENT I AM OVERWHELMED

More Jonas and August - YES!!!

AttacKat

So much talent! I enjoyed this breakdown. I gotta say, Joel’s song and Jonas’s song are most satisfying to my ears. I literally got chills. Thanks for the extra content.

Hiii Joel. Jonas, August!!!

CK DeP

Nice to see some familiar faces lol

What makes a satisfying day? Getting a brand new Roomie video, plus TWO extra Patreon videos, including this masterpiece of you guys discussing your incredible songs in detail. This has been the most satisfying day I’ve had in quite some time. ☺️

Dorie

Is there a video somewhere where you explain a little more what you mean when you say something does or does not “sit well in the mix.” I think I understand from the context but would love more of an explanation. Thanks! And thanks for posting the extra content!

MediocreAtBest

Building on what I learned from the previous bts- Joel is addicted to adding gang vocals, August isn't into the Jonas Bros (sorry 4th brother: Jonas Jonas) and when they said they thought they might be too critical in the extended cut, they meant critical of themselves? Thought it was a good mix of positive feedback and constructive criticism, esp as someone who is just a casual listener of music, the points made are things I don't really think about. 👍

The gang is back yeeee 😍😌🙋🏻‍♀️

Looove looove the extended feedback! I think I am enjoying ( and vibing hard) and, at the same time, learning a loooooot about production and "stuff" that I have no clue hahaha I'm so glad to be part of this community. Lot of love for Roomie and all the patreons :) Happy to watch this video and expecting for the next one.

I sound like a broken record but I love the 3 of you together. Looking forward to more videos like these! Thanks for the extra content today 🙌🙌

Magalie Leplus

So happy to have more feedback of this vid. So good and interesting. Thanks.

AreaBrilliant

I could listen to the three of you talking about music stuff all day long. Sooo looking forward to more of these videos. I hope the main video gets a higher amount of views over time, because it's so great on so many different levels.

Thank you for posting this. I find the whole process of writing a song so very fascinating and all of you have some really great insights and expertise. Thank you thank you!!

Sugary Magnolia

This does remind me of the podcast, but you're all much more animated talking about this subject. More videos like this please! I love seeing everyone's creative process and hearing it all come together. It would be interesting to see multiple writing tools and mixing programs, and the difference they make.

Aubrey Danielle

This extended footage is SO fun to watch! Love seeing everyone’s thoughts and process 🥲
