I recognize not all of you might hear a massive difference from previous versions here but I added a bunch of really cool details to the chorus of Bit By Bit and I'm really excited lol

Since it's about losing your mind I'm having a little bit more fun than usually with pitching voices around and stuff. The chords that come in halfway are actually my voice too, but pitched around and distorted. So fun! Love when I'm 100% that I would LOVE this if I heard it from another artist.

HAPPY FRIDAY!

Shauna

It’s. So. Good. 🔥👏🏻

Melissa

Song writing is a process and not all process is a big change. Take your time and do what feels right. I have loved it from the first time you shared it and still do. As long as you're having fun and love it, you have my support.

Lea Levin

I don't comment often but this is worth a "MONSTER!!" 🔥🔥🔥

Alle Engdahl

Not me getting weird looks vibing to this in my car after a hectic work week

Karmas05

🔥🔥🔥 I really love it, can't wait to ear the full song and all the others you're working on. ❤️🥰

Mari

I mean.. it's okay. I don't know. I'm definitely in the minority here, but it feels dated now.

Helga 🦊

It’s very catchy and I can see myself listening to this song a lot ☺️ Keep up the good work, Joel! And thanks for updates.

Airyckah Lane

Catchy!!! But that “time” that echos? Seems, to me, a little strong.. and takes away…

CK DeP

This is sooo freaking awesome!!! (Lol I would say the f word but idk if Patreon rules would even allow it so I'll just be safe for now haha!) Love how it has come along , happy Friday to you too Joel! Tack sm Joel for keeping us updated, informed on your music, other amazing things along the way! (Idek why but I just now realized that your back in L.A, if I'm correct lol, how was your flight back?) & did you ever get or have somebody from the airline that lost your luggage get back to you or no? Did you have to get a new set of baggage & new clothes and such??? How's your time in Sweden? It's going to a VERY extremely wet weekend for us here in Arizona & in California. I'm sure that you know that already lol but your weather is coming to us too for I think mid of tonight and into tomorrow and Sunday and Monday. 😂 (If it's already raining or pouring for u , I hope that u have a place to park or have your Tesla somewhere safe I guess haha coz doesn't Tesla's they can't really get wet or something? I'm not that familiar to much info on Tesla's lol I don't own one but I think they're pretty cool!)😂 @Roomie

Dannielle O'Neill

What do I love more, the energy and enthusiasm of a happy Joel 😀 or the banger of a song🔥? BOTH. IT'S BOTH. Keep it comin'! Have a good Friday evening.

Your comment about Teslas not being able to get wet fucking sent me oh my god I needed that 😹😹😹

Cas

C'mon!!!!! Sounds great and I am so glad you are excited about your music again. Keep us updated.

CK DeP

I'm totally into this kinds of things like as you said getting lost in your mind or whatever. I tend to "freaking lose my mind" - (hahaha ayyy, like that pun haha okay I'll stop , shut up now haha!!!😂😂😂😂) Yes, pun intended lol Anyways, I do lose my mind ALOT especially at my work place but yeah it's life. Also I tend to "freaking lose my mind" when I hear your music coz ya know it's soooo amazing so I tend to get super lost in it, forget all the bad things or stress or whatevers bothering me or something. (I hope this doesn't seem weird to you or whatever haha just speaking my mind, opinions, thoughts, thought I'd share & hope it doesn't seem like too much info or something, if it does please let me know) @Roomie

CK DeP

When the final / finished version of this song is done, will it be YouTube, Spotify or on here or are you planning to add it in your EP? @Roomie

Melissa Rogers
>>99579957

I totally agree with you Dannielle!! A: happy, energetic, and enthusiastic Joel mixed with an absolute BANGER of a song; is always a great combination!! 🔥😁

CK DeP

Just wondering if your songs such as "Lemme Tell U" , I Don't Know What I'm Doing, your re-edition to Justin Bieber's Stay "Used" , Photograph , Everywhere With You , Wishing I Could Go Back - more , will those songs be fully songs and will they ever be released for us like on YouTube, Spotify? Especially the So Selfish one, lol I know that you've been working on that song for quite awhile but it'll be super Worth It Haha get it your song Worth It lol okay I'll shutup now haha!🙂💕💕👍🎶🎶🤣 @Roomie

Melissa Rogers

Joel, tysm for this amazing update on your new song “Bit By Bit”!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 It sounds like it’s coming along very nicely!! Definitely a banger in its current, unfinished state!! Really looking forward to hearing the finished product when you feel it’s absolutely perfect and you release it!! 🔥🔥 I love hearing how excited you are!! Oh, btw., happy “Freaky Friday” the 13th!! Lotsa #RoomanianLove 💙💛🥰🫠🔥🙏🏻

I know this is going to sound super nerdy weird and this is non-music-related type stuff but I have no idea if you have read or looked at any of my comments in the past on your posts on here & it was on your Swedish break post (Dec 2022) I commented on it (Dec. 20th) & one of my comments I put in was, as a video idea / suggestions. In my ideas / suggestions I put in as some videos are/were non - music related videos for you to react to. (Again) I don't know if you have seen it or read it over or something but I guess I'll say what it was & say it on here & see if you see or read it. I don't think I can do any links on here because I think that's part of the Patreon rules not to do. So I'll just say the title of videos. Some of my ideas/suggestions are kinda weird, embarrassing but how about these for video ideas - reaction video to weird YouTube videos - reaction video to funny carwash compilations (some videos of people "accidentally" having their windows down so they get a very nice spray surprise!😂) - reaction video to blooper compilations (people being in background videobombing the news reporters falling or something) @Roomie

This is the epitome of “I’m sad AF and going through some shit, but I wanna dance”

Jessi

Previously I wasn't to sure about this song, but this clip just changed that. I'm totally enjoying all the nuances of this and can't wait to hear it all together!

Ave Castruita

I really like it, good job! Glad you're having fun.

Sofía Reyes

This is lit!! Really catchy and cool.

Amberlash

Sounding pretty good so far. Glad you're excited about it. :)

emy

Aaaaaaaay! Without understanding everything you did, I love the new sparkly, slidy voices. They add a new colour to that driving chonk feel. it feels like there’s more movement in it, like it’s pulsing forward with more intensity. Also I like how there are goodies in there for our ears to find on 2nd/3rd listens, like as listeners we can definitely hear the fun that’s going into this, if that makes sense

loonylovesgood

I love the vibe! It has an 80s, yet modern flavour. I’m looking forward to the day when I can add these new songs to my ever-growing Roomie playlist. ☺️

Courtney Walker

That is definitely a catchy song. Gives an amazing vibe!!!

naschpanda

I already know that this will be my new favorite song. Can't wait for the full version. I love the little details you added and to hear that you're having so much fun with that. You put a lot of heart into your music and you can hear that ☺️

Hi. I know these ideas are important to you, but I'm sure that if you sent them to roomievideoideas@gmail.com, they already have been looked at or will be next time a team member has a look at the e-mails there. Also, we've just been asked to share ideas in the subreddit and Joel has asked us in a recent post here. Please don't post ideas under a post that didn't ask for ideas. Imagine everyone here did that. You would look at the comment section and half of the comments wouldn't be about Joel's post. Why would anyone like to have a look any longer?

Magalie Leplus

That's a good start of my day ! Thanks for th update. It makes me wanna dance

Jennifer Mendez

Love it! Sounds like it came from a classic 80s film! ❤️

JustSomeJK

C'mon, that is catchy as heck 😁 Very energetic and groovy. Happy Saturday 🙂

I agree with that echoing "time', that I'm not totally sure about it. At least at the first listening it stood out somehow. After listening to it couple of times it sort of melted in more. Hard to say what it will sound like when hearing the whole finished song. When hearing short piece of a song, it's easier to get stuck with little details 😂 Otherwise I liked those fun little "embellishments" (sounds with different sounding voices) 🙂

Ohh okay lol thanks Sarah for informing me on this. I'll try to do email again (I have tried to do it on email but it some reason it didn't send or something last time I did it) but I can try it again. Ohh, I didn't know that you could share ideas on Subreddit , ( so like title wise I can share on there but not links obviously right) Again thanks for informing me on this. & I promise I won't do anything like this again unless it says to do so on a post. 👍🙂

Sarah
>>99581246

You're welcome. Usually you can’t suggest video ideas on the subreddit, as you know, but there has been an exception by Sofie. Just comment on her post. Also, I'm sure whatever you've sent via e-mail has been or will be read. No need to send twice.

CK DeP
>>99581246

Okay cool, thanks sm again!🙂👍 What's Sofie's subreddit? When I first did the email thingy it said it wasn't able to sent or something so I tried re sending it again few months ago and still said same thing. It said that it was queued, so maybe that's was probs. Now , today (later on) I'll check and see if any those 2 emails sent thru if not I'll re try it again, maybe I'll try with an different email address and see if that goes thru.🙂👍

Sarah
>>99581246

Oh, I meant THE subreddit (Joel's). Sofie posted a few days ago and said that we could comment video suggestions under her post.

xtina 🖤

i love your vocals on it-lit, the music is 80s -but feels more like 80s cartoon theme tho. Maybe i need to hear more lyrics too, because just the tiny bit, no pun intended lol, makes me think of “step by step” by nkotb. thanks for the updates.. im excited to see where you take all these sneak peaks

CK DeP
>>99581246

Ohh okay lol haha! Thx for that lol Would the subreddit title say something of video ideas or something and then comment on that my ideas (not links obviously) but say my ideas and see.

Calize

I looove that little synth run on the second ‘bit’! 🔥
